The service was excellent. The food choices were good and ours was excellent.
We ordered the Prime Rib Special and my wife and I both got very fatty pieces of meat and we ordered medium. There was barely any pink and it seemed a bit over cooked. My wife seemed to think it was leftover from the day before. The outside coating had no flavor. The Au jus was not good if it was Au jus at all. There was nothing special done to the meat to make it better or memorable compared to other places. I would have expected something better from Del Lago.
Birthday party for son-in-law. Prime rib was so so. Could tell it was prepackaged cut of meat not fresh cut off a rib of beef. Will not return for that same meal again for the price 😠
Everything was wonderful, service was excellent, food was tasty, good atmosphere, carpet needs serious cleaning though had food on the floor under ready tables. Spent about 100 bucks and got an appetizer, 3 entrees, wine, and some booze, Overall great visit
The food was pretty good, and our server was great.
I ordered the turkey dinner. Not quite to my liking. I prefer regular slices, not a thick chunk! and the flavor was not there. I'll try something different next time.
Need more vegetarian/ vegan options even if it is just sides!
Prime rib was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was exemplary! We will be back!
Good food, pleasant meal
Really need more help And better Selections of food and then you looks like something from a country restaurant very bland menu you have better choices of appetizers people come in there to drink and the appetizers are terrible
The food was very bland, just didn’t have much flavor.
Party of 2. both ordered prime rib. My choice was an end cut. the quantity was good but the meat was quite dry (risk of getting and end cut, sometimes, but not if prepared properly). My wife had 2 comments on her dinner. First comment: Tastes like mystery meat!
second comment: This tastes like Flicka!!
probably will not go back to the Sociale. Too many other choices in central NY
Came there specifically for the vegan / vegetarian options. Service was great. Food was outstanding
We were seated quickly. We ordered Texas Poutine as an appetizer which was delicious. We asked the waitress to wait till we were done with the appetizer before dinner was brought. It wasn’t. Our prime rib dinners were delivered half way through our appetizer. The prime rib had sear marks from a flat iron grill! It tasted like a boiled steak, no flavor at all, not a prime rib cut from the roast. The Brussels sprouts were saturated in oil and not “ crispy” as the menu stated they’d be. The baked potato was okay, but not that hot. Very disappointed with this experience. We traveled about 45mins each way for this!
Our food had fruit Flys coming off plate when brought out our food and chicken was over done it was so gross:(
Please could there be more vegan/ vegetarian options?
The turkey dinner and chicken soup were very good! The service was efficient and friendly!
The food was great & the service was outstanding!!
The service was great food over priced for quality and portions.
Our server was awesome. The meal was very tasty. See you again soon
Excellent food and great service. Friendly people!
Our dinner at Sociale Cafe was an excellent experience! From the service staff all the way to great food, everything was great. The Chef took time out of his busy night to come out and introduce himself and talk to us about our excellent meal. It was a very classy act on his part.
We had a great meal! The prime rib special was fabulous. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 8 for a 50th birthday celebration, they had 2 tables of 4 right next to each other due to COVID. But they made it nice so we could still all celebrate together while still following COVID protocol. We will definitely go back! Food was great and had many choices as they also offered a portico menu as well as specials. Great place!
Never received my open table points.
The waitress had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her twice.
Never received my 100 points.
She won’t be serving us again
we had the lobster tail which was excellent!!! I just sih it was served with anything else on the plate..a veggie..anything..
Love the preparation and the fact that they use local ingredients!
The food just isn’t good. We loved going there pre-COVID maybe they are just struggling to get their groove back. We will keep trying hoping for better results.
Food was good, good value. Took 50 minutes to get food and not busy. Only one cook for two restaurants and take out. Covid situation was taking its toll on employees that are back Im sure. Was understanding but annoying.
Food and service were good. They put the Bills game on for us which was nice.
Had a lovely meal. Serving staff were serving, clearing tables...and behind the bar....very considerate but definitely needed more staff
I would recommend this restaurant. They had a table for us right away and the service was very good and everyone enjoyed their food.
I and my friend ordered the prime rib. She ordered hers medium well and I ordered it medium rare. Here was done medium rare and mine was one part delicious the other half barely cooked. We pointed this out to Teach and she agreed. We all left hungry. To not serve any bread up front or offer appetizers, was disappointing. Would not return
It was alright expensive for what we got. It maybe ok as a breakfast place.
The food was stated as farm fresh which I appreciate. The prime rib was fair tasting but cooked correctly. The ambiance was ok. Would have been better if the lights were lower. It was more like a cafeteria look when I expected more of a nice restaurant look and feel.
Food came out cold and rather tasteless.
Friendly service, good variety of food options and reasonably priced.
It was our first visit to the Sociale Café and we loved it! I finally found a restaurant that makes crab cakes the way they are advertised on the menu. All white, lumpy meat and not from a can like they are in most restaurants. My husband had the prime rib and he said it was tender and tasty. Not chewy at all. We'll be back!
The restaurant is really just a few tables by the coffee bar café in the lobby of the hotel. The food was pretty disappointing. We ordered the prime rib special and the prime rib was overdone, had no flavor and was cold. The service was so-so, we waited forever for water refills, etc. Just overall disappointing for the cost. The casino really needs to add a good mid-priced restaurant option. The only options other than food court or buffet are a very expensive Italian restaurant, this restaurant or some tables by the sports book area.
We loved the happy hour and the 1/2 price appetizers. The clams we had were amazing. We look forward to coming again soon.
