We ordered the 7-course tasting menu for a birthday celebration. The amuse bouche was delightful and the first course. However, the courses with the lobster left an unpleasant after taste of old gym socks. The portions for 7 courses were too big. The service was amazing!
Das Restaurant ist optisch sehr schön im Waldorf Astoria Hotel untergebracht. Der Service ist dem Ambiente angemessen. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut, die Kreativität vor allem bei den Amuse Geuls fast schon übertrieben mit Ansätzen von Molekularküche. Ich hatte 3 verschiedene Trüffelgerichte, allesamt sehr lecker. Besonders das Risotto mit Alba-Trüffel war in seiner Einfachheit und Perfektion eine Wucht. Das alles hat auf der Palme in Dubai aber seinen Preis. Über 60 Dirham, also über 15 € pro Gramm für einmal Ritschratsch mit dem Trüffelhobel sind schon grenzwertig. Wer das in Kauf nimmt, hat einen schönen Abend dort.

It was such a lovely experience we tried the tasting menu the food was amazing down to every little detail and flavour
We went there for my husband’s birthday and got the waiters to sing happy birthday to him. Everyone else in the restaurant joined in.
The chef also came out to speak to us which was very nice

This was our second time at the restaurant which was not as enjoyable as the first visit. The negatives were; main course of sea bass with raspberry was a let down, the waiter was not familiar with the dishes and there was a noisy party in the big room. The positives were the starter, the deserts and the wine waiter. If your looking to charge these prices then you need properly trained staff who are familiar with the menu.
Having been to many Michelin star Resteraunt this did not warrant the three that I thought it had have being give a pre prepared desert from the fridge to me is not the thing to do in a first class Resteraunt
It’s definitely one of the best restaurants in Dubai! Loved the attention to detail and being able to meet the chef at the end of our meal.

First time dining at Social
The restaurant decor ,ambience, and overall experience was amazing. From the minute we were seated we received a very warm professional service. The waitress was very attentive throughout.
Each dish was presented on the plate to perfection and the quality and flavours were truly outstanding.. we have dined at many restaurants within Dubai and Social in our opinion outstanding

The food - taste, presentation and variety- was top class. The service was great - our waiter knew the menu very well and was able to answer all our questions, and we had a few as it was our first time to dine at Social. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already thinking of going back.
Entrees were disappointing. The black cod was not a good cut and from the edge of the fish, and there was no crisp to the top. The cacio e pepe “amatriciana” was an extremely small portion for the price and was not particularly good at being cacio e pepe or amatriciana. The duck was excellent and the highlight of the meal.
The value was extremely poor overall; for being a restaurant associated with a 3 Michelin star chef, we expected better.
Service was excellent and the amuse bouchée was very good.

The outpost of Heinz Beck’s 3*** Pergola serves somewhat tamed down and rather uninspiring and mediocrely executed “copies” of fantastic dishes;
On each of the nights I received a different number of amuses, with one of the items served lukewarm on both nights and not tasting fresh: two of the spoons include blatant and poor copies of Ferran Adria’s dishes. Several dishes have components that return time and time again: very a-typical for a restaurant of this standard… A “lettuce sauce” tastes more of olive oil than anything else, while the artichokes on the plate hadn’t been allowed to come to room temperature.
The tartare is made of good meat but is tossed without any visible of traditional condiments (shallots, pickles, capers), seems to fail tabasco and just tastes very acidic. The accompanying small salad isn’t dressed at all and features some leaves that have brown edges. The Carbonara comes in an odd vegetarian version, without neither the Guanciale nor the diced zucchini featured in the original.
Desserts are pretty to the eye but very unbalanced, odd and ridiculously sweet. There are unpleasant flavors (smoked vanilla ice cream really tastes likes cigarette ashes mixed into the base) and mouthfeels (a raspberry dish covered by raspberry sugar, making everything feel and taste very similar. Worst: it has an extremely dense layer of mousse and an unpalatable stiff layer of jelly in the bottom of the dish). There is no acidity and the essential lightness and fresh fruity flavor is not allowed to shine at all. When staff subsequently takes out plates and asks “did you enjoy” and the answer is “no, I didn’t” one expects more of a reply than “oh”…
Management only pays attention to tables when having ordered bottles of wine...
In the end: It all looks “pretty” and "luxury" but is inferior from other three-star Italian meals outside of Italy and it is rather expensive at that. I won’t return for a third visit.
One of the best meals we had in a long long time, we got the degustation menu, and each dish was delicious and presented beautifully. Would really recommend this place for a full dining experience

The waiter did not even offer the usual a la carte menu. The impression was that the à la carte menu was not at all. Only the menu with 10 and 6 dishes. The total score for 4 was 4,600 Dirhams, with tips 5000, it is about 1340 USD.
The staff support a dinner that you will remember for a lot of time. Chef superlative. All food flowed naturally. The decomposed tirami su was unbelievable. Everything excellent. What else?

Absolutely fantastic, sublime food, beautifully presented and exquisite flavours. Undeniably expensive but in my opinion worth every penny. Do not leave without having the duck tortellini. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The birthday dessert was a gorgeous extra touch.
It was totally worthy. Yes. It was bit expensive but I had so much great meal with 5 courses and wine also.

The Estivo Tasting Menu was a taste explosion. The creativity in our savoury cake stand, the exceptional flavours in each dish on the menu was an explosion of taste. We will definitely return when next in Dubai
The woman at the door Iryna Simanko was the most unprofessional, rude and tactless person I have ever come across in Hospitality, anywhere in the world. She is bad for business...in fact she has the potential to ruin any business and should not be in Hospitality.
Thankfully, on the inside, the staff were so amazing...service, etiquette, attentiveness, you name it....they more than made up for what started out to be one of the worst evenings. The food was awesome...cannot complain about a thing!!! The food and service inside the restaurant really saved the day for us. We would certainly be back....just hope this woman has her day off on the day we decide to dine next at Social by Heinz Beck!
