   Very crowded but lively and welcoming. Seated promptly thanks to our Open Table reservation - table was perfect - outdoors under heater. Hostess was amazing. Food and drinks were excellent. Thank you for an awesome experience!

   I made reservations at 5:30pm for patio booth seating and arrived early, only to be seated 15 minutes late. What added insult to injury was that other walk-up patrons were being being seated immediately with same size party. I was told that they only had one person busing tables that evening my table needed more time. Hmmm... After being seated, my guest and I BOTH individually recognized that the chips served as appetizers were stale. Even the second and third try were the same (stale) but the manager graciously brought out some freshly made tortillas chips, only after we started eating our meal. I was grateful, though, that he did not charge us for our menu'd appetizer. Expected to be a noisy atmosphere on their patio, nothing was any different this evening. It was loud! Would I come back? Hmmmm, yes, because of its ambiance and locale. But it'll be a while, since I have get this experience out of my system.

   If you’re looking for exceptional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist, SOL Mexican Cocina in Playa Vista is the spot to be! From the moment you step inside, the vibe is lively, warm, and inviting, with chic décor and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! The guacamole is super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served with crispy chips that you can’t stop eating. Their tacos are next-level, with standout options like the Baja fish taco, which is crispy, flavorful, and topped with just the right amount of slaw and crema. The carnitas taco? Melt-in-your-mouth tender. And don’t sleep on the margaritas! They have a great selection, but the blackberry jalapeño margarita deserves a special mention—it’s the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and refreshing. Service was top-notch, too. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations. Even when the place got busy, we never felt rushed.    Was very disappointed in our service. It was for a birthday and not only did they charge on the bill for a birthday dessert that wasn’t asked for, everything was extremely delayed (hours) and our sever was nowhere to be found at all. I’ve gone here so many times but was very disappointed that I chose this place to spend my birthday.

   Loved the variety and healthy options. The skinny chicken burrito was delicious and so was the rosca du churros with vanilla ice cream!!

    They were very short staffed. No one ever came to assist us until I went up to the bar where the manager was he confirmed that they were short staffed, then came to our table and offered us a free appetizer just for them to add it to the bill. I’ve been coming here for years as I used to Live locally and it was always a great place to go, but today I brought my friends and it was very disappointing.
