Valentine's Day Dinner

Everything was great except for service which was just ok. Our waiter was unfailingly polite but they forgot or didn’t hear 3 separate items over 2 courses (he was genuine in his apologies). But 1 is a non- event, 2 an accident, but 3?
In all still a very pleasant dinner at a neighborhood gem of a restaurant.
We have eaten at Sociale several times and always reliable. However, this time the kale salad was too salty (cheese was the culprit), and the clams linguine had sand. Service for the main courses took a long time and the restaurant was half empty, on a Saturday night, surprisingly.
It is beautifully decorated and very charming. But something has happened. very disappointed.
The Italian wine list was exceptional, the sommelier very knowledgeable and the food great. The cheese plate was less than I expected but the chicken under a brick and the pork chop was over the top.
Awesome. Josh was great with the wines!
Very nice place for having a dinner. Good variety of wines, great service and delicious food.
Everything was so delicious, service so personable and the sommelier so much fun to talk wine with - a great experience!
Small portions. Went home hungry after zucchini lasagne which was all pasta, very little zucchini. Menu options are lol too rich and don’t include many vegetables.
I've eaten many noodles and all over the world, but the pappardelle with duck was quintessential Italian pasta, trickled down with a Barbera.
Had a delicious meal with friends. The wine list was exceptional and our server, Jason, knew that we were having a hard time deciding on wine, so he let us sample several before we ordered! That was extraordinary. The ambiance was intimate, the atmosphere was serene, and the service was classy. Definite must.
Excellent menu and service in a very enjoyable atmosphere
