The service we received was horrible. Not something we expected since we are regulars at this restaurant.

Great food. It was noisy, but to be expected on a Friday night. Waiter was good, but too busy.

We were celebrating my father’s 60th and the night didn’t go well at all. To start, my four year old kept pleading with me and the wait staff to turn off the heater over his seat. He was ignored until about an hour in. Nobody would stop when we had a request or wanted to order more. Each of the staff treated us as if we were a nuisance to them. Brought us the $15 guacamole, but didn’t provide chips for 15 mins. By then our food arrived; my order was incorrect and after speaking with three people, they finally believed me. Then again, brought me the wrong food. I think had to wait for 25 mins after my family ate to actually get food of my own. Unacceptable all around. They should either staff appropriately for a Tuesday evening or encourage their staff to slow down and try to listen to patrons to lessen service issues.

Sol is an excellent choice for upscale Mexican with great seating and delicious flavors. On the water with an outdoor patio and a large bar space, Sol is good for any occasion.

We had a great seat overlooking the harbor. I had their halibut special which was the most delicious halibut dish I have ever had. Their blackberry margaritas are delicious. Love the atmosphere. Quick service.

Always love this place, for any occasion! Patio just needs something done about the noise, there's nowhere for sound to travel so loud patrons are deafening.

Unique fancy Mexican food that is always good. Yummy cocktails. Slightly pricey. I really appreciated that they went out of their way to give us a good waterfront table and said happy birthday to my boyfriend when mentioned in my open table reservation. Thank you for making it special for him! :)

Sol Cocina was a very nice restaurant. The server's, bussers, and hostesses very extremely friendly and diligent. The waitress (Natalie) showed great patience; my date and I took a while to order anything because we were talking. Lol However, it was overall an amazing evening at Sol Cocina.

We arrived 10 mins before the restaurant opened on a Sunday. We had a reservation. Once the doors opened, we were immediately seated by a window and provided large chips, salsa, and water. We had a beautiful view of the boats. We each ordered the Souffle Carlotta. It was so good. It's not simply extraordinary French toast. It's divine. No syrup needed.

My wife and I were there to celebrate our 39th anniversary. I told the hostess and our server then not another thing was mentioned or served by the staff. I expected, at least, a candle on a scoop of ice cream or something. VERY DISAPOINTED!

The drinks, service and atmosphere were great. The food was not awesome though. I had the market fish which had a very strong odor of fish and was overcooked. The flavor was ok but I couldn't make it through the tough smelly meat.

It was restaurant week and maybe that affected kitchen because I ordered something off the regular menu and my spouse ordered from the special menu and the meals came out about 20 min apart! Food was not as good as usual but our server was very nice and apologetic!

Horrible experience. Bad service. We came to SOL for daughters birthday. The waiter brought 1 basket of chips for five people. Needless to say, they were devoured in 5 minutes. Not once did anyone ask if we wanted more. Bottle of water on table to serve ourselves, which is fine. However, the bottle was empty halfway through our meal and never replenished. We had a round of margaritas, again no one ever asked us if we wanted another. I actually pulled a bottle of water from my purse to fill my glass. We couldn't get a servers attention to ask for anything as they were nowhere to be found. The carneasada and chicken were cold in three of our meals and so were the beans! Yuck! Thankfully the fish tacos were warm. I honestly would have sent it back but I kid you not we could not get a hold of anyone! The bill was dropped on our table as soon as our plates were removed with the half eaten cold tacos. They never even asked us if we wanted dessert which would have been nice given the fact we were celebrating a birthday! I put my credit card inside and again waited for at least 10 minutes. Finally we all pulled our cash together and left the cash so we didn't have to wait any longer. As soon as we pulled in our driveway at home my son and daughter hopped in his truck and went to In N Out because they were starving. Pathetic excuse for a Mexican restaurant. We will never return nor recommend this place to ANYONE.

AMBIANCE AND LOCATION ARE OUTSTANDING. PRICE IS A BIT HIGH FOR THE LIMITED MENU AND TASTE OF THE FOOD. ITS IS A ONCE IN A WHILE LOCATION FOR ME. MORE FOR SCENERY THAN THE FOOD.
