SoHo Park - Hell's Kitchen
SoHo Park features casual American Cuisine, all-day Breakfast and Brunch, a morning to 8pm Happy Hour, and a full line-up of beer, wine and specialty cocktails, all served in a warm, contemporary, garden-like atmosphere.
With three floors, two full bars, and an outdoor beer garden patio, SoHo Park offers guests a wide variety of options when planning special functions and get togethers.
Server was good but the food and venue aren’t that great.
A real gem in the neighborhood. The servers and bussers are sweet, the food is great, and the environment is really nice and spacious for the amount that you pay. There are three floors of seating, including two bars, a beautiful winter garden / covered outdoor patio, and lounge. So there really is something for everyone, and because of the three floors, we can be pretty sure about finding a table for any sized group pretty much anytime.
A coworker often comes here and recommended the breakfasts, so a few of us decided to try Soho Park out today. To make a long story short, we wish we had discovered this place earlier! The breakfast menu is delicious and surprisingly cheap, and the staff is very accommodating about seating and sound volume requests. This will definitely be one of our to-go places for working breakfasts and lunches from now on!
Solid food, good burger and fries. Can't complain about the service, overall would recommend but wouldn't necessarily go back again and again
Really cool that this place offers all day breakfast. So for late lunch, we had a very good French Toast and an absolutely delicious croissant sandwich with a hash brown on the side. Priced like a diner and with a welcoming all day happy hour sign outside, the food quality and decor are definitely a step up for what you pay.
Nice place with a friendly staff and a great all-day happy hour. We stopped by for a late lunch and very much enjoyed our meal. The smokehouse burger and the bacon-brie burger were to die for, really some of the best burgers we have ever had. Nice cute interior too.
We had a larger group so we were really glad to find Soho Park. A ton of seating and a nice vibe, very friendly on our wallets, and with a staff that moved around tables and changed the music just for us. Food was tasty and quality. Great place to celebrate and have a great meal. There are three floors and each one has a different feel, but for us, we loved the winter garden they have on the 2nd floor.
We went there for Sunday brunch. The server was very nice and the food was good. I have dietary restrictions and they were accommodating. The restaurant had other customers but it was not crowded (which I like).
Unfortunately, the music was insanely loud. It was painful and we had to shout to be heard. I requested that they turn the music down multiple times. The first time I got an eye roll. The second time there was a small adjustment made but over the next 10 minutes the guy operating the volume clearly turned it back up. Then we simply got ignored. It was pretty upsetting.
Delicious food that is also affordable! This is not a common combination in Midtown Manhattan, which makes Soho Park a definite recommendation on my part. A lot of seating too, so I doubt one would have to worry about getting a reservation even during a busy day like today.
Pleasant surprise coming here from a coworker's recommendation. The brunch here is really good. No attitude, polite service, easy to get seats because of the three floors of space, nice ambiance, and most important of all the food is really good. Chicken & waffles were excellent as was the French Toast with berry preserves.
We had an enjoyable meal in a very attractive environment here at Soho Park. Food was good and very well priced, service was friendly, and we never felt rushed even though they were pretty busy. Will definitely come again.
Nice breakfast! Came in the morning and were seated promptly in the 2nd floor. This is a 3 floor restaurant, but each floor having a different feeling and not being especially big, so the restaurant still manages to feel cozy. The 2nd floor has an absolutely beautiful covered outdoor patio in the back, which is a great treat in the winter. The breakfast itself was tasty and high quality. We definitely enjoyed our morning.
Portions were small eggs were ordered over medium they were over hard scrambled eggs were well done a small piece of toast not even two slices would not return there
Great all day breakfast/brunch menu, along with gourmet burgers and lobster rolls and stuff like that. Lots of seating for larger groups, we saw one there while we were dining. The staff was sweet, and everyone in our party liked what they ordered. The chicken & waffles and croissant sandwich were agreed to be standouts. If you are in the Theater District this is a good choice for a nice meal that won't break your bank.
Casual and relaxed place with three floors of seating and two bars. There is a beautiful winter garden on the 2nd floor. You can't see it from the street, but when you walk up the stairs it's really nice, with hanging lights and glass walls. You can almost forget that it's a cold gloomy day outside. Very inexpensive for the quality of the food and decor.
Came here on an early Saturday morning and had a great breakfast. My French Toast was really good. It came with a raspberry sauce, as well as a cinnamon cream and maple syrup. Everything looked made to order and tasted delicious. Cute interior that helps you forget about the bad weather outside.
Surprisingly good food only one block from Times Square, priced very reasonably. This area is not exactly a foodie paradise, but Soho Park is definitely an exception to that rule. Good quality comfort food that is also affordable. Love the interior design and the service was friendly and not at all pushy when I was there.
The service was not very good
This is my new favorite casual restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. Friendly staff, great prices, and a really nice ambiance with hints of the name Soho Park everywhere. I mean there are a lot of plants and flowers, so that you can momentarily forget that it is winter outside. The all day breakfast menu we ordered from was just excellent.
Real hidden gem with tasty food and lots of seats spread out over three surprisingly cozy floors. Staff are flexible and didn't mind that members of our group were arriving late, and even let us change the volume of music where we were sitting. Food was uniformly good and not expensive for what you get. Great place for groups and for those that like American comfort food.
Love the casual yet fancy vibe here, as well as that the prices are very competitive for Midtown. We paid the same here (or less) than we would pay in the greasy spoon diners all around, although the food here was made to order, delicious, and used great ingredients. The environment is also a definite step up for what they charge. Great value.
