My first time there. Had a group of 13. I had increased the reservation size a couple of times and they accommodated us well. Great experience.
SO is on of Little Rock's Gems. A great place to take friends, everyday dining as well as an elegant dinning experience. Superb staff and Veo is back. What else could you want. I do miss the Halibut. The oysters are fantastic especially the Blue Point. I found a small pearl in mine last evening.
Went there for Valentine's Day. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was excellent! That night, the menu was set so we didn't get to order off of the full menu. Next time we will, though. The oyster appetizer was oh-sooo delicious!
Overpriced for what was delivered. Understand it was a special day, but it wasn’t worth the cost. Appetizer was frozen, literally frozen, and had to be sent back. Simply not a quality experience.
Service and management were absolutely amazing. Food was top notch.
Don't trust the hours on Opentable. They are wrong. Apparently they don't even check to see when they have reservations or adjust their weekday hours.
Our experience at So was outstanding. The food was creative and incredible, the service was top notch and the restaurant itself was pleasantly quiet while at the same just enough ambient music for us to be able to converse privately. The staff was genuinely excited about the menu, and our dishes were expertly executed. We will definitely be going back to So sooner than later.
I would definitely recommend SO to others the food was great and the atmosphere excellent!
Were seated but waitress didn’t come over right away. We liked the wine list. All dishes were excellent and great presentation. A bit pricey for frequent visits.
Amazing food and great service.
The wait staff has some work to do. We had to ask twice to place our orders. The duck was chewy. Seafood fondue was divine. There is a street light that shines very brightly in the back room. Some window covering is needed to help remedy the blinding.
This restaurant continues to be one of the best in Arkansas
Excellent service and amazing food. We couldn’t have had a better experience to celebrate our anniversary.
Great atmosphere and delicious food! Would definitely recommend for a quiet date night!
My wife and I had dinner on NYE and of course SO was fantastic in every facet. The chef even came out to ask about our meal. I could rave on.
Great atmosphere and service. The food selection with the prix fix menu and quality was good, but not noteworthy. I’d come back, but not for New Years Eve.
Very disappointed in the small menu!!! I understand scaling things back but it did not represent very many palates. We struggled with what we might order. 1 beef, 1 seafood, and 1 vegan option???? Really that’s it’s???? Had I seen it prior I would have canceled our NYE reservations!!!!! The worst part is the food was not very good. The appetizers were the best part of the meal, and they were great!!!! Seafood bisque had a weeks worth of salt, the prime rib was average and that’s including the Las Vegas buffets prime rib. Desert was pulled off a pre made rack!
Although we frequent So more often, this night was another of my family's Christmas eve's at So (now a running >5year tradition). Used Open Table to make the reservation, which is essentially early for a holiday. They were very obliged to honor my request for the "front room by the window", which is much better than the back enclosed patio. Service was a little confusing at first, but then we figured out who out actual waiter was. Wine recommendation was great and actually a value. Food was AMAZING! They've recently re-done their menu, but will still prepare any of their classics if you ask. The Sea Bass was the best I've ever had and I've ordered it all over the country. Steak was perfectly cooked (and my son is picky). Oh and the Chocolate sack is always fun to share !!
Can't say enough good things about this classic neighborhood gem! Hope to spend many more Christmas Eve's and other nights with them
Great time, amazing food & very attentive service.
Our waiter was amazing!! We had a table of 8, which is difficult to keep everyone satisfied. Our waiter had our drinks out in a snap every time!! Love this place!!
Outstanding service with a wonderful variety of tasteful delights and wine list to match. Well worth ever penny. We will definitely be Back!
Charming restaurant with an intimate feel and quiet enough for conversation, perfect for a white table cloth business dinner or special occasion. I have enjoyed 5+ outstanding small dinner parties here and will continue to come back, one of my favorite restaurants in Little Rock.
Always fantastic and a special affair.
This place was great, we had a blast and will for sure be back. Food, company, wine, service, and atmosphere were top notch!
My husband and I recently ate st So to celebrate his fiftieth birthday. I had let the restaurant know in advance of the occasion so our server made everything perfect from her suggestions on the main course selections, the upgraded wine (the one I chose, the restaurant was out of) to the free celebratory dessert. It’s rare to find, in my opinion, both great food and service and So did not disappoint.
So is always great. Chef Cody Rudd leads a super star kitchen team with great creativity and the talent to match wines with whatever is being presented.
Lovely hidden away gem, fantastic menus Nd delightful craft cocktails
While there were many tables available in the front two rooms of the restaurant, we were seated at the very back room with just one other table who was finishing up when we were seated, so we were basically alone. Kind of odd. The wine selection is extensive and food/service were great. This place is on the expensive side, but the quality of the food matches the price point. All in all, a great little neighborhood spot. Next time, we'll hopefully be seated in at a better table.
Everything about this place was awesome! It helps when the food is excellent...but when you throw in great service, you’re in for a treat. Make sure you have the chocolate sack dessert.
WE CAME ON A SATURDAY EVENING !THIS PLACE WAS RECOMMENDED TO US . WHEN WE ARRIVED ,THE ENTRANCE IS IN THE BAR AREA .IT HAS A CEMENT FLOOR AND BRICK WALLS. IT WAS VERY NOISY. WE HAD TO USE THE RESTROOMS AND DISCOVERED THERE WAS ONLY ONE FOR THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. THE MEN AND WOMEN BOTH USED THIS ONE REST ROOM. THE MENU WAS WRIITEN IN SMALL PRINT AND VERY HARD TO READ. IT WAS ALSO A LITTLE DIRTY. THE SELECTION WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED ON THERE WEB SITE. SEVERAL ITEMS WERE NOT THERE. THE FOOD WAS REALLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE . THE POTOES WERE UNDER COOKED. THEY HAD FLAT NOODLES SUBSTITUTED FOR THE LINGUINI. THE CHICKEN WAS TO TOUGH TO CUT. WE HAD TO ASK FOR BREAD. IT WASN'T VERY MUCH OR VERY GOOD. THE WAITRESS NEVER OFFERED US DESERT. I GAVE IT A 2 STAR . I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A 1 STAR .
