Great service and very accommodating. When it is warmer out they have great outdoor fireplaces.
Great brunch spot, many tasty brunch items. Went with friends for a holiday brunch, they were able to accommodate our group, service was great, highly recommend Sociale.
Best potatoes ever! But seriously, the food was phenomenal. Service was great and everything was very clean!
The four of us friends wanted a fun yet not too noisy place with good cocktails, wine & shareable food to enjoy while catching up and relaxing — Sociale was the perfect place to meet - the flatbreads, beet salad, Brussels sprouts & the sinfully delicious truffle fries satisfied all of us as we enjoyed the good times of being together — thanks!
Coffee was not available with dessert for our party of 6 because we were told "the cafe is closed." Service was not professional. The food itself was good.
My partner and I went on a mini date, away from the baby. The food was great, the drinks were great too. I had the red sangria and the salmon dish, delicious. He had a martini and house wine, he said he enjoyed them. I can’t recall what he ate but his side were potatoes and they were scrumptious. I would recommend.
The restaurant is beautifully designed- perfect for a special occasion or a quick drink at the bar. The drinks were very good- especially the French 75. I'm coming back to drink one of those again. The food was delicious. We got the crostini with feta as well as the beet salad- both are worth trying. We all got sandwiches. I'd say they were all average, but absolutely nothing to complain about. Our server was awesome. She was attentive, but didn't hover. She absolutely made our experience a good one. We'll definitely be back.
I don't know the servers name but me and my gf came in on Nov. 4 in at 315pm. The server was amazing and the crabcakes are so good especially with the sauce. Drinks were awesome as well. We'll definitely make this a regular place to visit.
Blue cheese martini was terrible. Was just iced vodka and one olive. Asked for more olive juice and that was spoiled/fermented. Salads with steak were tiny and fatty steak pieces. Ordered the Waygu steak with chimichurri and also was very fatty and came out cold. This place was either having a really off night or just isn't good. Bad service as well, waitress had no clue who ordered what and was very hard to find. BAD EXPERIENCE OVERALL. Dont waste your time or money.
We came on a Weds. night so it was nice because fairly empty. Service and food was very good. Loved it all except the Caesar Salad - it was fresh and all but the dressing was more like Thousand Island and the croutons were made from Cornbread. It wasn’t bad - it was just not what we expected! Maybe it’s a Midwest thing?
But I liked the ambiance and the service was great!
Great servers and great food! Love their brunch menu!
Delicious food and wonderful service in a trendy, yet relaxed environment. Loved every bit of our lamb meatballs, beets salads, half-chicken dinner and even the sides (asparagus, mushroom medley) were amazing. The white sangria is probably the best I've ever had. We'll be back!
The food was average at best, the portion size was ridiculously small. The taste was bland, I had the pasta. Drinks were just ok. I order an old fashion and didn't want a second. Came, saw, went, don't have to or need to go back.
The pasta and the salmon entrees are delicious. My favorite appetizer is the shrimp and avocado salsa made with olive oil! OMG! The bread pudding is truly the best. My husband is not a fan of bread pudding, but orders this one every time and eats every spoonful. Be prepared to find street parking which is generally available. Use the Chicago Park app. It's easy and convenient.
The food and wine were reasonably good, but I think the infection control was inadequate.
The staff wore masks down to their noses.
Close proximity to neighboring tables.
Cutlery for sharing food is not provided unless you ask for it.
I feel that the restaurant is not clean enough.
We ordered a delicious assortment of meals and shared. I would have liked to see larger individual plates to make building a plate easier and regular refills of water or a water carafe.
Everything was great. The food was superb. Omar the manager recommended a few appetizers and entrees that we really enjoyed. The lamb meatballs and scallops were very very good. The brunch menu was great. The price is really great for the portion size as well. Will definitely be coming back.
We made reservations for brunch because the was a home Bears game and Columbia Family weekend so we knew everything would be busy.
The food was very good. The service was friendly and accommodating but painfully slow. I will try again next time I am in Chicago
Loved it! We had a party of six and everyone said the food was excellent. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Sociale has an upbeat atmosphere and a clean environment. We will definitely return.
All good! Enjoyed the food, cocktails and server was professional and pleasant.
Excellent reception at front desk, fantastic food and given the staff shortage, the service was still excellent. I will return again.
We went for brunch before the Bears game. Everyone really loved their food- expansive brunch menu! So much to choose from. Our waitress was great and the service was prompt. Would definitely go back
I was driving past when I saw this restaurant. The people looked as if they were having a great time. I found the next available time and had a great experience. The hostess was warm and welcoming. We were able to get a table that was situated in an ideal spot. Because of the rain, one of the walls of doors was closed, but it was a great breeze coming in. Our server was great. She said that she had only worked there a few months but answered all our questions. She never hesitated to find the answer when she didn't know it. My bestie and I ordered the Duck Contini (??). It was soooo good. It was kindda late so we didn't order anything heavy. This place has a great feel. I've already made plans to return at an earlier time so that I can really sample the food. I'd definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and service very much! They made our family of 4 feel comfortable and they were very accommodating. The kids menu was good
I love this restaurant !!! A true favorite of mine in the south loop since I use to live in the Amli building snd they would have wine down Wednesday with small plate tastings in the building. I have always been a fan of the menu and I love that it is what I like to call a live menu that continues to change but making sure to keep my favorite items on the menu. I can’t say enough good things about the scallops, who would think pistachio butter would pair so well! Tonight was my me and my husbands first night out with our new baby and could not have been a better experience. Thank you to our awesome server Mia and the rest of the wonderful staff that assisted with clearing our plates and bringing out our cocktails, we had a wonderful evening.
The food was lovely. The server provided some nice recommendations.
Spectacular food— scallops, flatbread, and a few other appetizers. Just cannot get enough of the variety and vibrant tastes
I think they were short staffed because our waitress didn’t come see us for about 20 minutes after we got there. Other than that, the food was amazing.
Service was super slow and food wasn’t that good not worth 80.00 at all
Was super excited about exploring a new part of the neighborhood and decided to give Sociale a try. We had a reservation for 2 and were seated immediately outside. When we walked in there was a sign explaining that they are understaffed and are currently adding gratuity automatically
Came here for drinks for my wife's birthday now online there show pictures of the fire pit tables so that was the only reason I came was to sit outside by the fire and have drinks and I made it clear that's what I wanted in my reservations but when we checked in I was immediately told "oh we don't have the fire place tables" it's like at this point what do you do I already paid for gas and paid $30 for parking
I've always enjoyed Sociale for dinner, but this is the first time we've had brunch. As always, the food is delicious, and the servers are friendly and available. And they don't try to grab your dishes out from under you ;)
Food was delicious but more gluten free options would be better. Kind of odd that there weren’t any GF bread substitutes in 2021. I feel like it’s a pretty common dietary restriction and not accommodating it seems weird.
Service was horrible, waited 20 minutes before someone came to take drink order
The food was delicious! The portions are small but the flavors are big! Good drink menu as well. Staff is friendly and helpful !
Delicious food, eclectic menu with great choices. Service was wonderful. It's on a busy corner so we opted to each inside, which is cozy and comfortable.
Better than average food, good service and outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere inside too.
Timaya was our server and she was AWESOME! Very attentive. Had the Crispy Chicken Club and it was delicious.
Great spot! Thoughtful owners, attentive staff, and good grub. The scallops are a must.
Lovely experience for
My friend’s birthday
