Social Beer Haus is located on Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary: 220 8 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 1B5. Now that you know where we are located, WHY hangout with us?

First, let’s talk — food and drinks! Are you a lover of southern smoke texas style bbq, as well as craft beer, whiskey and wine? Yes? Awesome! In a nutshell, that’s our food identity.

Secondly, when you hang out with us, our focus is to make you feel more than welcome. Most importantly, we are creating a super fun atmosphere where everyone can socialize and be HAPPY!

Our server and the bouncer were nice enough, but the rest of the staff was incredibly rude. Our party was basically half of the patrons in the bar, but it took forever to get anything. Generally the food tasted good, but had a tendency of being under seasoned or overcooked. Our big problem with our experience was we asked if the bills had auto gratuity and the server straight up lied to our faces; our party double tipped because they didn’t actually give us our bills so we never saw the auto gratuity charge

We had a delicious meal at Social Beer Haus. The queso dip is addicting! Loved the burrito bowl. Service is always on point. Server was very friendly and attentive. Overall nice vibe and you can’t beat the price! 🙌 Perfect place to host a celebration like a birthday.

Was in for lunch today with some clients. I had the Nashville sandwich and it was excellent. The beer selection is quite extensive including a lot of local beers. Our group certainly enjoyed the experience and we will be back. One last thing, the service was excellent.

We were really disappointed in the food. It was flavourless and cold. Did enjoy the Mac and cheese and potato salad though but those were just the sides. Won’t be back.

Restaurant posted availability for late night dining. Made a reservation, took an Uber to get there, arrived before reservation time to be told restaurant was closed. Messaged restaurant- their response was ‘thanks for letting us know’. Definitely won’t reserve again. Would suggest they update availability to avoid having customers make reservations when the restaurant is closed.
