I should’ve heeded the advice of other reviewers. The service was really bad. I had to hunt down a server. The food was not bad. Mushrooms were great. French dip was good. I don’t know how the salads were because they ere never delivered to our table though we ordered two. The drinks were sparse. I ran out of tea and waited 15-20 minutes to order a refill that took another 10 to get delivered. I was however charged for the salads. Bonus. So, great location, food not bad, service is infuriating. Choose your battles.
They did not take reservations. Very noisy and not alot of people. Good location.
Super good food. Amazing beer! Great prices for the amount of food you get !
Incredible service and the best IPA I’ve had. Try the salmon and the “Triple Citrus IPA”!! Incredible hospitality.
Always a wonderful place to eat. A hidden gem. More people should check it out. Many food options to choose from.
Great food as always. Our server was excellent. He was attentive to our needs/requests and was present but not overbearing.
We’ve dined here at the snow eagle multiple times and have always enjoyed the experience. This was our first time trying the sushi and I would rate it in the top 2 for sushi in Idaho falls. The staff was amazing and very tentative without being overbearing, which is always appreciated. I highly recommend the snow eagle brewing!
In our plans to travel back to Nevada/Arizona for work related sales events. We put off our departure from home several hours late so that we could justify spending an evening in Idaho Falls so that we could go back to Snow Eagle Brewing and Grill, because we had enjoyed so much at our last visit.
Not only did it set us back time, but financially, it was Extremely disappointing. Dry over-cooked Stuffed pork w/ no garlic but dry mashed potatoes-said to be Garlic mashed. Grilled Tuna sandwich, unacceptable!! One of our favorite beers, so much head on it when served, Rip-off!! Unfriendly, better things to do? staff.
Yes, I’ve worked in Very Reputable Restaurants while in College. I’m appalled, it was a Horrible Experience!!!
Food as always was very good. Service tonight was very slow
Food was average at best. The ahi tuna sandwich was way over cooked. We ordered a salad that came 15 minutes after our sandwich was served. Kind of off putting. The salad was good though.
We went here for dinner on our way to Jackson Hole, Wy. It seemed like a good compromise since my husband wanted a beer and I was wanting sushi. The about on their webpage claimed to have chefs trained in Japan in sushi making. The restaurant did not have one Japanese beer. I decided against ordering sushi and went with a burger and fries. When I asked the waitress if she could get us a side of aioli, she had no idea what I was asking for. She kindly asked the chefs in the kitchen. She came back and told us they looked at her strangely when she asked if they knew about aioli and could not make any.
Our food was fine but our server was not friendly at all. We had a party of about 14 & he wasn't pleasant to anyone at our table. We were there at off hours & it wasn't busy. It would be hard for me to go back just due to the service. I always tip no matter what but it was REALLY hard to leave a tip this time.
Worst food and most incompetent service I have ever had- the manager, the cook and wait staff need to be replaced-
Neat bar, meet the owner, Good food, cool place
We arrived and we're told if we older from the sushi menu it would take an hour to get food so we ordered from the regular menu. Still took more than an hour for our entree to arrive and we never received our salads. We forgot about them until after we had let the restaurant. Food was good but nothing special. Beer was excellent but only got 1 because the waiter was nonexistent. We visited with locals who said it was not normal for the service to be so poor or for food to take so long.
Food was great as well as service The fried mushrooms as well as the Iron Steak were very good. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Not impressed with the very poor service. We walked out when the waiter ignored us while walking by our table three times. I received a call from the restaurant owner about 30 minutes later apologizing for the service problem. I was very impressed with his call and told him we would give his establishment another try when returning to Boise; if he could guarantee better service.
I had the burrito- it was great !
We also shared two different desserts, they were both amazing
Loved the atmosphere , fun place!
A good place for craft beer and ales and very good bar food.
Had great food and drinks. Only downside they forgot to bring the side dressing for my entree salad. When I did get it it made the salad great instead of just so so
Server wasn't very attentive. Sushi was mediocre. But we had a good time.
The pizza was delicious and our waitress was awesome! Our only complaint was when we told the hostess that we made an OpenTable reservation, she rolled her eyes and huffed off to get our menus like it was an inconvenience that we made the reservation.
I disagree with the current ratings, so while this is not a Michelin rated restaurant I think its rating should be higher for what it is - a brewpub. Overall the food is excellent. Coming from an area with outstanding Japanese food, I had the tonkatsu which came with tempura and both were good. Salad and sandwiches were also good, as were the kids menu corn dog bites. We really liked Ty's Cream Ale as well. Service was great as opposed to prior reviews. Ambience is a brewpub, limited outdoor seating which is across the street from the falls. We would be happy to go back.
The trout was awesome! Service was a little spotty. Ambiance if a brewpub.
Our service was poor. The wait person was overstretched, so not really their fault. They were also not very friendly or welcoming. Our out-of-state guests were not impressed. I was also disappointed to find that the menu offerings listed online were NOT available on the menu when we arrived. We had guests who are vegan, and they were quite disappointed.
Friendly, professional staff and a convenient location right on the Snake River in Idaho Falls. Excellent beer selection; Ty's Cream Ale is one of the best I've had. Food is exceptional whether it's a sandwich or a full entree. The place to dine in Idaho Falls!
The service was great! My food came quickly and it was delicious!
I would highly recommend Snow Eagle Brewing & Grill!
