Social Tap Eatery
We developed the concept of Social Tap only knowing the restaurant business from the customer side of the table. Our vision was to focus on customer service, great food using only high quality ingredients, creative cocktails & an emphasis on local craft beer. Everything that comes out of the Social Tap kitchen is scratch made, from our signature sandwiches, to our braised tacos and wing sauces.
It is our firm belief that great food is the foundation to a restaurant’s identity; at Social Tap, we don’t cut any corners. By creating a welcoming atmosphere with a comfortable feel, we are the perfect place for anything from a business meeting to watching your favorite sporting event. Basically, we tried to create a place where we’d enjoy hanging out with our friends and family. With that in mind, we invite you to embrace our vision and attitude during your visit to any of our Social Tap locations.
Great service, food tasted mediocre, but totally fine if you’re seeking a fun spot with bar food!!
We had a party of 8. The food was mediocre as the chicken was burnt some things were too salty and some was not too flavorful. Service was good though as our server did her best to accommodate.
Server wouldn't spilt bill and charged the same price for a drink that was made to be a non alcoholic drink as the alcoholic drink. 10 bucks for a sprite with lemon basically .
It was SO HOT in the restaurant because they left the doors open on a 109 degree day. Our server was amazing, but the food and the heat were hard to look past when rating this restaurant.
We went with a bigger group for brunch and it was ok. I have heard good things about their lunch, dinner, and drinks. I would not come back for brunch just because the food wasn't the best.
We went with a group of 12 for a bachelorette party and everyone made us feel so welcome and happy to celebrate with us! Amaya was phenomenal and we miss her already!!
Lack of ingredients in the kitchen? Did not have things on the menu that people ordered or wanted to order. Food looks great online but is actually very mediocre. Our waitress was nice and attentive but I think the kitchen needs help as it was very slow to get food out (1+ hour). Overall, probably will never be back again
I had made the reservation weeks in advance for a party of 8. When we arrived they said our options were to sit outside on a couch or outside on two separate tables of 4, so we just stayed for chips and salsa and left. It was genuinely disappointing.
It is a cool place I always go there with my ladies nice music they have a second level bar pretty nice good music
this is a place to meet your friends and have fun. No for a romantic dinner. We went with my husband, it was ok, better With a group of people.
The man who was probably in his mid 40’s wearing a blue shirt that was seating everyone yesterday was EXTREMELY rude & unprofessional.
It was very busy and our waitress did tell us she was new, but she was far too often nowhere to be found, including the end of the night when we wanted to pay and leave.
Did happy hour with some work buddies. Overall experience was ok. Food was decent. Only issue we experienced was that we received the wrong drink order a couple of times.
Amaya was amazing! Such a fun outing with great food and drinks!
Nice outdoor patio. Food and service were really good.
Friendly service, good food and drinks!
The service is the most important part of the restaurant experience. Upon arrival we were told to wait outside because the servers are all busy. So after 20 minutes we are shown to a table. It is another 20 minutes before we have anything to drink. It was 45 minutes before the food arrived. An hour from arrival to food on the table.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. You can’t pay me to go back there
The food was great. The service was beyond slow. Had wings, drinks, and some tacos - dinner took 3 hours.
Horrible service. Over an hour wait for food when it was not busy, rarely saw our waitress. 10/10 would not recommend
Took 30 minutes to get our drinks. The bachelor party next to us was loud and wild and came up behind and unhooked my friends bra.
Lots of great options on the menu and I like their portion size.
The Southwest Burger and Buffalo wings were delicious. They had the single jumbo ice cubes for my Bulleit Bourbon (bonus points).
Everyone agreed the food was tasty but the service was pretty awful. Went for brunch on Sunday to end a birthday weekend celebration. You can tell this place is more of a bar - the “host” at the front acted more like a bouncer - we weren’t sure we would all be allowed in given his demeanor :D
We were greeted promptly for drink orders but after that it was downhill. Pretty frustrating to wait a long time for food and watch drinks sitting at the bar for 15 minutes when there are three waitresses/hostesses standing right in front of them, hanging out and talking. We finally had to flag someone down to get them. I get it if the place is slammed, but there weren’t many people there. Felt like there were more waitstaff/bartenders than patrons. Once again, not a bad place, just had a bar vibe and service suffered as a result - like they weren’t used to people expecting good service. We still had a good time and enjoyed our meal and the upbeat atmosphere.
Made reservations for a party of 8 for a bachelorette dinner and they tried to squeeze us in a booth for 6 and put a chair on the end of the table. The service was sweet but it took 1.5 hours to get our food that we ordered and 30-45 mins to get our cocktails. The food was mediocre and the environment was loud. Definitely wouldn’t come here again!
Food was average. Ordered Cobb salad with chicken. It was cold, very chewy and no flavor. Hostess was super friendly and accommodating but server not very attentive. Atmosphere was good.
Went for weekend brunch and it was alright. Our table top and chairs were soaking wet from the misters. Food had mistakes and wasn’t great anyways. Not sure if I would go back. Much better places in Scottsdale to go fro brunch.
Awful restaurant and treated like garbage.
Great drinks, service, vibe.....
Service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. So many other options in Old Town. This is a beer bar with a decent patio.
Place was dirty. Chairs are cloth covered with stains. Girls bathroom was nasty.
Delicious food & dessert! Loved the lights !!
Loved it, totally recommend. Servers could spend a little more time paying attention to customers and skip the group chat.
The highlight of the evening was the gentleman that seated us. After that, everything else was poor. Uncoordinated staff. Took about 15 minutes to get our drink order. Basic simple food orders were wrong, two chicken teriyaki bowls were bad, the rice wasn’t cooked, we didn’t send it back because of how long it took get our food. They send our daughters chicken tenders to someone else, had to wait for them to cook another order. Then we ordered dessert, after 10-15 minutes we were informed that it would be another 10 minutes, we said no just cancel and bring the checks. Overall, a complete failure.
In town for a couple days - my sister and I had a great time
Unimpressed by the level of service (they kept us waiting even when we had a reservation), COVID safety (waitstaff’s masked weren’t covering their noses and multiple times our server pulled down her mask to speak), and attention to detail (we had to ask multiple times for water and silverware).
Very impressive. We didn't get the seating that we requested, but it was a great seat anyway.
Atmosphere was fantastic... service was great... plenty of food a beverage choices..would certainly visit there again!!
Awesome service! Always seat us on time and take good care of us in a timely manner. Love this place!
