Great Food & Staff
Jack & the Gang Rock!
My fave place in the area and pre show hangout! Great food and service.
My friends and I have been coming to this place since 2016. We come here for group dinner and drinking. The food is great and very authentic. Our favorite dish is pork feet (any style) and the rice is top with dry fish and an egg (free before 8 pm on weekdays!) nonetheless to say that we’ll always come back here
Great place for drinks. Food was okay. Fried chicken was dry. Great service.
Was really great, awesome selection! Fast and attentive service, would only recommend making it more well known that it's cash or amex only! I didn't know before going in.
No oysters, lack of service, food was not as good as a previous time I came before
My favorite Korean in the neighborhood! Always delicious and a vibrant crowd! Mixed it up this visit and tried the braised Monkfish. Spicy and comforting on a pre Thanksgiving bash. Can’t wait to return.
We had such a fun night at Soju Haus. The staff helped us pick some great dishes. We tried the Haus Cucumber Soju Cocktail and a Frozen Beer with Sizzling Bulgolgi and Chive Pancake. Everything was amazing, service was wonderful. Helpful and attentive, but not rushing us out. Good to knows: they only accept cash and AmEx, the elevator is TINY (like no more than 2 people fit)and the low top tables have seats that you can store your stuff in, like seriously pick up the cushion and shove your jacket in there.
I loved all the food! The staff was the friendliest, most helpful! We were going to order two pitchers of drinks and our waiter automatically didn't just say yes to a bigger check, he cautioned us to have one, and if we want a second one he would be more then happy to bring us our second choice! We asked several members of the staff for recommendations and they were friendly and great recommendations! Even though we were there for hours (eating & drinking) and it got busier later in the night, they didn't rush us out. The decor, food, and ambiance were great! Also, how do they get the bathrooms to smell so good?!
Stellar as always! Incredible flavors and even our first time Jordan cuisine diner was thrilled. Still dreaming about the spicy Korean chicken stew!
Very unique korean cushion food!
Great food and drinks! Recommend baby back ribs (especially they are on special menu, really worth it!) and fruit-flavored soju!
Spicy sea food soup is very delicious and the material is fresh, but the clam soup tasted a little strange and too light. I love pancake and rice ball the most, they are traditional and classic.
Amazing as always!!!! Can’t wait for my return visit!
The environment is great. Food quality always high. Price is also a good deal.
Price was reasonable. Service was good overall. They only take Amex, which is okay but i prefer to use my Chase Sapphire Reserve (visa) for restaurants.
This place is on second floor of a doorman building. It's worthwhile to ask the doorman where this restaurant is and then you will be directed upstairs. Really interesting and tasty food. They gave me a fork!
Yes it gets really loud in here. I have a love hate relationship. The food keeps making me want to come back.
OpenTable allowed us to book a table; Soju Haus got our accommodations and the service was excellent. Food and drinks were good as always! Thank you both parties...
A must experience.
We had to add a person to our table, staff was super kind to let us, they were very polite. We absolutely loved our waitress who gave some suggestions on food selection. The food was excellent, though the soju was slightly disappointing as it was a bit weaker then expected.
The restaurant itself is very nice. It's in a good location as well. Overall everything was great.
Spectacular as always! A perfect girls night out and a few Korean food novices....they left it in my hands yo select, and it was divine! Kimchi friend rice......yes please! Can’t wait to return!
Very cool koreatown scene. The food is amazing. It is loud but it makes it feel very energetic. It’s dark. The soju cocktails are amazing. Especially the grapefruit one.
Excellent service and the chef sent out a couple of complimentary dishes that were fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Very good food. Good for friends’ get-together.
Great spot!
Great as always!
This place is literal garbage when it comes to the food. It is an injustice to the great restaurants in K town. If you’ve ever had Korean food, don’t come here, you’ll be disappointed with what they serve.
all food items had gluten. which was an issue so we were only able to eat oysters.
We love the variety of the menu and the ambiance is always so lively and good.
But I felt some of the dishes were not so tasty..
I went to Soju Haus with a couple friends to end my birthday weekend and we had an absolute blast. I was extremely looking forward to the flavored Soju since NYC is the only place I can get it and I love in PA. I made a reservation at 6 but we got there a bit early because we were hungry. We were seated right away and given water and glasses. We ordered a couple dishes to share and a couple bottles of Soju and enjoyed everything. I especially like the spicy pork and squid stir fry. The sauce was the right combo of spicy and flavorful. The pork was perfect and easy to bite into since there were only chopsticks and no knives. One waitress who had a wonderful accent was very helpful telling us about certain dishes since we were unfamiliar with Korean cuisine. I know that the next time I go back to NYC I'll be making another reservation there. 👍🏻
From the ambience and the energy in the space , it is the best NYC Korean BBQ that strongly holds the best;ambience , service and hospitality and true knowledge on the food item . They will inform you if you over order and share with you that one order can be shared between 2-3 people . I thought that was very kind of them. Our server was super ! And our BBQ ribs were the best I have had in nyc a long with the spicy shrimp and vegetable dish ( both are highly recommended ). I do not like seaweed and the seaweed rice bowl as a restaurant hospitality to the table was DELISH! we are looking forward to our next hosting at soju .
The Korean food here is very different than what I was expecting. I still don't know how I feel about it, it doesn't taste bad, it's just different. We ordered what our waitress recommended: chicken stew, pork belly, and bbq chicken and cheese, all with rice (but the rice was with either dry nori or anchovies). I wouldn't go back and prefer the other Korean restaurants in the area.
Food, service and price was perfect! We sat with 9 people, but service was fast.
Very bad experience, we waited at least 20 minutes after seated for someone to take our order. And the food was incredibly flavorless. We had the bbq chicken with cheese and grilled beef intestines, both tasted horrible. Spicy noodle with kimchi tasted like noodles soaked in hot water for 2 minutes. Avoid this place, go to Pocha32, her name is han for much better quality food and cheaper price.
Soju Haus was amazing as always!!! The food is incredible and the atmosphere is charming and cool! Soju and Frozen beer is a must have! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ashley was especially great! She is a gem!
Overall it is very good. Small tables suitable for small parties
Food was jus ok Service was good.
The food was good and the soju tasty. They forgot to put in one of our dishes, and it ran out so they comped us a different dish.
always remember, its only cash/American express! If you don't have cash they have an atm machine. Get the Whole Squid within the grilled menu.
