First experience, and it was very good.
I will definitely go back.
Food was great, the hosts were quick and friendly, but our server seemed really bored. Like great service but was almost over bearing how often he checked on us. I felt like our conversations were frequently interrupted.
Terrific place in snooty b-ham. Fair prices, terrific menu with healthy options. One of the few reasons to dine north of 14 Mile.
Really good food, big portions and an overall good experience! Very conscious of safety procedures light of the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt like the restaurant was very clean, and I felt comfortable.
Waiter had no idea what he was talking about. Very scatter brained and not helpful at all. Told us they have never done bottomless mimosas after we had just gotta them there and charged us for bottomless but told us we could only have one. Very disappointed for my 21st birthday, was hoping to have the previous experience I had.
The restaurant was very nice inside. Waiter was nice inside and very attentive. I would recommend eating inside. After eating inside we decided to go upstairs for a drink and the male waiter/ bartender was very dismissive and rude.
Food was a disappointment, greatly. Not worth the price. Our server was wonderful and during this strange time with the pandemic he was very attentive and pleasant. Sorry to say I will not be going there again. Food was burnt, lacked flavor, and greasy.
Service was excellent. Food was of high quality, delicious, and delivered timely with a nice presentation. The wait staff was attentive and management was also on staff to make sure were satisfied. This was their first week of reopening post COVID-19 so menu was a little limited but our party of 4 left completely satisfied and full! Highly recommend Social.
The rooftop was amazing! We went for brunch. The truffle fries and Brussels were great. Def cannot wait to go back
Got seated and ignored for about 20 minutes. Waitress took our order and didn’t put in one of the dishes. When the other items came out we didn’t have utensils at the table and were sitting there, looking at our food for another 15 minutes, until somebody passed by the table and we could tell them. Told our waitress about the missing order, and she compensated us- but when she brought out the dish it was cold and gross. Like it had been sitting out for a while. Our waitress seemed overworked, so I don’t blame her. Wasn’t worth my time or money though. Not enjoyable at all.
It was very crowded with no outdoor seating available and I think tables seemed to close together. Very limited menu. Food was good but not great for the price.
General manager made us feel very welcome as I called ahead to confirm. Staff was very helpful and clear that safety was top of mind.
Food was not what I remembered. Menu was limited , perhaps due to covid. No one enjoyed their meal. I used to order barramundi with crispy noodles that was delicious , no longer on the menu. The crust on the quesadilla tasted burnt, the salmon with lentils did not taste fresh. At least we were excited about the warm cookies. Everyone took one bite and that was all, they were very disappointing.
I gone these restaurants credit for opening and employees credit for working. Not sure if I’ll ever go back again.
Sadly , for one of my used to be favorite places , super disappointing dinner . Took a friend from Ann Arbor there for dinner , waited a long time after we were seated to even put in a drink order , their famous brussel sprouts are not the same . Served in a bowl not the traditional paper bag , mushy , loaded with too much vinegar , fries also in a bowl , not on the pan they used to use , also mushy .... it was a very disappointing meal and I won’t be going back . I was a very loyal supportive patron of Social for many years but they lost me last night .
they messed up one order, and undercooked another order. Mine was the only one that was actually okay. When the food is right, it’s amazing, but when it’s messed up, it’s bad. We also had fries though those are amazing.
This was my first post-quarantine dining experience and I’m very happy with it. Great service like usual and food was great. The only thing is that they don’t give you the giant tray of fries anymore. Bring it back!
Service was so slow. And cold food.
But we understood the effort made by the Social team and didn’t complain
Nice, but didn’t like being so close to the alley
We went the first night restaurants were open again. We had a patio reservation which would have been a 20 minute wait which was a bummer. They ended up being able to seat us on the roof deck. They seemed to be trying really hard to follow all of the rules and keep things clean and people separated. There are going to be some inconveniences while we all adjust. As long as you go with the attitude that it is just great to be out, it will be great. Food, service, atmosphere were all terrific.
So, strangely, my waiter informed me that, although they often DO chop your salad (upon request), the chef didn’t allow it this time. Odd. Salad was excellent, I just found it odd that you wouldn’t honor that kind of request.
Great service. Very good food.
Awful experience overall. Poor customer service.
Girlfriends birthday -fabulous food. Extremely large portions. We had enough left over for lunch the next day. Every single item we had was flavorful and creative in the combination of ingredients and it’s presentation. We will definitely go back!
as a celiac I'm always looking for safe gluten free options. Social didnt disappoint! and they have a separate fryer!
Always a great experience!!
Wéve never been disappointed by Social Kitchen. Good service, good food, cool ambiance. Works for dinner, lunch, brunch. Family, friends, small group, large group. Great restaurant.
Always a very good experience at Social!
First we were sat in the middle of the restaurant with many people running around, so we asked to move. We were moved to the outside part which is very mediocre and lacking in ambiance. The already small menu with only 2 choices for seafood, was made even smaller when we were told there were 3 items not being served that night. Trout, steak and something else. Our party of 4 had all planned on getting the trout, so we were very disappointed. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We won't be coming back.
Valentine’s Day!
Really cool atmosphere, good food, and great drinks! Had the donuts for dessert, and they were delicious! Only negative was that it took a while to get drinks after ordering (15+ minutes), but it was also busy on Valentine’s Day.
Great experience fantastic service!
Yikes. A mountain of lukewarm fries! That's a fail right there.
We had s short wait at the bar for our reservation and tried their ghostbuster margarita. Wow, is that delicious! When seated at our table, Alex was our server and did a nice job of taking care of us. I had the chicken and waffle which was good but next time I would ask for the syrup on the side as it soaked the waffle and I prefer a bit of crispy. My husband had the cheeseburger and enjoyed it but wasn't wowed by it. Our son had the eggs Benedict and highly recommended that dish. We do look forward to a return visit and trying more of their offerings.
Excellent food. Had the cheeseburger (great!) and a pile of French fries. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Husband had the gemelli, also very very good. This was our first time at Social, won’t be the last. Great overall experience.
My date didn’t show up but I treated myself to some really nice chicken and mashed potatoes with some Pinot Noir.
Wonderful service, delicious food (probably too delicious). Will definitely return!
I really love this place, however, I wish they had more vegan and vegetarian options. I would love to see vegan burgers.
Food was very good. Server Nick was on the ball. The manager that night, Ashley, was very pleasant and helpful. Also told us about other related restaurants and catering.
This place never disappoints. Hard to believe this was the first time I’d come in for lunch - have had brunch here so many times! Had a fried chicken sandwich and the Social Cubano and split an abundant order of addicting fries. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and welcoming as always.
Excelent service amazing food
Good food but the value was quite poor considering what you get. We were stuck outside in the covered patio enclosure and it had heaters on but there were a bunch of seams in the enclosure that let the cold air in. I don’t rue the night I went or anything like that but I’d never go back.
