Last minute decision to eat out with kids
Food was very overpriced for what it is. I didn’t even eat half of the burger I ordered. The cocktails were good though!
It was phenomenal. The server was incredible, and the music was excellent. The ambience was great and I definitely plan to make this place a regular location for my friends and I. The penne pasta was especially delicious and so were the herb fries
Serving very very slow; food was good but definitely overpriced; you are badivally paying for the environment
It was a bad day for them and they were understaffed. Normally this place is really good.
Great food and service. A little loud sitting outside but the weather was great!
New to the neighborhood and this is now my “neighborhood” place. Food has been great each time I’ve been.
Awesome food at a great value compared to most of the other places we went to in Chicago on our weekend trip! I had the Wagu Ribeye with brussel sprouts my wife, the duck confit flatbread. The portions were plentiful without being over indulgent. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were exquisite! The flatbread was an exercise in total balanced flavor - the sweetness of the duck sausage and goat cheese balanced out with the bitterness of the argula - amazing!!!
The food is always Amazing. It’s generally very easy to get a table, even last minute. This is my go to brunch spot and I always recommend it to people.
Went with some friends to have brunch on a Sunday. It rained so it seemed quieter than usual. Given the weather, there were only 5-6 tables filled in the restaurant. Servers were kind but the service generally was still lacking. Took a long time to get our orders taken and had to wait a while to get a refill of water. Wouldn't want to find out what the service is like when it's busy
The food was tasty but it's pricy for what you get. We ordered four meals and three coffees. We split the check evenly and it came out to about $25 per person with a tip. Seemed a bit steep considering no one had an alcoholic drink.
The service was amazing! All of the staff was attentive and fast! The food was absolutely amazing as well! Definitely going back!
Nice ambiance! Good food! Great place to hang out with friends and family.
Love this place. We will be back soon. Food and cocktails were great.
Sociale is a very good dining experience. The ambience is excellent, and the staff is very polite and friendly, and very attentive. The food is good, but not great. Overall, it is a good dining experience and an excellent service experience.
The food was excellent. The drinks are a bit pricey.
Good food. Solid small plates. Sides are not included with the entrees so it’s good if you’re looking for a nice vibe and cocktails!
They have a good brunch and drinks are good. I go there often and enjoy the food.
Sat outside with 2 friends. Was lovely. We could catch up with no interruption. Love this place.
The food was decent, a bit overpriced.
I love brunch , that is worth every penny.
I invited a friend from out of town to have dinner here. I ordered the Seared Salmon, 3 to 4 oz filet, to my surprise it still had skin, (this was not mentioned in the menu), the pan fried red skin potatoes were very much so under cooked, to the point it was inedible. I was only drinking water, yet only received 1 serving, no refills. I know we’re just getting back to the new normal, maybe I expected too much. I expected better.
Sociale is a local spot for us and we are grateful that it's been here for great food and neighborly vibes. The menu is carefully curated--choices for everyone. The food is creatively conceived and carefully prepared. They have a great staff and a number of seating options, including streetside. Some of my favorites are their salmon preparation and the crabcakes. The sides are great and varied. Recently tried the Chilaquiles Verdes at brunch; texture and taste are outstanding. Folks who sit at the bar look super happy, too.
Customer service was excellent. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming.
I did feel like the food was a bit overpriced and not much alcohol in my drink.
Other than that we so enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!
It was our anniversary and the food and service was spectacular! We didn’t expect anything except to be out for our special day and they threw in a little something for us. Thank you for making our day just a bit better!
Great menu! Our party consisted of a vegan as well as carnivores & a pescatarian, there were ample choices for everyone :) Always wonderfully prepared food & pleasant ambiance. A very nice dining experience!
The food was pretty meh for the prices. A $22 fried chicken sandwich that was completely unmemorable seemed a bit extreme. Likewise, the drinks were also very meh for the price. There was no real hook or lure to entice a second visit. If the prices were lower, or the food was of a better quality, I'd have rated this place higher.
One thing I will also note for the reader, but I am certainly not holding it against the restaurant in my rating/review - if you choose to sit outside, it is incredibly loud. Multiple sports cars revving their engines drove by, and there were multiple cars honking their horns at the intersection of Polk and Clark. It was pretty annoying, but it's not the restaurant's fault. I think if I did go back, I'd want to sit inside and away from the noise of the street.
Great food, great ambiance, great service and over all great Experience!
The food was amazing and our server James was AMAZING he is what a server is supposed to be.
We enjoyed a chilled bottle of Prosecco with the charcuterie board—delightful! Our sever was attentive and unobtrusive. All thumbs up!
Food was pretty meh, not worth the cost.
This is. Great restaurant in a quieter part of south loop.
Excellent! We enjoyed the food and the ambience at Sociale!
Cute place! Food was decent, it took awhile to get seated and to be served, my water didn't get refilled until the very end. I know restaurants have been pretty short staffed right now so would definitely still come back!
Fun restaurant with really good food and a fun atmosphere!!
The food was amazing but the bartender was very unprofessional, we sat at the bar. I wouldn’t go back.
Service was great! We appreciated the attentive servers and staff!
Incredible food and excellent service. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and gave awesome drink recommendations. I ordered the blueberry pistachio pancakes and will be thinking of them for weeks. Highly recommend.
First time visit to Sociale, we will be back. Celebrated last day of school, started with the Chicagoan cocktail and Woodford Old Fashion for my friend- both excellent pours. Had the honey soy pork belly and sumac crusted scallops both were winners! Had the wagyu ribeye, whipped feta and Sociale Plate...delicious. After dinner drink shared was an averna and whiskey rye was great substitute for a B&B. James was a very enthusiastic an wonderful waiter. Many Thanks.
Great food and kind waitress, very slow to be seated even with reservation.
Not busy but service was slow. Food took a while to get there and for the cost, the serving sizes were very small. Not as good as I was hoping. Also not much of a drink selection.
Brunch was very good, we shared steak and eggs and an order of pancakes. We felt good about the flavors and portion size.
Had brunch outside, great food choices and the quality did not disappoint.
