Beautiful place , the food was very good.
The wait staff were amazing but the actual manager is a joke, when I came we stood at the hostess podium for 10 minutes before anyone would talk to us, the manager was there and pretended like we were invisible.
The place was nice the food was good, though one dish the ceviche was not what we expected the shrimp was grilled (not cured in citrus) and when it came out it look like the waiter was on a swaying boat the plate look like the the food slid back and forth on it. Service was a bit slow but we felt more sorry than annoyed our server look to be trying her best she apologized and mention they was short staffed on Mother’s Day of all days, smh. Also when she was able to slow down and connect with us I found it’s her first day back since being off because of the pandemic. The globe worked out because the weather changed to rain we didn’t get to explore or experience anything else with the roof top really because of this but it look like it would have been enjoyable and picture worthy on a sunny day. The globe pricing also wasn’t bad for brunch with 4 ppl, I feel also for dinner as long as I have a full table of 6ppl to hit the minimal.
My only suggestion would be to look into validating or at least discount the parking.
Service was extremely slow. We were told the minimum purchase was $500. We were wondering whether or not we’d even have the opportunity to hit the minimum. Our reservation was at 9pm, and we were told our reservation block was for 2 hours. We didn’t get our drinks until 10. It took about 45 minutes for each service request to go through. I have a feeling things were starting up again after covid and everyone was getting re-acclimated, which is understandable. Everyone was very friendly though. They were clearly working hard and it seems like the staff was stretched very thin. We look forward to going back and giving it another shot.
Heres my honest opinion. Everyone talked about the corn bread. Save your money go to boston market youll get bigger and better ones there for a fraction of the price. Paid 150 for a bottle of sangria . First, the bottle looked more like a vase . Thin glass and it was the worst sangria Ive tasted. And Ive tasted many. The only good thing about our dinner was the Salmon. And our server he was a blast to talk too. The setting was beautiful. But the food not worth it at all. We even ordered dessert hoping it would be good. Was so bad we couldnt finish it. Sorry everyone has there opinion and this one is mine.
Had an excellent time
Service excellent even the DJ was amazing and very pleasant
Beautiful rooftop restaurant . Amazing views. The service took a very long time. We have to wait long time to be seated, to initially be served, for utensils, and our drinks. Not much food and cocktails choices but the food was delicious. Some of our food item were cold. It would have also helped if the outside of our snow globe was cleaned. Otherwise we made the best of night.
Food was subpar and the food service was slow. They expect us to be out within the two hour limit from these igloos but food doesnt come until a hour later. Probably wont come back not worth it.
It is a beautiful place, very clean and new. The service was good, the food was ok. Eggs Benedict we all ordered the same thing, the eggs where not running and over done, the Canadian ham was a little burnt and just one slice of it. The pancakes where dry with rationed syrup. Not the friendliest workers. The igloos get really hot in the sun. Has potential beautiful place.
Really good drinks, although they were expensive. The cornbread and grilled shrimp were particularly delicious.
Beautiful and great place!!!! I can’t wait for come back
I booked this for my best friends birthday. We reserved the snow globe and she loved it. The ambiance was beautiful. The food was amazing. That corn bread, the BEST I’ve ever had. Overall, this place was dope and I’ll be back with more people lol.
Food was excellent! Service was worst then going to burger king
Great atmosphere, food and drinks were really enjoyable. Price is a little high. But it was a good time.
Parking can be a little confusing, but once you realize it’s in the Envue hotel you’re fine.
The dining experience was great. Service did get a little busy at times, but the view and the food is amazing. Great for a date, special occasion, or to have scenic views. The food was great and our server was nice enough to capture photos for us. There was music playing, which added to the experience and we reserved the snow globe, which was an amazing experience in itself.
Definitely recommend for a date night.
Then menu could have some additions to the entree’s, but this is by no mean a negative concerning the reviews. Again, the choice selection is amazing.
NoHu rooftop was amazing!!! Very spacious and elegant, they respected social distancing and wore masks all the time. Once you entered the rooftop, the view is breathtaking! And the Snow Globes give you an intimate atmosphere: it was all white and they gave you a fluffy soft blanket as well. I was surprised how warm it was. The decor is very cozy and the view with the city added a magical touch. I felt very special... Now Let me get to the food : Chef Ed’s Mac and cheese, ribs and fried chicken were so delicious! The sides dishes were so tasty! We enjoyed oysters so much that we had to order the Baller as well. I had such a blast and will definitely come back. Thank you for all the staff that were very friendly and professional, specially our waiter: his energy was very contagious!
We were in a snow globe on a beautiful early spring night. A portable heater was supplied. Extremely comfortable !. Nice to eat in a restaurant and not have crowd noise in the background. Very peaceful and nice to talk with friends we have not socialized with in over a year. We were all vaccinated so felt very comfortable.
