SoHo Park - Hell's Kitchen
SoHo Park features casual American Cuisine, all-day Breakfast and Brunch, a morning to 8pm Happy Hour, and a full line-up of beer, wine and specialty cocktails, all served in a warm, contemporary, garden-like atmosphere.
With three floors, two full bars, and an outdoor beer garden patio, SoHo Park offers guests a wide variety of options when planning special functions and get togethers.
Beautiful yet affordable place, especially the 2nd floor which has an amazing winter garden in the back. Comfort food American menu with something for everyone (at least in our group), with prices that are like what you will find in the diners in midtown. All day happy hour also hits the spot. We had the Soho Park draft which was great.
We had the best bbq burger and steak and eggs here today! It's cool that they offer an all-day breakfast menu throughout the day. The burger was with a bourbon-based bbq sauce, and a big fat onion ring as a topping. I can definitely recommend that one. Cute place and lots of seating if you are with a group.
Some of the best French Toast and Chicken and Waffles you will find at an affordable price in the entire city. French Toast came with cinnamon cream and berry preserves, along with the usual maple syrup. Chicken and Waffles had home made waffles and breaded fried chicken. I like the seasonal decorations here and there is always plenty of space.
This spot is great for breakfast. Every time I come the food is delicious, the staff is nice and without attitude, and the check at the end of the meal is less than I would get at most other places around here. If you like breakfast, do yourself a favor and check Soho Park out. They serve breakfast all day so you don't even need to come in the morning lol.
Fun and casual place for brunch on a weekend morning. Our server was very polite and friendly, I forgot her name but she was taking care of us on the 2nd floor. There are three floors here, all different from one another. We enjoyed our brunch entrees, as well as pitchers of rum punch, which were excellent. Nice music too. Overall this is a good deal right off of Times Square, and in the middle of the Theater District.
We had a great brunch here with a party of people that ended up being larger than we originally reserved for. The staff were very nice on a Sunday morning and made sure all of us were seated together on the 2nd floor, which has a beautiful covered garden in the back with hanging lights and plants. Everything we ordered was good, I personally really liked my chicken and waffles. The chicken was well-breaded and perfectly cooked, and the waffles were home made. Prices were really good for the area and for the quality of the food and environment.
Why bother taking reservations? I made reservations here because we were going to a show at the New World Theater down the block. We wanted a quick bite, nothing special.
First off have you ever heard of waiting at a podium for ten minutes for the hostess? We were second in line. She finally shows up and brings the first party to their table. Then she disappears again. She knew we were waiting and she actually saw us standing there but went to do another chore. When she finally comes back she tries to stick us at a table which is just there by the door. Where you would put a walk in. After we refused to sit there we were brought to the second floor. A bunch of tables available so I don’t get it.
I’m not one to complain but the place is shabby for the prices they charge. Tiles ripped off the stairs. The burgers are not cheap and don’t come with a side of fries. How much do a few French fries cost?
Next time I’ll just plan on eating earlier and not worry being close to the theater. Such a shame because it’s in a good location.
Had a simple brunch items. Service and food were good. Was walking distance to theaters but not overly cramped. The hash browns were the best ones I have ever had. Very clean restrooms which is rare in NYC.
One of the better looking restaurants on 9th Avenue and in the Theater District. They have a beautiful covered winter garden on the 2nd floor, a lot of space for parties and events, and the staff are very accommodating and polite regarding requests. Food is good, and also a good value, especially the brunches and the burger menu.
This is a great restaurant if you have a group you need a lot of seats. The food is consistently good, the ambiance is cute and gardeny, and there is a lot of seating spread out over three floors, so you can be pretty sure they have space for you.
Soho Park has really great burgers so if you're around and are in the mood for a burger, this is a good place for you. The prices are not high, the burgers are pretty big (but not huge), with good quality meat from a famous local butcher called Pat Lafrieda, and interesting and inventive toppings. The atmosphere is nice too, overall it's a really awesome place where you get a lot for your money.
