SoHo Park - Downtown
We had a beautiful casual lunch on a rainy Monday. The interior is done up completely like a garden, so even though it was gloomy outside, we still felt almost like we were outside in the Spring or Summer. Very unique environment. Add the all day happy hour and cheap Aperol Sprintz, and it was a perfect little break in the day. Nice people watching on better weather days through the glass front too.
Really great burgers and friendly service. Absolutely amazing ambiance that makes you forget that it's winter, full garden-mode inside, with lots of cute plants and even trees, park benches, hanging lights, and French windows overlooking the corner. This place would be worth it just for the ambiance, but the food is also good too!
Serve-yourself dining. Convenient location. Underwhelming experience and the staff is not warm.
Beautiful place on a busy corner in Soho. The entirely glass front makes for great people watching as you sit in the comfort of a beautiful indoor garden environment and watch the world pass by outside. It's cold outside, but inside they have a ton of plants, natural light, and even two small trees. Food is good American comfort food and not expensive at all for what you get.
I love the prices, vibe, and food here. Very casual and friendly environment in an otherwise fancy and expensive part of Manhattan. They also have some of the best burgers in the city. I got mine with bacon and it was absolutely amazing. Great happy hour specials that they run all day, even on weekends and nights. Mojitos were great.
I just had one of the best steak sandwiches ever. So glad I found this place. Reasonable prices, lots of flexible seating arrangements, and a staff that is very accommodating for larger groups. And to top it off they have an all day happy hour every day, in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the country. Amazing deal overall.
Cool spot to get a great burger and interesting fried items. We especially enjoyed the fried pickles, which is something neither of us had before. The burger was also really good. Think Shake Shack but less fast foody. There is a full bar for those who want to get a drink along with their food, which is really nice.
Amazing atmosphere, good prices for NY, but the food is meh.
This is a fun place with a really attractive winter garden facing busy Prince Street. The interior of the restaurant has festive plants and trees with lighting everywhere and glass walls, it's very pleasant and you forget that it's cold outside when you are here. Food was good and very well priced for an expensive neighborhood.
One of the best burgers I've ever had! Great all day happy hour too, I enjoyed my mojito looking out at the people walking by in Soho, from the covered garden right on the street. Excellent option for groups and for those looking for something cheap in Soho.
My daughter loved the cheerful ambiance and delicious Belgian fries (with interesting dipping sauces) here, and I enjoyed the all day happy hour with some house drafts. Fun to watch the world go by through the open glass doors that surround the restaurant. Service was polite, friendly, and casual. We never felt rushed to leave.
Beautiful restaurant with great prices. While everywhere else was slow on this rainy day, Soho Park was buzzing, which is a testament to the value proposition here. You get one of the most attractive casual restaurants I have seen in NYC, with basically fast food prices. Great all day happy hour, delicious food, amazing people watching.
Amazing burgers in an adorable garden setting, right in the middle of Soho on a busy corner. We saw a lot of outdoor seating, but chose the inside today because of the rain. Even the inside felt like you were outside though, with folding open French doors overlooking the Soho sidewalks, flowers, plants, and skylights everywhere. There is a full bar selling very good mojitos at discounted prices the whole day.
Stumbled on this place while shopping in Soho and decided to come back. There is a fun very casual vibe here, with a lot of Halloween decorations and an interior design theme which is based around a park or garden. Plants, flowers, park bench banquettes.. the overall vibe is totally unlike stuck-up places which tend to dominate this part of the city unfortunately.
Great location and surprisingly good food. This is like what you would get if you crossed Shake Shack with a beer garden, and put it on a busy corner in Soho. The burgers here are excellent, maybe the best that I ever had. There's an all-day happy hour which is great. And the restaurant just looks really cheerful and cute.
This had to be the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Our server only showed up when my friend got up to see what was going on. My well done eggs arrived runny, cold potatoes, the server refilled my friends coffee and never asked if I would like more..I paid with a $100 bill and was given 3 twenties back. I went to the rest room and my friend walked over to the server and said something about no small bills with the change. She flat out told her that we can’t tip you without small bills.. it just goes on and on.. never again!
Typical bar food. I'm not sure why this restaurant got so many great reviews because the food and drink were just okay. I would not go out of my way to eat here again.
Great ambiance, food was really delicious and service perfect. Great exoerience
Friendly staff and open and casual about reservations and group sizes, bringing kids, and even moving tables around. The food is really good, the environment is excellent, and you can't beat the prices and all day drink specials they run. If you are in Soho and looking for a beautiful casual place for lunch or dinner, this is a must go.
I came here for kind of a pre-birthday meal and had a great time. The staff were very accommodating and nice, the food was great, and they let us bring our own cake without any fee. Lots of seating and very pleasant garden feel, even indoors and on a cloudy day.
Great burgers here, that really rival anywhere else in the city. The unique thing is that on top of the great burgers, there is a full bar and beautiful seating. It's hard to describe what this place is, they have a burger and grilled meat menu, but they look like an indoor-outdoor park or garden. Overall it's very unique and well-priced for Soho.