Food was very good and the server very attendant. We were a little taken back with the $ 250 food/drink minimum to reserve a snowglobe, but figured between the 4 of us, we would easily spend that. Would like to sit on the terrace without the snowglobe when it gets warmer. The only negative was the limited menu. Not a very big selection and they were out of the bottle of wine the server recommended as well as the one deserts we were going to order.
Since the gratuity is included by default staff doesn't try their best
Guests don't have a possibility to provide a fair feedback on the service
Great place to go with friends or a date. The grilled shrimp and cornbread appetizers are a must have. You will not be disappointed. The drinks were tasty and had some kick to it. Overall a great spot. I will be back
Nohu’s ambiance was amazing! The service was slow. I wouldn’t go back for the food but would return for the drinks and the view!
The whole experience was simply amazing! The staff was very friendly, the food was superb, the view is breathtaking and the decor is beautiful.
Went there to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and it was an absolute delight! Our waiter (can’t remember his name) was honestly the best server we’ve had. He was kind and polite and very attentive. He even brought us his speaker for us the enjoy our own music inside our “snow globe” The food was different and delicious and not tiny amounts as usual in upscale restaurants. We will be coming back here for more celebrations in the future for sure!
Best outdoor dining experience to date! The snow globes are so well done. They are spacious, nicely lit with interior lighting, heated and the NYC view was perfect. We all throughly enjoyed our meals, from appetizers to dessert. The cauliflower “steak “ was the best I have ever had. Great drinks and the ice cream sundae was super yummy.
Our server was excellent and went above and beyond. We look forward to returning again soon.
I look forward to an expanded menu as the season changes.
We booked this to celebrate two birthdays and a big business deal. The ambience was amazing and service was great! The snow globe experience was lots of fun, but the $500 minimum was a bit much, though we did spend it and more. We did feel that the prices were very high, especially the seafood tower, which was $175 - it had a lobster tail and a few claws, 4 beautiful shrimp, about a dozen oysters and 6 clams. Delicious, but not even close to worth the price. My sister and I shared the fried chicken for $70 and though the menu said it was a whole chicken there were no breasts, only wings, thighs and legs. The coating was heavy and sweet, not especially to our linking. The eggplant appetizer and cornbread were to die for, and the steaks and desserts were good. Overlooking Manhattan and watching the sunset made it all okay. Snow globes and fire pits were so fun.
The food was terrible! Service ok
Service was verrrrrrrry slow.. took into account they may be busy but we didnt get a waiter in our igloo for the first 45 minutes of sitting down.. i also specifically asked in the open table notes and also called the restaurant to
Confirm we could do something special for my friend because it was a special day for him.. Although they verbally agreed to bring out dessert with a candle nothing of that sort was done.. overall experience was poor.. food was excellent as was ambiance.. service was beyond poor
great food and cocktails, amazing skyline view of midtown NYC!
Excelente servicio ,comida completamente deliciosa ,super amables
The environment is beautiful, food selection is poor and expensive, and quality is just right. I don’t mind paying for food when is good but this one was just ok and very expensive, very few options to choose from the menu too.
We had a great time. Great ambiance and experience.
Very cool experience with a very limited menu so check it out prior to arrival. Service was very good with the exception of the hostess who seemed annoyed to have to go outside. Would recommend the whole fried chicken. It is enough for 2-3 people. They do add an automatic gratuity to any bill. The view and experience was well worth the money
The service was impeccable. The food was not up to par. Had the ribs and truth be told as big as they were there was little meat on the bones and the ribs were tough. I expect ribs to fall off the bone and not have to fight to scrape them off the bone. The cornbread was stale. But the view and service we had was impeccable. The also have a heater in the igloo but you either need more than 1 I would say 3 or 4 if you plan on having 6 people in the tent or different heaters.
Overall for ambiance and view I would come back. If it were for the food I would not.
We attended brunch on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday. The ambience was nice even with raining conditions. Each igloo has a heater and blankets so we were comfortable.
The food and drinks we good. I will definitely visit again and would recommend this restaurant to others. Even the inside dining space was nice and everyone was 6ft apart.
My family and I celebrated my birthday and we had a wonderful time. It was beautiful, safe and out server was the best! The hostesses were so kind, all in all we can’t wait to go back!
The hostess Stalin was super attentive to us when we arrived to wait for the rest of our party. We booked an igloo for the night. Our waiter Rahat was friendly and it was my first time here , he was very helpful with his suggestion. We loved everything he had suggested. Great ambiance and Rahat had allowed us to play music in our igloo. The plate we ordered was to share and was yummy! Definitely would come again!!!
Although we lucked out with a sunny day and appreciate that the igloos were heated, it was WAY TOO HOT to sit still. Other than that everything was great! Drinks, menu, service and overall ambiance were all fabulous. Will definitely recommend and go back again.
Love love love loved this place!!
I highly recommend this place. It is super cute and cozy even if it is cold outside. The waiter we had was amazing as well, super friendly. When we asked for recommendations on what to get, he knew exactly what to say, and he was not wrong. The only bad thing that really isn't bad is, the prices, it has a spending minimum. It is so worth it, especially with the view!! AMAZING.
