This hidden gem does Park Slope proud. Tucked on a quiet residential street, we felt like we were dining in a neighbor's lovely home.

We really like this place. A bit pricey, but just a bit. Nice and quiet, so a good place to talk.

This is truly a fine dining experience in Brooklyn at half the price of a Manhattan dinner. Comfortable seating and great atmosphere. Portions for appetizers are large enough to share. We shared the bone marrow appetizer which was a truly decadent experience. Two huge beef bones with slices of freshly toasted brioche and caramelized onions. ( in Craft this would be $28 here $14). We shared the duck breast as well and they split it in the kitchen for us. Succulent and juicy with a port wine reduction and grilled fresh peaches. The crispy skin was delicious but quite like eating a salt mine. There seems to be a trend lately to over salt with sea salt that I'm not fond of but other than that everything was spot on and incredibly flavorful. Next time I would ask chef to ease up on salting or I would just cut off and avoid the duck skin. The bowls they serve in are very attractive but unwieldily to cut meat in. We didn't have dessert but the options looked amazing. Truly a wonderful restaurant to have in Brooklyn.

I have been to Soigne on a number of occasions and I have never been disappointed. Excellent service, reliably tasty food, and fair prices. It's an added plus that the noise level is generally low enough that you can actually talk to your dinner companions in a normal voice... unlike so many of the trendy and noisy restaurants in the Slope.

From the moment we had the gazpacho, we knew we were in for an amazing meal. Everything was cooked I perfection. We had so many things because we wanted to try as many things as possible, and everything was spot on. We have already made another reservation to go back next week. Highly recommend this amazing establishment.

Food was mediocre, nothing to rave about. Ambiance was very nice. There was only 4 tables when we arrived and the noise level was pretty loud. As for the service.... it started off okay, until dessert. We ordered the (flourless torte) gelato special off the menu and the waitress brought us over a single scoop of gelato. When asked if this was the flourless torte gelato special she said no you asked for gelato and if I wanted that I had to specify that's what I wanted. That's fine but, considering there is no other gelato, ANYWHERE, on the menu I would say it's a fair assumption when ordering the gelato special you would get the flourless torte gelato. Instead of just saying I'm sorry I misunderstood yadda yadda yadda she wanted to continue on with this argument as to how I was wrong. I was fed up and asked for my check. She then brings me another tables check which was almost $100 more expensive and apologizes and says I'm sorry things are just going crazy here right now. Crazy? There was only two other tables. If you can't handle three tables then you need to find yourself a new career sweetheart. Long story short.... Stay away.

Our experience was an awesome one - from the impeccable service, the amazing wine flights, the delicious food, to the divine flourless chocolate torte. There were 3 of us who all ordered different meals so we could taste them all and we could not pick a favorite. We visit NYC each year for a conference and have unanimously agreed this will be a staple location for us to eat on every trip we make there.

Not only was the food excellent, but they didn't mind our hanging out long after the check was paid. Of course there was no line at the door, but even when they began cleaning up for the evening and all the other guests were leaving, they did not chase us out the door. Altogether a very pleasant evening. I can't speak about the wine as I was driving and did not indulge, but my friends seemed to really like what they ordered.

We met old friends at Soigne and had a really nice evening. Our meals ranged from good to outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the charcuterie and the artichoke appetizer and the beef tenderloin was pefect. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the dining room was comfortable. We will definitely return to Soigne.

My wife and I had a romantic post-Valentine's Day dinner at Soigne Restaurant. The restaurant was welcoming, with a very attentive and conscientious waiter who managed to keep everyone in the restaurant happy. I ordered the special $30 dinner - a very good deal - and we both enjoyed what we ate, especially the burrata salad and tasty mushroom risotto. We also found the cocktails we ordered to be distinctive and imaginative. We'll definitely return.

It was a friends get together on a Saturday night and this is the only restaurant in the neighborhood that had a table for 8 people that evening.
I've read lots of reviews prior to making reservations and browsed the menu. It looked interesting...
The place has a nice ambiance, great wine selection and good service. The food is somewhat creative but not exactly superb. Crab cakes were not tasty and the bone marrow (which was suppose to be the "star") was not as good as in other places. Main dished were a bit on a sweet side. However, we had a nice time, drank a few bottles of good wine and had a pleasant evening. Perhaps it is best to come there for wine and a cheese plate (great selection of cheeses and charcuterie)

We've lived near Soigne for over a year now and I can't believe we didn't visit sooner. The food was wonderful, from the bread at the beginning to the chocolate bite at the end.

Definitely recommend the wine flight -- great value and delicious wines.

I had made a reservation a week earlier at this restaurant and when we arrived it was completely empty. It was a Thursday night at 9:00, but still I was surprised that no one was there for a drink. This was a special occasion and my family and I were celebrating with wine and cheese. The food was great, but we were rushed out of the restaurant extremely fast. Our waiter told us that normally he would be leaving and going home right now, which was very rude. He barely gave us a minute to look over the menu and we could hear him and the cooks in the back swearing about us (I lost track of the amount of f- bombs dropped). I was so shocked by this behavior as we came in with good attitudes and were very polite to the waiter. We even apologized for making a reservation at 9pm which we shouldn't have to apologize for as it was offered on OpenTable. This was a terrible way to end what should have been a day of celebration and fun. We stayed a little over an hour before being so disgusted with the behavior that we had to leave.

I've had better meals at Soigne before, the presentation was a little messy and the food was not as well prepared as prior dining experiences. The polenta was clumpy and drowning in cream and the chicken overly salted. This won't deter me from eating here again but I think they could have given a greater effort in preparing their meals, especially since it wasn't even that busy when we arrived.

Definitely everyday or lunch dining. Server took upon himself the full interpretation of "casual dining," such as yelling/carrying on conversation with one table over while serving us a couple of times, fresh pepper requested was stamped on the table for us, and constant referral to us as "you guys." Very casual bar meal at best or consider it a small step up from pub food and service. Salmon was over salted. Convenient location--however Mariella across the street has optimal service, atmosphere and food.

Our waitress was lovely. The bartender, who doubles as the host, was sort of unfriendly. But the main problem with this place is that the food isn't up to the prices. I think they're aiming too high. Their dishes are too complicated. And there is this odd disjunct between the restaurant's decor, and its servers, and its aspirations: the decor isn't pretentious (which I liked), nor are the servers, but whoever runs the restaurant *is* pretentious, so as you are sitting in this place that looks like the kind of decent Italian restaurant from the 80s that your parents would have gone to on a date when you were little and money was tight, the poor servers have to do things like announce that you are going to receive an "amuse-bouche," "compliments of the house," when what they really mean is they're going to give you a bread basket, except that it will all be in miniature and on a plate instead of in a basket.