Awesome cafe and beer garden type place on a corner location, with an outdoor patio and indoor seating that is done up like a greenhouse or garden. Very airy and open, even inside. There's an all-day happy hour which is a great deal. Amazing happy hour mojitos!
My toddler son loves the burgers and Belgian fries here at Soho Park. The entire staff has always been friendly, and seem like they like kids and don't mind having them around, unlike many other places in the city. There is a full bar so that I can get a beer or cocktail while we eat, outside if the weather is nice and inside in the greenhouse setting if it's chilly. All day happy hour is a great perk too.
The thing to remember about this spot is that it is casual. Don't expect to get a Michelin starred experience here. But that being said, for a casual place, this restaurant is very good. The food is delicious, and they obviously make it to order using fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is amazing for the casual nature of the restuarant. Service is friendly and prompt. Overall this is an amazing deal in Soho.
Very nice service! I came here and had a delicious burger. After I left, I realized that I forgot my wallet, and coming back, was very relieved that the staff had set it aside and gave it back to me, with everything still inside. I'm glad there is still honesty like this in New York City. The restaurant itself is excellent, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone.
Super nice place that doesn't break your bank. Soho Park is located on a corner, if I remember correctly of Prince Street and Lafayette Street in Soho. One one side, they have sidewalk seats, and on the other side, they have a beautiful garden facing the street. There is also a large indoor area where they fold open all their glass doors if the weather is nice. Absoluutely beautiful setting, with great prices and a happy hour that runs all day and every day according to our server.
Soho Park is a great neighborhood standby. They've been here for as long as I can remember, more than 10 years, while other places come and go. I think that's because of the wonderful ambiance, combined with surprisingly good food, and really good prices. This is one of the cheapest places to eat and drink in the neighborhood, but has some of the best people watching and garden decor around.
One of my go-to places if I'm bringing people from out of town. There's ample seating, the staff are very flexible about moving furniture around to accomodate you, and the prices and environment are frankly amazing for being in maybe the top 10 expensive neighborhoods in the country. Great deal, and I can definitely recommend it for casual dining and drinking.
Came here on a friend's recommendation and had a great time. Casual yet elegant ambiance, and absolutely delicious breakfast on offer at a great price. Maybe the best kept secret in downtown Manhattan. If the weather is nice, there is a beautiful flower filled patio right on Prince Street, as well as sidewalk seating on Lafayette Street. If it's a bit chilly, there is a great interior seating area with floor-to-ceiling windows and a greenhouse decor, so you almost feel like you are sitting outside even though you are inside.
I work in the area and love coming here. Friendly staff without any attitude or fuss, lots of seating for groups, and you never feel pushed to finish or leave. Very unique for the wonderful location in the middle of Soho. The burgers and grilled meats are some of the best around, at fast food prices, and there is a full bar with happy hour all day 7 days a week.
55 degrees outside and the waitress/management refused to close the doors and windows. Every door and window was wide open. After persistently asking they closed two doors but would not close remainder despite the cold and losing customers due to the cold. Had a reservation for 10 people and ended up leaving due to poor service. Sat there waiting for 30 minutes for my counter parts to arrive and waitress never came over to take order for coffee or beverage.
Stumbled on this restaurant walking around Soho, and came back to have a great hamburger and fried pickles with a happy hour beer. It's on a crowded corner in soho, with a lot of outdoor seats and indoor seats by windows, so very good for seeing the crowds in NY.
Very convenient for groups! Our group was late to arrive, but seating was still held for us, and we enjoyed the nice atmosphere and delicious food. Casual and affordable.
This is a fun, casual place that is like a cross between a cafe, beer garden, and burger restaurant. It sounds strange, but works out in practice. There's a full bar serving drinks on happy hour all day, a full coffee menu, and an indoor-outdoor vibe where even the interior is done up like outside. And the burgers are actually very good. Cool place!
Love the beautiful vibe and great prices. Wonderful deal in an expensive part of town. Best part is the staff never rushes you out, so you can take time to people watch as much as you want.
One of the cutest places around, plus an all day happy hour. It's unusual in that it's kind of a beer garden burger spot hybrid, but the combination works well and the location and people watching are excellent.
Love the greenhouse vibe here. Feels outdoors even indoors with rain falling outside. Food is good and cheap for the digs and neighborhood.
Great place, delicious food. Burgers and kielbasa are some of the best in the city. Try the dipping sauces that come with any of the fried items. Really unique.
Finally got around to checking this place out, on a rainy and cold day. The burger was really good, I had mine with bacon, which was super fresh and real bacon, not like you get at even the fancier fast food places like Five Guys or Shake Shack. As other people have said, the interior decor is really nice, especially for what you pay. Even on a rainy day sitting inside, it almost felt like I was outside, with the floor to ceiling french windows, skylights, potted palms, flowers, and ivy on the walls. Not to mention the park/garden furniture even indoors.
Came in for an early working lunch, and couldn't be happier with this place. Super casual and very pleasant, with a beer garden feel but a full menu centered on burgers, grilled meats, and comfort food. Fast food level prices for literally one of the nicest ambiances in all of downtown Manhattan. great deal.
