It was the perfect chill date dinner
Sea bass for my wife, elk tenderloin for me. The meals with the accompaniments were very very good. Service was friendly. The prices seem to me to be about 10% too high. But will still plan to return
Excellent food! The service was impeccable!!! We truly enjoyed our first visit to SOHO and will return again soon!
We have always enjoyed our meals here. Looking forward to Sunday lobster nights in April.
My husband and I returned to SOHO for a pre-show dinner after our first fabulous experience with SOHO. Our previous visit, we were desperate for a pre-show dinner, having failed to make reservations on a Saturday night, and *shocker* everyone was booked up. SOHO was very gracious to us, gave us a quiet table, and helped us make our show.
Our second time to SOHO (current review) we had enough forethought to make a reservation. They seated us at a quiet table on the patio, which had large windows the staff would open to allow the breeze inside. The weather was perfect and so was the food. My husband and I both ordered cocktails, an appetizer, and full entrees. The staff was friendly and gracious, not imposing but never far away. I highly recommend the apple sausage ravioli for dinner!
SOHO is a perfect restaurant for a date night, or pre-show dinner. It's right next to the Cobb Energy Center, making it very convenient.
Mussels are a great appetizer- tomato based and slightly hot. The calamari is also very good.
The beef ribs are one of my favorites. The service is very good. It’s just a nice neighborhood restaurant.
We enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. Nice ambiance and very convenient to Cobb Energy Center. I recommend it!
The food was great! Be sure to try the Cheese Board. The peach and honey complemented the cheese nicely. Short ribs are super tender. Scallops and risotto were phenomenal.
All around a great time with friends at a wonderful restaurant with excellent service!
Good food, good service. Our only complaint is that some of the dishes are overly salty. If they cut back on the sodium, we would’ve enjoyed it more. We’ve also been longtime patrons, and we feel that they’ve cut down the portion size on some dishes, especially the calamari. We do love the wine flights and pairings, the large wine menu, and the atmosphere though. Still loves Soho overall.
After a long work week, my wife and I made a spot decision early on Friday night to grab an early reservation, based on our recent excellent experiences. Soho did not disappoint. Superb service, perfect appetizers, varied, approachable and high value wine list, delicious scallop and sea bass entrees! Only to be topped off by sorbet and coffee drinks for dessert. Vibe was hopping, an exquisite Friday date night!!
Always great food
Lower rating due to my steak. They were out I got the last one and it seemed like a patch job it was overcooked it was dry and there are some something smothered across the top Which a good state doesn't need anything atop that part made me sad but they took very good care of us otherwise Management was attentive
Great food and excellent service!
My favorite neighborhood place for lunch or dinner! Service and food always the best!
The food and service was great! I always have a good experience when I come here
I have been frequenting this venue for years and it is my "go to" spot for anything dining-related.
What a let down. Looks cozy on the outside different story inside
Great quiet roomy table
Food great with exception of too spicy chicken tortilla soup
I had Ahi tuna. The blueberry sorbet was exceptional.
Our dinner, salmon and NY strip were very good. Both cooked perfectly; and appreciated subs on sides. Can't wait to return!
A lovely restaurant serving very delicious food. Service was first class.
Every trip to SoHo has been a true pleasure. The food is consistently outstanding and we love the super club vibe.
This place was a co-workers recommendation and was he spot on. The service was great, the food amazing and the outdoor seating is calming. I would go here again when visiting Atlanta.
For starters we had the calamari, the cheese board and the short rib tacos. All were very good. The short rib tacos came in a potato shell, which was different but highly complemented the short rib. For dinner, we had the Scottish Salmon, Sea bass and the Sea Scallops. The sides for most of us were the purple rice and cauliflower. I would highly recommend both. One of us also had the Grits which they thought were very good. We were impressed with how many scallops came on the dish. The seabass was one of the best fish I have ever had.
I will be coming back!
The Serivce was wonderful and good was excellent! I will be back! This is a great place for an upscale business lunch.
