Great food, wonderful service and incredible staff!
Took my mom out for Mother’s Day. I had been here before but it was my moms first time. We got a couple of skillets and sangrias and it was an awesome time! The service was really good and the food was even better. Definitely coming back here.
Great food, wine, and ambiance!
It was great. I felt safe and comfortable. The food was delicious.
Food was excellent. Love the patio seating with the fire pit. Made for a fun experience.
Excellent small plates. Covid precautions are outstanding.
Not worth the price. Drinks barely had alcohol for $18-20!
The server and host were kind and attentive. The food was cold but flavored well with the exception of the steak in our penne; which was over over cooked and salty. We drank Bellinis which were okay.
The food was good but the dressings were a little salty on all the salads which is something fixable. My biggest issue was that they now charge a $2.50 PPE fee. I understand that the pandemic happened but why should is customers be responsible for paying for items the restaurant should have had to begin with? There are ways of adding that fee elsewhere (adding gratuity and splitting some of that into a PPE fee fund, increasing pricing by 2-3% on each item and many other options ). I used to eat at all the restaurants in their group but with this new fee I could eat elsewhere and I know that's how many other people are feeling too. It's not the price it's the principle of customers feeling like they are trying to pull one over on us . My last concern was the waitress tried to explain to me what PPE is assuming I was not aware what it meant . I kindly explained to her I'm fully aware what it stands for as I manage multiple hotels and a restaurant to which she apologized for insulting my intelligence , but that experience alone was enough for my to share my thoughts.
First time visitor but plan to return soon. Steve was a great waiter and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was nice for dinner, drinks with friends, a date, late night find...We didn't eat, but the food looked excellent. The drinks were great.
Service was extremely slow and staff was unattentive. There was one staff person who seemed to be handling the majority of the restaurant and was stretched thin, but he did what he could to service my friend and I . We waited over 20mim to get water after being seated, and another half hour to place our order after getting appetizers. I think the guy knew things were moving slow and offered us a free glass of champagne, which was greatly appreciated.
We made sure to tip him well, but don’t plan to return anytime soon. It could def be a neighborhood gem if service was better
Also, the avocado and shrimp salsa was extremely overpriced and there was barely anything on the plate. We literally got one shrimp. 🤦🏽♀️LOL don’t order it...
Service was very poor. Food was good, but service nonexistent.
Bar was really backed up. The server was professional and food was good. very nice to sit outside.
Staff treat us poorly for ordering from the restaurant week
Great. Service was amazing . Everyone followed masks and social distancing and we felt completely comfortable
Food was terrific, will defiantly go back. Service was great, servers were attentive without being bothersome. The wine pairing was perfect. Tastes were interesting without being overwhelming. Outdoor eating in the summer is a must.
Disappointing. First, we went during restaurant week and we were told they "ran out of the restaurant week menu" ahead of our 745pm table reservation. Running out of food happens but during covid the restaurant has a good sense of anticipated business and expected traffic based on strict reservation requirements (charge $25/pp for cancelling less than 24 hours ahead of time). A policy of charging customers for late changes while not managing your inventory of food and featured menu is just shady. Second, the restaurant charges a PPE fee to every bill. No objections to a fee, to their credit they are adhering to safety standards, but they don't inform customers of the fee ahead of time. Never good to see a surprise fee on the bill. Third, the quality of the food not worth the price. We aim to support restaurants during these times of limited capacities but we won't be back here.
Excellent staff and management! Food is truly special. Must visit!
Lousy and overpriced crabcake.
Salads a 6 year old could make.
Always a great location. They've added some lovely firepit tables outside to help stay warm. Great menu that is smaller but offers great variety
Good food, and great vibes!
It was good casual dining good music and amazing cuisine please try the scallops
Another fantastic experience at Sociale. Highly recommended!
Great place for a meal! The food and service is amazing!
They are doing a phenomenal job following the rules during Covid and I'd have to say the are the best at doing it (compared to some other places)! They have many precautions in place for the safety of customers and their staff.
This place is highly recommended especially if you are looking for a safe place to go during Covid for great food.
We love Sociale, the food is great and it's very clean!
Our server, Brandis, was awesome. She helped us decide on our order and everything was great.
Excellent experience! Great prices, quality, service, clean, spacious....
Pancakes were the absolute best I have EVER had!
I think maybe for a special occasion. Not for casual dining. Too expensive.
Great food drinks were just ok or I would have given 5 stars
Fire tables are fun!
Phenomenal brunch! The host is just so bloody friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help that you can’t help but have an amazing time!!! Love this place!!
Great establishment! Grade A cocktails and a nice outdoor patio w/fire pits. Had some apps and entrees and the food was very good as well. Highly reco the flatbreads and truffle parm fries!
The food and drinks was really good
Sociale is fantastic! Great food, great people, good cocktails. The veal chop is outstanding!
On 2/21/21, two friends and myself decided to go to brunch. We ended up choosing to go to Sociale Chicago. We were assigned a waitress named Brandis and she was not friendly at all. When it came time to take our order, she literally stood 2 tables away. Trust me, I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but I have never experienced this behavior before. She really made me feel uncomfortable. She wanted us to yell over our order. The only time she came remotely closer to the table was when she brought our drinks over, and at that point she still slid the carafe onto the table and basically ran away. She requested that we put our mask on at the table so she could “slide” the drinks over. That was the part where I got upset. She was literally very close to the other 2 tables she was looking after and when she approached them, they didn’t have on a mask. At that point, I realized it was more than likely because we were Black. Mind you we were the only 3 Black people there. I’m not one to play the race card easily but there was no other explanation. We didn’t deserve that treatment and will NEVER go again. We even spoke with the GM Steven, and while he “apologized”, it lacked empathy and was not genuine. It’s so sad that in 2021, we (Black) people still must face racism unnecessarily.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful loved it
Never knew Sociale offered brunch! With restaurants being so difficult to get into these days, with all the covid restrictions, it was hard finding a spot that was open, offered a brunch menu after 1, and would accommodate the amount of guests that I had attending. The food is always great, and the Bloody Mary was pretty good too! I’ll definitely be back for brunch in the future.
Burger was a little under cooked for medium well. Everything else was perfect!
The service wasn’t great. The waitress never checked on us after dropping off our food. So we ran out of water and beverages. We would have ordered another drink but we never got the opportunity. The food was good, but we probably would not dine there again.
