   This was my first time dining at Sojourner & it was wonderful! Our server, Jack was excellent and attended to our every need. He even let us tour their other restaurant (which is only cone at dinner). I highly recommend walking around the grounds of SouthHall - it is gorgeous! Overall a fabulous experience!

   Southall/Sojourner is undoubtedly deserving of its praise when it comes to the quality of the food. The dishes were creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill, and the attention to detail in the menu was clear. However, the overall experience fell short due to the disappointing service. We had high hopes for a special evening as it was our anniversary, but the atmosphere was tarnished by another patron who was excessively loud, to the point where we could hear her chewing and speaking at the same time. After discreetly bringing this to the attention of the staff, we noticed a marked decline in the level of service we received. We went from feeling like valued guests to feeling ignored. What was supposed to be a memorable celebration felt more like a rushed meal, with little effort made by the staff to acknowledge our special occasion or ensure we were comfortable. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected more consideration, especially given the premium prices. While the food was exceptional, the lack of attentiveness and hospitality left us with a disappointing overall experience. We hope the service will improve to match the standard of the cuisine.

   I had a wonderful experience with friends meeting for drinks and dinner! The Old Fashioned was the best I have ever had. Kameron, our server, was fun and helpful with menu recommendations. The smoked trout dip is a must. The burger has so many tastes and flavors. The crab cake sandwhich - YES! Make sure to spend some time lounging by the fire before or after dinner.

   Sojourner made our 20th anniversary celebration very special. The food was fabulous, the wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was nice. We really enjoyed our rare night out. The “Happy Anniversary” chocolates on our desserts were an extra special touch of class! If you want a special night out, this just might be the place to go.

   We visited today and honestly we were quite disappointed. The surroundings are fantastic, certainly beautiful enough for us to return, the food however was average at best! I ordered the green salad and it was lettuce, arugula and a few seeds.. even with added shrimp it was basic! I ended up asking for feta or parmesan to make it more enjoyable. The hoagie that was also ordered was ok… ish! Lastly the Bread and Butter pudding was half hot and stone cold in the middle… Service was attentive. For such a wonderful place the food absolutely lets it down… I hope this will be rectified soon!

    It was our first time to SouthHall. We ate at Sojourner and the whole experience was great. Our server Noelle treated us so well. She was one of the nicest servers we have had in quite a while. She answered all our questions about the menu. By the time we left I felt like we had made a new friend. She is definitely an asset to to the SouthHall family.
