A Park Slope gem. Well-prepared and presented food, well-matched wine list, attentive service, understated ambience.
The food here is off the charts delicious. I came with my Mom friday nite and was shocked that the restaurant wasn’t packed to the rafters. We started with an appetizer of the pork belly. It was presented like an eggs benedict on a lucious brioche toast with butternut squash, brussel sprout leaves and a sunny side up egg perfectly cooked with a runny yoke and crispy white. What a treat!! Our main course was the duck breast served with incredible garnishes of potato, wine poached pears and we substituted the kale it normally comes with fir mushrooms. Every bite was a symphony of wonderful flavors. Flourless Chocolate cake is to die for. Can’t wait to come back. Also an amazing wine list.
This place isn’t a typical New York “place”. They really care about the customer experience. I made a reservation for 3 and they called to let me know they stopped serving brunch at 3. However because of a previous engagement I wasn’t able to make it at 2:30 and when I arrived they had saved our table and we had the place to ourselves! It was so sweet! Also the sweet rolls they provided were the perfect treat, and their chicken and waffles definitely had a nice crisp skin and a hot juicy inside. The butter for the cornbread waffle was colorful (and yummy) and looked great in the picture I took! Thanks a bunch for hosting two tired people trying to make time for each other in busy NYC!
We went here for a late brunch. Luckily we arrived before the 3:00 pm end. The waiter was very pleasant and made a great martini. The portions were nice and the foods were tasty. Go and enjoy.
My wife took me out to dinner for my birthday. We have dined here a few times prior and as always everything was excellent. Service, quality of food and menu selection is way above par. I look forward to returning.
"AS ALWAYS" Soigné did not disappoint.
I've been dining here for a few years now and I and my family have Always walked away happy and satisfied with an Awesome dining experience.
If anyone reading this review has not been yet.... Be good to yourself and give it a try, it will make you want to comeback for more!
From start to finish the food was delicious. It was well presented. The staff was attentive but not bothersome. It is a quiet intimate restaurant. We look forward to going back again.
Great food! This is a great restaurant with neighborhood vibe, away from the busy area of park slope. The food was amazing! Great wine selections too. Staff very knowledgeable. Would absolutely come back!
Went here for Valentine’s Day. The menu was great, food was excellent but service was just okay. One of those situations where other tables that sat down after us got served before us. Somewhat to be expected on a busy date night holiday but still annoying. But, would definitely come back.
This place is a hidden gem in Park Slope. Great food, quiet romantic atmosphere, great wines & truly attentive service.
Wonderful, friendly restaurant with an extensive wine list. Dined here several times, never had a bad meal.
This is the second time we’ve been here. Loved it so much that we came back with the whole family!
It was my husbands birthday and the food was absolutely amazing best brunch spot we have had in a while!!! Will recommend to anyone and I’ll for sure be back!!!
Wife’s Birthday celebration. Sunday 6:30 reservation. Restaurant was empty. The food and service was excellent. Surprised that the restaurant was not full. Will definitely go back.
I was pleasantly surprised, chose this last minute for dinner before a concert. I had the bold red wine flight, excellent choices. We had the herbed bone marrow for an app and I had the wild mushroom risotto. Everything was fresh & delicious. The wait staff was friendly and quick, very attentive. I loved the ambiance. Highly recommend
Delicious food, amazing service! Would love to go back.
Took my daughter & my husband for his birthday. The menu has changed a bit for the better. The food was delicious, portions satisfying, noise level low, service attentive. My daughter especially loved her crab cakes and burger. I had the foie gras. I wanted more. There's another place in the neighborhood that serves foie gras, this is better. Everything was delicious. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we will certainly be back.
I’ve been here several times, and always have a wonderful meal. They always have wonderful complimentary bites. I need to come here more.
Good food reasonably priced. Quiet so that having a conversation is no problem.
Great service, totally gave us space to catch up and take our time. Wonderful meals, i had the mushroom tart, friend had the blt. Both generous portions, well plated. Also came with a complimentary pecan roll to start. Nice touch.
For years and years, whatever the occasion, it's always great !!
Wonderful meal in a cozy quiet atmosphere. Attentive wait staff. It's always a pleasure to dine here. Nice bar selection as well. The pumpkin cheese cake and pork chop were amazing.
Accommodating service and very homey. A very nice price fixed dinner menu and waiter remembered we were seeing a show a couple of blocks away and gave us our check so we would not be late.
Excellent meal with helpful accommodating staff. My husband was in heaven with his bone marrow appetizer. The flourless chocolate cake with caramel and hazelnut crunch was sublime. Our other dishes were all excellent.
A lovely little spot on a quiet South Slope corner. Food was good, service was excellent and the room was incredibly cozy. The kind of neighborhood place where you can get a nice cocktail and good cooking that's increasingly endangered in the city. Definitely recommended
We went for thanksgiving dinner. Everything was amazing! The food, service, cleanliness, and price. 3 courses and many choices. The staff was extremely accommodating with food substitutions. An outstanding restaurant and experience. We will definitely be back!
Food was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly.
Our favorite local restaurant. Superb food. good wine list (and not pricey).
This hidden gem does Park Slope proud. Tucked on a quiet residential street, we felt like we were dining in a neighbor's lovely home.
We really like this place. A bit pricey, but just a bit. Nice and quiet, so a good place to talk.
Amazing friendly service, fantastic food and excellent wine list A++
Excellent find in Park Slope. Great neighborhood feel. I would definitely go back again!!!
Wedding anniversary
This is truly a fine dining experience in Brooklyn at half the price of a Manhattan dinner. Comfortable seating and great atmosphere. Portions for appetizers are large enough to share. We shared the bone marrow appetizer which was a truly decadent experience. Two huge beef bones with slices of freshly toasted brioche and caramelized onions. ( in Craft this would be $28 here $14). We shared the duck breast as well and they split it in the kitchen for us. Succulent and juicy with a port wine reduction and grilled fresh peaches. The crispy skin was delicious but quite like eating a salt mine. There seems to be a trend lately to over salt with sea salt that I'm not fond of but other than that everything was spot on and incredibly flavorful. Next time I would ask chef to ease up on salting or I would just cut off and avoid the duck skin. The bowls they serve in are very attractive but unwieldily to cut meat in. We didn't have dessert but the options looked amazing. Truly a wonderful restaurant to have in Brooklyn.
I have been to Soigne on a number of occasions and I have never been disappointed. Excellent service, reliably tasty food, and fair prices. It's an added plus that the noise level is generally low enough that you can actually talk to your dinner companions in a normal voice... unlike so many of the trendy and noisy restaurants in the Slope.
This was our first time at Soigne... excellent experience!
Great find! Warm friendly and informed staff. Food is as interesting as it is delightful. Chef Anthony's artisanal creations are satisfying and delicious . Will definitely be back!
From the moment we had the gazpacho, we knew we were in for an amazing meal. Everything was cooked I perfection. We had so many things because we wanted to try as many things as possible, and everything was spot on. We have already made another reservation to go back next week. Highly recommend this amazing establishment.
We had a wonderful dinner date there. Great food, very friendly service, nice and romantic. We will go there again soon!
