A 100-year old fourth-generation winery, San Simeon wines are estate grown on certified sustainable vineyards in Monterey and Paso Robles, CA. Great vibe for a relaxed dining experience. 8oz filet was superb! Caesar side salad was a bit of a let down. Very bland, like eating a bowl of lettuce and croutons. “Heck yeah I want bread” was delish but should not have been considered an appetizer and should have been included with the meal. Our server, Heather was excellent!

D.J. is the MAN!!! Took very Great care of us on our Daughter's 16th B Day! Food was GREAT! Couldn't ask for better service. Atmosphere/environment perfect!!! Definately recommend to celebrate any special moments in your life!! FYI there are a few items on menu that aren't as pricey for a casual dinner, but the steak is THE BST I've ever had. Keep doing what your doing SOB!!!

This was our 2nd visit. Our first was amazing (1 year ago). This time we were not so impressed. Ordered NY strip medium rare, lobster tail, Mac and cheese pancake and crab cakes to start. Crab cakes were very good. Steak was easily medium well. Server was over selling which made us want to leave quicker. Server was not listening to our responses to any questions which makes me think if they incorrectly placed our steak temperature. It ruined our visit unfortunately. Have generally 3 stars as the other food was very good. $200 for this visit was very unreasonable. We might return in a year or 2 since the first visit was so good and assume the order was placed wrong.

Very beautiful restaurant, service was excellent Paul our server was very friendly. The crabcakes were impeccable! The million dollar deviled eggs were also excellent . I only have two complaints, it was very cold inside the restaurant. Even with a sweater on I was frozen, sitting underneath an air conditioner vent. And they were out of the Wagyu beef, which is one of the reasons why we went there. Otherwise, excellent experience, we will be back!

We always enjoy our time here. The maitre d always remembers my wife and is a very pleasant person whether speaking to the customers or staff. The food is fantastic every time and has only improved with the new head chef.

This place is definitely about the "experience" - from choosing your own knife to smoking your bourbon at the table to dry ice with dessert. The food is outstanding and the service was great, too. Not your standard "steakhouse" vibe... decor is a little dark and moody. But we will definitely be going back.

Expectations are the root of all heartache. While the service is exceptional, the food is grossly overpriced. SOB is charging chef menu prices for chain quality execution. For the money you would be happier looking elsewhere. The decor is confusing, the vibe found on the website does not come through to the real atmosphere. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating, the idea is there but the overall execution falls short. The gnocchi is bland with a very mediocre mouthfeel, I imagine there are menu choices here that hit well but I was underwhelmed with the lamb and chicken dishes.

Great experience. First time at this location and will definitely consider returning. Went for our anniversary and we were well taken care of. Excellent bourbon selection at the bar. Food was exceptional. Every suggestion was spot on. Ambiance also really cool. All artwork in the buidling created by a single artist who spend 4 months designing. Definitely worth a shot!

Our waitress was magnificent. Our food was good although the steak needed something - more. Not sure what. 🤷‍♀️ Cocktails were cute, fun drinks/experiences. The ambiance was ruined by a gentleman and his family - all of whom had clearly too much to drink. And despite multiple diner complaints and comments of concerns about their behavior, the group was not removed until the gentleman was removed from the restaurant after shouting out the F word loudly. We had our kids with us - but either way it was disruptive.

Great special occasion spot! We enjoyed celebrating our son's college graduation and Mother's Day at S.O.B. Prior to making the reservation, I checked the menu and was pleased to see so many choices. The cheese and meat board was an excellent appetizer for sharing and the Lara's bread was delicious. My husband and I shared the 22 oz ribeye and our sons each ordered the domestic wagyu filet and everything was cooked perfectly. For sides, we shared the brussel sprouts, whipped potatos and mushrooms. In honor of Mother's Day, we received a complementary dessert. Service was very good.

The food was excellent! Our server was Wesley and he was amazing and went the extra mile for us! The manager came around and spoke with us several times and was very friendly!!
