We really enjoyed the food and their home baked bread. We had two 2 courses dinner and one separate dish for our teenage daughter. Throughout the dinner, service was very attentive and good was delicious! We finished off with sticky date pudding which was so big and delicious ice cream. Highly recommended to try this restaurant when you visit Lakes Entrance.

I really wanted to love Sodafish and there was lots to love about it. The wait staff were excellent; attentive but not overbearing and their authentic personalities shone. Just delightful. The view is a killer and many hours could be spent gazing out onto the water with fishing boats moored in the foreground. Yet the food was a mixed bag. The mandarin fish ceviche was delightfully fresh and boned to perfection. The smoked fish croquettes were pleasant and had a delightful crunch and the brussels sprouts were beautifully cooked with a good bit of crispy burnt flavour. Then there was the fish pie. Sorry to say it was glug and tasted very much like the croquette filling. The pastry was great but basically the pie filling was just mush. At $40 per pie, I was hoping for so much more like some real chunks of snapper. This is a missed opportunity for Sodafish as a fish pie filling can be magnificent. We will give this restaurant another try but very warily, sadly.

We dines out of season at the end of May. The restaurant was quiet but the service and the food and the wine list was really good. We really enjoyes the experience and would recommend sodafish for those travelling through like us. If we lived closer we would be regulars!

My 2nd time. The food never disappoints. Fresh, perfectly cooked with amazing sauces, and presented well. The 3 course Chef's Menu was amazing value at $59. Accompanying wine only $29. This was on a Sat night. Unbelievable. Well done to the whole team

We had the $59 seafood banquet and apple crumble for dessert. Staff were great and we did enjoy our meals. We're not big eaters (sharing a pub schnitty for example) but even we felt that the portions were very small. Overall a good experience.