Very reliable spot near Times Square for some delicious food that won't break your bank. I come here regularly and love all their breakfast and brunch menu entrees, which they make the entire day from morning to night. It's fun to come in for drinks and get chicken & waffles or French Toast.
Nice spot for breakfast and lunch. They serve an excellent all-day breakfast menu here, in addition to very good burgers and fried items. The interior decor is nice and this is one of the better done places in the area. Prices are very reasonable, almost diner-esque. Try to get a seat on the 2nd floor, it's the nicest part of the restaurant, with a beautiful covered patio in the back, perfect for this time of year.
I love the garden theme here, and the winter garden on the 2nd floor is absolutely beautiful. Food was quite good, better than I expected in what is kind of a tourist area. Really neat that they offer breakfast and brunch all day from opening to close. If you are in Times Square, this is definitely a good choice for an inexpensive meal.
Great burger and fried pickles! In fact one of the best burgers I've ever had. I've never had fried pickles before, but enjoyed the ones I got here. They were cut in thin slices, and had a really interesting taste that I definitely want to get again. Pleasant looking restaurant with a lot of seating, so you can be sure to get a table no matter how large your group.
Had a great breakfast here. If you like a classic American style breakfast at great prices, Soho Park is definitely a good choice. I like the vibe they have with the modern but casual and kind of gardeny interior decor, and the service was polite and without attitude. I stayed as long as I liked, and didn't feel rushed to leave, which is nice.
We stumbled upon this place initially but now we come regularly. The reason I like here is the value - the menu is priced like a diner but the food quality is so much better. Food is always made fresh to order, and the ingredients seem quite good. The environment is also really nice for the price. There's a covered garden in the back, two full bars, TVs playing ESPN, all day happy hour, overall it's just a good vibe and value.
Very pleasant staff took care of us, even though a member of our party came very late. This is a 3 floor restaurant, so even if it is busy, you can be pretty sure about finding a table. Each floor is not so big, so the restaurant has a lot of seating, but is cozy as well. Not expensive at all, especially for what you get. One of the best deals in this part of the city.
Great lunch and happy hour drinks at Soho Park. We love the burgers here, as well as their Belgian fries and other interesting fried items like Southern Fried Pickles and their unique onion rings. Come with great dipping sauces too. Surprisingly cheap for one block from Times Square, and very polite and helpful staff.
Really cute place on 8th Avenue. There's a lot of light from all the French doors and the winter garden patio in the back. Food was good and pretty inexpensive. Our favorite was the breakfast croissant sandwich with hash brown, which is part of their all day breakfast offering. There's a ton of seating spread out over three very different floors, with an elevator if you don't feel like climbing the stairs.
I wanted to love this place based on the photos and menu from website. Service, eh. Food, eh. Cheese fries with bacon good. Hot food came out at least 5 minutes before lobster roll, which is cold. Ordered soups and meals, brought everything at same time. Chopped salad was disappointing. Those are not crispy chickpeas. Would not return.
Just that they did not register us as having kept our OpenTable appointment and had to correct after getting a no-show email. Otherwise good food and good service. 2nd floor and Patio are better ambiance in general. First floor seating and chairs not comfortable, so opted for the bar.
Delicious early brunch, with maybe the best French Toast I had in NY! Rasperry puree and cinnamon cream on top, absolutely delicious. Casual indoor garden vibe even on a cold day outside, friendly staff, and a lot of seating so we had no trouble getting seated for our larger group.
We had a great chicken & waffles and American breakfast here. Cute place, and a nice stop for brunch if you are in the area. We made a reservation but this is kind of a large place so there were plenty of open seats available. Food was priced very competitively and the environment was really cute. Surprised there's such a good deal near Times Square.
The most amazing breakfast croissant sandwich and bacon brie burger! This place was quite busy but we got a reservation just 10 minutes in advance, and were taken straight to our table. 3 floors so lots of seats, but each floor is not too big so it also feels cozy. Staff are international, friendly, and no-attitude, which is a nice change in New York City.
