   Do not recommend three hour waiting for food They do not know how to run a restaurant. They were very polite but they have no business running a restaurant making it a one star restaurant several tables with same lack of service would not recommend especially with the upper priced menu They would have been better not being open

   I made a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch…we were put into the back dining room, which had a broom and all kinds of trash on a serving area we asked to be moved to a different room… it was a brunch the food was not OK we asked for a knife which we were giving one for four people. The pork was so tough you couldn’t cut it. The waiter spilled coffee all over my husband’s suede shoes. The coffee was served in Moscow mule mugs what can I say? It was close to $300 for four people it was ridiculous. I’ve never been so insulted. I called and told them about my experience and they asked me not to badger them. I can’t go back to this restaurant…

   We made reservations waited at door over 30 minutes and no one greeted us then we waited 30 minutes for drinks we never received our food !!! After a 830 reservation we left at 1047 with no food and horrible service !!

   We’re out of that. Was the go to for dinner this evening . Also I feel like the food is just ok. Getting the roast at 38$ a plate maybe it shouldn’t be instant potatoes. I’ve been on the fence about them for a while. Time to find a new place for dinner

   With only 4 tables with customers and reservations the food took over a hour and a half to come to the table and when the food made it to the table all 3 dishes were cold and 2 of the 3 dishes were very overcooked.

   Out of the gumbo entree that I came for and oysters. Food was excellent and service was good. Gnats in the dining room did not exactly mean the place was clean. Pricey! Drinks were great as well.

   Our food was salty. We asked for menu recs by several guests & all said the food was rich in flavor but salty. I agreed after having two courses of the meal. Server was okay. Didn’t know drink costs & only came back to deliver food. He did not to ask for accommodations or if we needed/wanted anything else. Lastly, our food was not worth what we paid. $400. Please stop over charging for salty food and mediocre service. We had 2 drinks each & the Valentine’s Day dinner. There was no way our ticket should’ve been what it was w/ $12 drinks. $125PP was steep for what we received. We paid the bill but will not be returning.

    Horrendous experience. Very sad because this restaurant had a great reputation around Little Rock…I hope they can get it together soon. The service, food, and management was not up to par. Our reservation was for 6:30, and we put in our order as soon as we were sat..8:30 rolls around and we still had not received our main course. When we talked to the manager about the food being late he accused us of just putting in our order 10 minutes ago when it had been in for hours. Very unprofessional and raised his voice at us in front of other customers. Dumpster fire of an establishment

    I am embarrassed for this restaurant and have never seen a more unorganized way to run a business. Had a reservation at 7:45, but wasn’t seated until 8:30. Almost half of the menu was unavailable at that point in the evening and didn’t receive our entrees until 9:45. We were at the restaurant for 3 hours, with the food being only mediocre and almost too salty to eat.

    No valet service as listed and parking situation is terrible. We were seated at a corner table in the back and the outside light was blinding....decorative drapes on the other windows but not on this one....we had move chairs around so we were not in line with the spotlight. Windows were dirty and wood ceiling was peeling with trim falling down. We were told by waitress that they were out of 3/10 appetizers. We ordered 2 others and then were told one of those was unavailable. Neighboring table overheard the conversations and volunteered that we were not missing anything....crabcakes were not very good. Ordered a glass of wine after the appetizers arrived and 10 minutes later had not received. Asked waitress and she asked again what wine I ordered....forgot place the bar order. Manager came out to us after the appetizer snafu to apologize and comp the other appetizer (which still showed up on the final bill). After we ordered our entres, it took 10-15 minutes to get the salad and main course came out 10 minutes later....neither entre was hot as if sitting on counter for extended period.     Waitress was inattentive and rude. Sat for over an hour and still didn’t have anything but a plate of lettuce as our salad. There were no apologies, just a rude waitress that didn’t seem to want to be there. They were out of 1/4 or more of the menu. A terrible experience. No one in the restaurant had food when we left.     I love SO and have had some great meals there. However, this last experience was awful. The waiter said there were no drink menus or no wine lists. (The couple at the next table over passed us theirs.) There were exceptionally long waits to order, to get drinks and to get food. When the food finally arrived, the order was delivered incorrectly. One entree came 10-15” after the other three, and a salad never came.

