   This Restaurant is our Go to place when we are in the area, the food here is exceptional the wine (House)Merlot is also good value for money great job Softleys

   We went as a couple for lunch on Saturday. Our table was upstais and it was a lovely environment. The service was brilliant. Attentive and just the right speed between courses. We chose from the set menu my partner had pork and I had shepherd's pie. Both were amazing. The dessert was lovely my partner choosing crepes and I had the crumble. Both were wonderful. The tea and coffee that we enjoyed afterwards were spot on and the wine list was good and the wine we chose was lovely. We will definitely be back.

   We had a lovely lunch from the set menu, staff were great, gave the right level of attention and willing to chat. Food was really good and portion size just right. The restaurant decor was lovely too. Will definitely go again.

   Outstanding. The food is beautiful along with 5 star service. Luke and the team are better than a 5 star hotel.

   The seasoning for the Duck Special, particularly the jus was very salty. Don't recall there was made mention on the menu that this dish and may be a couple of others also came with a bowl of mixed vegetables. Ambience was excellent as were the service.

   As always, we had a fantastic meal. The food, service and surroundings are superb. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.
