   This was our second visit to Social. Our first visit last year was outstanding, so we came back with high expectations. Unfortunately, as some recent reviews suggest, the experience can be hit or miss—and this time, it missed the mark for us. While our server was friendly and attentive, the service overall was painfully slow. We waited over an hour between receiving our appetizer and being served our entrées. The appetizer—a grilled octopus—had good flavor but was noticeably overcooked and rubbery. My wife, who is originally from the island, opted for a more traditional Puerto Rican dish but was left disappointed by both the flavor and execution. I went with the special of the day, a baked yellow snapper. It was well-prepared despite being quite bony. Dessert was the highlight of the evening. We shared the chocolate mousse, which was rich, smooth, and perfectly done. All in all, it was a mixed experience, and we’re uncertain whether we’ll return for a third try.

   The only hiccup in our visit was finding the hostess stand—it’s located in the middle of the restaurant, which was a bit confusing at first. But from there, everything exceeded expectations. We were seated on the terrace, which was peaceful with only one other couple dining nearby. While there was some background noise from the adjacent pool, it quieted down not long after 6pm, making for a relaxed atmosphere. We shared a bottle of rosé and ordered several appetizers to try a bit of everything. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The highlight, though, was the banana bread pudding—a perfect ending to a great meal. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious food and a comfortable, laid-back vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

   We were a party of six, we waited for one hour and a half for our food to arrive. Two of the orders were wrong. The service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being empty. Would not recommend this place.

   Outside Nice ambiance ocean view service was excellent several appetizers not available getting a meal was slow steak was over cooked they offered a free glass of wine which was nice but once a 58 dollar steak is overcooked it’s too late ! Dessert very good as well

   We had Easter Brunch here! The food was amazing and so were the views. I highly recommend this place and we will be back the next time we come to Puerto Rico!!

    Good was ok. Ribeye was chewy and tough. Def skip that. Seabass itself was great. Apps were good. Tuna tacos very yummy. Waugu burgers could have been great but were overcooked. Just an okay meal for the price and the slow service.