    Went for New Year’s Eve to celebrate. The restaurant had their Prix Fixe menu that night which consisted of a four course meal. Our reservation was for 8:30. We arrived a little early and had no problem waiting for our table to be ready. We were sat fairly quickly. We selected our entrees in a timely manner all to be served our second course meal by 10pm. We realized how late it was and asked the waiter if we could get our other two meals to go. He had no clue we hadn’t received our other two meals and they weren’t even being made at this point. He offered a $20 comp off of each of our meals to compensate for the meals. The Prix Fixe menu was about $160pp which was not a problem if we had the opportunity to experience the meal in its entirety. We ended up paying for $140 pp before tip for our 2 course meal. Overall the waiter was decent, it was a busy night and he did his best but the management could definitely be better.

    This place is hilarious. It was like someone had an idea about how a nice restaurant should be and went ahead and decided to do it without any research or experience. Not that many people in the restaurant, but the staff was SWAMPED, apparently there was a private NYE party downstairs. So..15 to 20 min drinks. Apparently there’s also garage downstairs? There were two guys starting some kind of race car and we had to close the windows because it was SO loud. We had a good conversation with the table over about what the fume smell was. Starter fluid! Our courses came out a little slow, but the table next to ours waited close to 2 hours for their main course to come out. My date got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was completely raw and the grits were mashed potatoes. They comp’d her meal, but it was time to cut our losses and get something else to eat. So we decided to just pay and leave (I didn’t finish my meal) Spent over $200 (WITH a comp’d meal) on a terrible, but rather hilarious comedy that they call SO (bad?) Restaurant.

    Lamb chop was raw. Took 2 hours to get entree. Service was more than terrible. Food not worth the money we spent on it. There was a party downstairs that probably got all the attention. We will not come back.

    Very slow service, ran out of bread, took 2 hours. We were only one of 2 tables. All good came out separately with about 20 mins from first plate to last. Food was cold. Lobster was cold, chewy and not edible, worst risotto ever, not cooked. Steaks were good. Mac- terrible, Caesar salad, not edible. Waitress, when we saw her, only made excuses and never apologized. Never saw a manger. Would not recommend and will not go back. Cute place, terrible experience.

    Unfortunately the whole "fine dining" experience was horrible. First of all the 2 wines I ordered were able to be found. The appetizer was supposed to have heirloom tomatoes instead there were 2small cherry tomatoes. I ordered the sea bass which was not available. My wife ordered Gnocchi and there were at best 5 Gnocchi in the dish. The price was exorbitant for what we got. It is very sad as SO used to be such a good restaurant.

    I liked the staff. They did their best to get the meal to us in a short period of time. We both enjoyed the meal along with the wine that complmented the taste. Between eating and talking time went by quickly. After we left we talked about how it made us feel happy. We are just begining to know one another. The ambiance made the evening come together.     First time I have been back in several months. Service was much improved. Several items on the menu were not available due to a truck that didn't arrive. Filet, ordered at medium rare, was overcooked and tough. This is a beautiful restaurant with tons of potential that has slipped considerably over the years. I hope they can turn it around.

    The French onion soup was the bomb!!!! So awesome. The Caesar salad was a bit fishy, not a fan of all the anchovies. The gnocchi was not good, Over cooked dumplings w/ an off putting sauce. Person that ordered the duck breast was pleased as were the two that split the seafood fondue. I would try it again, and the specialty cocktails were really good.

    Our party of four waited over 1 1/2 hours for our entrees. Three out of four were not up to SO standards. We have considered SO as one of our favorite places to dine in Little Rock for years. Pretty certain it was a staffing problem and we will be back.

    My family and I went to So to celebrate my daughter’s 24th birthday. We wanted it to be a special night since she came back home to visit us. I made a reservation for 6:30pm and we were seated promptly. It was stifling hot in the dining area. We are all thin people who are cold natured and were still hot. We asked to taste some wine and the taster had gone to vinegar (maybe from the heat?) We asked to taste a different wine and were brought the same vinegar. So, we ordered something different than either. It turned out to be good. There were 1 soup and 2 salads on the menu. One duck dish, one chicken, 2 steaks, 2 fish. We ordered 1 of the salads - after ordering, the waiter apologized that they were out leaving 1 salad option. They were out of soup as well. Two of us ordered the chicken and the waiter said they only had 1 left so that was another order that had to be modified. They charged $6 for plain bread. By 8pm after all the menu changes we finally got our dinner. When we asked about dessert they only had two options. The waiter acknowledged our daughter’s birthday, but they did nothing for her…no complementary piece of cake or anything special. Just very disappointed overall with this restaurant and I won’t go back. Hot, horrible night club sounding music, with a limited and sparse menu. Food was just okay. $$$
