The lovely venue set in the market square. Friendly and welcoming with attentive staff. Our only disappointment was that the food was not as hot as we would have like. We appreciate it is difficult to keep things piping hot when ordering a brunch meal. Otherwise tasty and beautifully presented.

Our 2nd time as this fabulous restaurant, we were impressed the first time so we just had to go back and it certainly did not disappoint. Staff amazing, food amazing, went for our anniversary and so glad we did!

Lovely food all fresh ingredients, service was very good . Only fault was that bikers were coming through the restaurant to use the facilities . We felt this spoilt the ambience a little .

We’ve eaten here a few times and as usual it doesn’t disappoint. The staff are very friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is very nice and the service is always fantastic. The food is always top class and the service is amazing, I’d definitely recommend Softleys and the prices are very reasonable.

Taken my America nephew and wife for their very 1st afternoon tea. We were not disappointed. They thought it was beautiful. I must say the sandwiches were exceptional . So much food we brought some home. One thing I liked was the size of scones . Nice and dainty. All so often they are large and dry not Softley’s. Thank you all for making it a pleasant event.

Our first time eating at Softleys with our friends and it certainly lived up to all the reviews from other friends who have been before. The staff were all very attentive and service was perfectly timed. Two of us had pork belly, one the lamb and the other had seafood tagliatelle, all of which was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing, the same can be said of the starters and desserts. We will definitely be returning to Softleys.
