Oof. This was a rough night and very out of the ordinary for Sol but it needs to be said. We were sat pretty quickly but then it took more than 10 minutes for water to be brought to the the table and another 10 for our server to come by (by my estimation, she had at least 10 tables, all sat in rapid succession). She took our drink and appetizer order and put them in. Our appetizer came out quickly but they forgot to bring the chips to go along with. Drinks took 30 minutes…for only half of our party. The other half were just completely forgotten by the bar staff. If you’re paying attention, we have already been there 50 minutes. We had to ask our server to take our dinner order. We asked the status of the other 2 drinks 3 times before we gave up. When our dinner arrived 10 minutes later, we had to ask for more water and it took 20 minutes to arrive and when it did, the jug had food particles in it. One of the dinner dishes was incorrect. We sent that back and the correct dish brought to our table in less time than it took for the food particle water to arrive. At this point, an hour and 20 minutes into our reservation we asked for a manager. He was clearly stressed but was actually quite rude when we showed him the water and asked about our drinks for a 4th time. He said he would comp the drinks and the dish that was bad and then blamed the bar staff for everything being chaotic (2 bartenders called in so he had 2 servers making drinks (!!!)). It took another 15 minutes for new, clean water to arrive and 10 more minutes on top of that for the other two drinks to finally arrive - made wildly incorrect. We never received the itemized receipt so I can’t say if our drinks or the messed up dinner dishes were actually comped. Looking at the total, something was comped but not everything that should have been. Other than the one dish that was messed up, the food, especially the ceviche, was really good. Drinks were meh.

We had a wonderful dinning experience at Sol tonight. The food for delicious and our server Jenna was GREAT! Her recommendations were spot on. We will be back!

Very good food. The food presentation and flavor is beyond what you find in a typical Mexican restaurant. The pumped in music was a bit too loud, making it difficult to converse.

SOL Mexican was okay, but it didn't live up to expectations. My wife's wine came out warm, when it was meant to be chilled. They corrected, but saw the bartender open the wine bottle wrapper with her teeth. Gross. Additionally, the dish I had was absent of flavor. Ben, our server was nice, but I'd go somewhere else next time.

Mostly good but one in our party order a chicken dish and it had some 'less than lean' chicken. They chose to not finish the dish but too polite to complain. Also service was slow and scattered, quite busy but you'd think Saturday night and they'd be prepared. Like most places, always trying to 'optimize' staffing, and when it doesn't work out the customer has to compensate, one way or another.
