SoCal Kitchen + Bar (formerly Del Mar SoCal Kitchen) is a full-service restaurant, offering the best of California-inspired dishes and cocktails. The restaurant pays homage to a SoCal Kitchen with “good food, good vibes and good times to remember.”

The talented culinary team led by Executive Chef Mike Fick, is fanatical about freshness and uses only the best fare from the farm, garden and sea. The restaurant also has a heavy focus on vegetarian and gluten free options.

SoCal Kitchen + Bar offers Brunch, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm.

    Don’t like the new menu. Had a great fish sandwich the changed and dropped fish of the day. Sushi was good.

    The entire visit was lovely; from the friendly and competent greeting and seating experience; to our server MJ who kept the right level of attention and suggestions; to the great food that has just the right blend of familiarity and distinctiveness- always delicious. Great visit.

    Ordered a medium well steak - it came out medium rare with cold fries. They brought it back- didn’t wait for me to check it and walked away. It was still bleeding and no fries. Had to wait, again , quite a while to flag our server down to let them know the steak hadn’t been cooked more. He then left to get a manager and we had to wait some more. At this point, we gave up. They did remove the food - as they should have since we didn’t eat it. Between the kitchen being off and the service being poor - can’t see returning

    It was one of my employees last days before they moved and my birthday so I took them here randomly picking it off of OpenTable. Food was 10/10 we got the Brussels sprouts appetizer 8/10 , the garlic bread 11/10 appetizer which is must try it was amazing , the one app with the crunchy rice and salmon I think it was 8/10 , and the chicken tinga taquitos 10/10. For our entires we got the filet , the chicken , and one of the pastas , all 10/10. The service was 11/10, the guy that served us was extremely sweet and even surprised me with a dessert and also my employee for his going away. I would 100% be back

    Food took a very, very long time! An hour for tacos and a fish sandwich. Food was great and served was so nice.

    Our server was excellent! She helped with a couple decisions and had some fun banter with our child. The food was great and we really enjoyed our visit.

    Gorgeous restaurant, great service. Food portions way too large and just average at best. I don't need a sandwich so big I can't pick it up. Food was more like a good chain restaurant.

    Colin was an awesome host & server. It was my birthday & I felt extremely blessed. The Rockfish wasn’t my favorite but the Salmon was a smash hit💯💯.
