   Unfortunately, the whole experience was shocking and so disappointing. Where do I start... First, I received a message from Socialite asking if our table can be pushed back by half an hour which I agreed to. On the day of our booking, I stil not had a written confirmation of the time change so I rang Socialite to double check. Turns out they didn't change the time so lucky I rang as we would have been half an hour late. Not sure what that was about! Then, we get to the place and get given a menu. We all looked round at each other with disappointed looks - menu was shocking for a Mother's Day Sunday. No roast, 2 mains which were fish & chips and a burger and other typical brunch dishes. We all went there thinking we were going to get a beautiful roast and get told that they have a new chef 3 days ago and they are not doing roasts. Would had been nice to be told about that change or at least post it on social media. The menu was posted on fb at 1pm on the day of our booking - would had been too late to cancel and book elsewhere even if we saw the post! So, we all ordered things that we did not fancy but there was no other options. When food come out, 2 orders where taken down incorrectly so 2 people had to wait for new dishes. Chips come out normal instead of truffle so we all got given oil and parmesan to put on ourselves. Drinks took over 20 mins to come out each time we ordered. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was so bland I ate 1/4 of it and left the rest. One of my family members did complain to the waitress as the service was quite shocking. The lady was nice and polite but so many mistakes has happened - but then avoided us after the complain. Oh and to add I paid £80 deposit when making the booking online, which was supposed to be taken of the bill but they did not do that - surely this should had been in their system. So I rang Socialite when I realised about the mistake when I got home and they are going to refund but can take up to 10 days.

   I bought my son for a late birthday meal. We didn't realise the menu at the time we booked was a bru ch menu This is not what we wanted. We spoke to staff who let us choose from the main menu that darted after the brunch menu. The staff were friendly wishing my son happy birthday and shaking our hands when we left. Theu came over to check our meal was ok and to check of we required anything else during our time with the. The chefs were accommodating and the meal was divine. Well worth the money. I woukd highly recommend.

   What a great place! We celebrated a friends 50th by having Sunday lunch here. They gave us a really lovely table window, the service was very good. Attentive but not over the top. Very professional. The food was excellent, we had a mix of a roast beef, a burger, chicken primavera and salmon, all were excellent. We all felt it was very good value for money. It was surprisingly quiet in the restaurant and bar but that didn’t spoil it. We will definitely come here again. And the views! Exceptional!

   The quality of the dining was superb and service attentive without being intrusive. Extremely impressed. Certain to become a Canterbury favourite for dining.

   An absolutely amazing setting with stunning views over the city. The food was superb and the staff are brilliant.

   Ordered drinks when we sat down, but then had to ask for them again when the food arrived first. Steak was very tough and not brilliantly cooked for the price, although fries were good. Place was very noisy as apparently the owner had booked the place out for a private party, which explains why it took a long time to find our table reservation. Dessert menu is heavily chocolate based which is fine if you love chocolate, but not for us so decided to call it a night much earlier than planned. Imagine it would be much better in the summer or even on a ‘normal’ Saturday night.

   The servers were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the time we waited for our food was very long and when we did receive the main course it was not very hot. The size of the salmon dish was poor and some dishes were not available on the menu - sold out when we arrived early evening which was disappointing and even more limited. More staff is required.

   Very disappointed. We had to wait ages for any service and had to keep reminding staff what we had asked for. Food was average and we had to wait an hour despite only 2 tables being occupied. There was no atmosphere and we were stuck away in the corner unable to see the lovely view they are famous for! We refused to pay the added service charge, the waiter didn’t care and we received no apology. This was for a special birthday and was not an enjoyable experience.

   Service very friendly and helpful. Food good, although roast beef undercooked (even for "pink"). Food value good, drinks a bit pricy.

    Our last visit was huge improvement in terms of good quality and service and we have booked again hoping standards will be kept us as it is a lovely venue.