Prime Rib was excellent, service was terrific. We had a very enjoyable time
Food and service was great - we always enjoy Soho !!!
It's a little pricey, but the food and service were good.
Went with friends who had never been there for dinner. We all enjoyed it. It is a good, reliable spot that has a wide variety on their menu. So everyone can usually find something they like.
Great location and good ambiance. The food was excellent. The only shortfall was the service we received from our waitress. She didn't come by often enough and we had to ask several times to have our water and drinks refilled. The manager, however, did come by our table to check on us, which helped make up for our service.
Several people in our party said that they had been to SOHO before, and that the unattentive service we received was not typical for this restaurant. With that in mind, I would definitely return and give it another chance.
One of our favorites. We travel to get there but it is worth the trip. Food excellent and wait staff knowledgeable and friendly.
Waiter was excellent, food was good, little pricy for lunch.
The ambience was really good. But overall the food was not that great!!
My initial impression was not a good one as we were 15min early checking in with reservations. We were told they were seating closer to the reservation's time and to come back and check in. That was fine, except how it was presented to us. Maybe a better way to handle it is to say, "Thank you for the reservation,
your table is not quite ready, please have seat at the bar if you'd like and we'll have you seated soon." Now, I understand it was Valentine's Day and restaurants are trying to pack in the patrons, but we were placed at a table in a small space that did not seat five couples comfortably. The waiter and other patrons had to worry about bumping one another and/or knocking over something on the table. In addition, the food was disappointing considering the ratings for this restaurant. The appetizer, the oyster special we had didn't sit well with us, but decided to continue with the main course anyways. My husband had the snapper special and he thought it was just okay. I had the ribeye special. It had sounded wonderful when the waiter was describing it, but it was pretty bland. A good note, the ribeye was cooked a perfect medium rare. The spinach side was okay, but thought it was oversalted. The mac-n-cheese was just okay. Overall, we were disappointed with the food considering the ratings of this restaurant. On a good note, the one glass of wine & one cocktail and the waiter was great.
Great atmosphere for Valentine’s Day dinner. Really enjoyed the food and drink. The service was also fantastic. I would highly recommend SOHO.
I have eaten at SoHo on several occasions. I always enjoy the experience.
The best staff and food bar none. We had the ribeye that was unbelievable, staff was so nice, service was on top of every detail.
Best Valentine's day ever
My new favorite place to have a special or leisurely meal.
I expected the food to be better based on the review. For the price, not worth it. I was excited to get the elk tenderloin, but the one at Rathbun's is so much better that I was pretty disappointed. Also disappointed with the bread pudding. The server was nice, but he fumbled on the check pretty badly. I know this is the South, and I know nicer restaurants tend to do this traditionally, but I was paying for dinner (I'm a female) and he handed the check folder to my date WIDE OPEN and made it really awkward for everyone involved. I had left the card on the table, hoping that would be enough of a sign just to take it and go. Womp womp. So I had to listen to my date put up a stink about how expensive it was (it wasn't, but kind of screwed it up being a Valentine's Day gift).
Overall, just kind of meh on this place. Poor acoustics, a request to sit on the same side of the table was ignored in my request section on OpenTable (even though there were 4-person tables available the entire time we were there), food was delivered in a very flat and abrupt way by a food runner, and kind of weird "pop-in" from the manager who stuck his head in over my shoulder unexpectedly to check on us. They (the restaurant as a whole) were trying, but missed the mark over and over on a lot of little things. (Disclaimer: I worked in restaurants for a long time so I get that not everything can go perfectly, but this was too many flubs from all side.)
I won't be going back-- partly because I don't really frequent that area of town, but also I just was not impressed for the cost of the meal.
Great as usual! Love Soho!
Soho is a nice local restaurant. The bar is nicely laid out and the menu interesting. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food choice was excellent and tasted good. I had the crab cakes, excellent and my wife the mussels. Overall very good and recommended.