Pleasant surprise on a hungover New Year's morning. The restaurant was pretty busy, but the server took care of our table just fine. We ordered from the all day breakfast menu, the pancakes and also the lumberjack breakfast. Both were very good, and we were happy that the bill was not too much at the end of the meal.
Excellent restaurant and bar that is very flexible about groups and seating. The staff was very helpful with our seating arrangements, and overall we had a great meal. Inexpensively priced, tasty food, good service, and low prices for Manhattan. You can't beat this place for a casual meal in this part of the city.
Walked by Soho Park and decided to come back in the morning. Everything from the ambiance to the food to the service was very good. Especially the food, which was all delicious and freshly made. The inside is cute, with a lot of decorations and plants. There is a large amount of seating, so I think this is a good choice for larger groups too.
If you like a traditional style American breakfast and don't want to break your bank in midtown Manhattan, Soho Park is one of the best choices around. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices here are a like a diner, but the food and decor are so much nicer. 1st floor is very cozy, and the 2nd floor has a beautiful covered and heated outdoor patio, as well as a nice indoor space as well.
Were recommended here by a coworker and decided to check it out for brunch. Overall we had an excellent meal, and can in turn recommend Soho Park to anyone. Our brunch items were all delicious, the steak and eggs, the croissant sandwich, and all the side items we had. Very affordable and conveniently located too.
Really cute place with a lot of Chritmas decorations, three floors of seating, and two bars. There's also a winter garden area on the 2nd floor in the back, which is very beautiuful. The food was great, American comfort food breakfast, and a lot cheaper than a similar restaurant usually is. Great deal.
Hidden gem right in plain sight. Just off the corner of 50th Street on 8th Avenue, Soho Park was a welcome surprise. No lines, lots of seats, friendly staff who didn't mind that some of our party was arriving late, and best of all, freshly made and tasty food. Very reasonable prices for this part of the city.
I live nearby and am a regular customer. Soho Park is probably my favorite new restaurant and bar in the area. The food is always good, (especially the burgers which are amazing), there's an all-day happy hour, and as another benefit, there is a lot of seating spread out over 3 floors, so that I always know I can make a last minute reservation for my group when I drop by. Favorite spot is the beautiful covered patio garden on the 2nd floor. If you can swing a seat there you will be glad you did.
Super relaxed spot with a gorgeous winter garden on the 2nd floor. The food is great, especially their all-day breakfast menu, which is a nice perk to have. So whether you visit in the morning or night, I definitely recommend the breakfast croissant sandwich or French Toast! Oh, they have an all-day happy hour too, which is amazing this time of year when there are few discounts to be found, at least in Midtown.
This restaurant seems like it's known for its all day breakfast and brunch menu, and our orders at least were made to order, fresh, and excellent. The environment and interior design is airy, pleasant and full of holiday decorations. There is background music but it's not loud, so it doesn't get in the way of casual conversation. There is a lot of seating and the staff is good about moving tables and chairs around to meet your needs.
One of my go to places for delicious comfort food at a reasonable price. Nice ambiance that is definitely a step up from what you would get for a similar amount of money elsewhere in the city. The all day breakfast especially is great. Try the chicken & waffles, they are absolutely excellent.
Went in and let another group go in front. Finally sat us down and tried to stick us into a corner we didn’t want to be there and the server was rude. We had to ask for a menu and the menu looked old and gross. We finally decided to leave before ordering.
I was glad I could find a reservation for my group, but didn't know what to expect when coming here. First of all, this is a 3 floor space. So there seems like there will always be available seating, even if the restaurant is somewhat bustling like when we were there on a Monday before Christmas. If you have a choice, I recommend getting seats in the 2nd floor winter garden / covered patio, which is very beautiful. The food all ranged from good to great, with the chicken waffles and smokehouse bbq burger as the big standouts. Prices are not bad at all for NY. Think diner prices but with better food and a better atmosphere.
We made a last-minute reservation here on a whim, because we had never been here before, but absolutely loved everything. Friendly staff, gardeny environment in the middle of winter, ambient music but not too loud, and most of all, really good breakfast food. Our French Toast with raspberry preserves and breakfast croissant sandwich were both excellent. The croissant sandwich was probably the best I ever had in my life. So we can definitely recommend this place for a casual breakfast or brunch.
We came here for a late breakfast and found this restuarant quite lively on a Monday. There is an extensive American-style breakfast menu, and everything that we had was good. I especially liked the chicken & waffles, which had really delicious chicken cutlets and home made waffles. Great prices and nice service that didn't make you feel rushed.
Lovely and inexpensive place for a tasty breakfast and or lunch. There is an all day breakfast menu which is a great touch for those that want pancakes or a croissant sandwich at all hours. And there is also an all day happy hour, which is great too. Nice deal very close to Times Square.
Strange experience seated at a low table at a sofa and then some chairs too tall for the table, in the 3rd floor event space. There was nobody else there until the end a DJ and big group took over. Service was a mess because we were forgotten up there and the food was just meh. I’d rent that space for a private party but don’t recommend for dinner.
Beautiful restaurant with great prices. Check out the winter garden on the 2nd floor, it's like a covered roof deck with twinkling lights and holiday decorations and a great place for a meal and drinks. This is a multifloor restaurant, so although each of the floors isn't too big, there is a lot of seating spread out, making it highly likely that you can take a table even for larger groups. Food was American comfort food, and everything we had was great. Nice deal in Midtown.
Nice place for a pleasant breakfast. We ordered the pancakes and the lumberjack breakfast. Both were excellent. Pancakes were light and fluffy and were clearly home made. The lumberjack breakfast had a nice variety of items and made for a very filling meal to start the day. Solid choice in midtown west.