Dependable option for brunch without breaking your bank. Food has always been good here, the staff are nice and casual in a good way, and the ambiance is really nice for what you pay. One of the best deals in the neighborhood and really in all of Midtown. Nice music too.
The place was okay. The food came out piping hot and there wasn’t much of a wait for it so that was a plus. The place had a close time of 1:30am, but around 9:30pm it seemed like we were being rushed out. Some guys even came out and start spraying cleaning chemicals and moving away tables to spray foam or sealant into various areas of the brick wall. It was just really weird at that point so we left.
Pleasant environment and competitively priced American comfort food on offer. Take your pick from burgers to brunch to lobster rolls. We ordered from the all day brunch menu and enjoyed everything we had. In particular the croissant sandwich with a hash on the side was very good.
Came here with a small group and couldn't be happier with the choice. Polite staff and delicious comfort food. While here I took the liberty of looking around the place, and it's three floors each with a different feeling. 2nd floor is nicest, with a backyard terrace covered with translucent glass for the winter.
Lovely choice for an inexpensive and delicious meal. I always enjoy the breakfasts here, and their happy hour is great for after work. They are among the only places in this area that run the happy hour the entire day until pretty late, so if you want a beer with your all day breakfast for burger, this is a good place to get it. Nice seasonal decorations too.
Best new restaurant and bar in the Theater District area! There's a great all-day breakfast, amazing burgers, friendly staff, and a huge beer-gardenesque space with three floors, including a beautiful 2nd floor covered patio. You can't beat it if you are anywhere near Times Square.
Great somewhat hidden local place with consistently good food at a reasonable price, a great happy hour, and lots of seating and seating areas if you are coming with a group. The best of the restaurant is probably the 2nd floor, which has a beautiful patio covered for the winter. Food to try is definitely from the all day breakfast menu and the burgers, which are excellent.
We had a lovely breakfast here as we often do. One of the better restaurants on 8th Avenue in terms of food quality and the menu prices. Nice interior too, especially the winter garden on the 2nd floor. 2 bars if you want to take advantage of the all day happy hour. Service is polite and don't rush you, which is nice.
Great place for a drink after work or a lunch. Food and drink prices are very good, especially with their all-day happy hour, and the ambiance is a lot nicer than you would get at similarly expensive diners in the same area. Overall this a great deal. Food is great, lots of seats, great prices. Check out the winter garden on the 2nd floor if you have the chance.
Nice option to have in a tourist dominated area. You can always could on finding some locals or NY people here, and the all-day breakfast is out of this world. Great food, not expensive, and actually a nice environment with three floors and two bars, plus a covered garden perfect for this time of year.
The waffles were very good. The rest of our dishes were good, nothing outstanding but a good solid choice for brunch or lunch all day.
Soho Park is a great option for brunch if you find yourself in this part of town. Everything we ordered was really good (especially the croissant sandwich with hash brown), and the restaurant is lively and crowded on a weekend, but still with free seats because they have three floors of space. Each floor isn't so huge though, so it still manages to feel cozy.
I love the burgers here. They are some of the best in Midtown and maybe in the whole city. If you are a burger fan, do yourself a favor and get the bacon-brie or bourbon BBQ burgers here, with a side of friend pickles and dipping sauces. Absolutely delicious. Friendly and polite service.
Glad we found this spot on 8th Avenue. Super friendly staff early in the morning, and delicious food all around. They don't charge much at all by Manhattan standards, and you definitely get a lot for your money here. Nice seasonal decorations, and also a really nice covered outdoor area in the back on the 2nd floor I think.
Amazing chicken and waffles. I could come here every day and get that. They also serve up an all-day breakfast, so you can get it anytime you stop by. They run brunch parties on weekends that are really fun, with pitchers of rum punch and a good DJ playing. Glad I made the trip down here for brunch.
