Everything was wonderful! The Brussels sprouts were melt in your mouth heaven. Dining options included prix fixe and a la carte- all were reasonable. Service and beverages were wonderful and we look forward to going again.

Really lovely neighborhood, individually owned restaurant. Customer service is outstanding, our server was always checking to make sure you liked everything or did you need anything else. The food was excellent, great selections of greek/turkish food. The small restaurant is decorated to make you feel like you're in Greece! Nice find in the Hayfield Shopping Center.

Wow! The food was excellent. We both had the 4-course meal, which was an incredible value and offered a lot of variety. The Branzino entree was exceptional and absolutely not something I can cook at home. The server seemed apologetic when reminding us (unprompted) that it took 18min to cook. we were enjoying our conversation after paying our bill. I suspect we overstayed our welcome (as the last customers out the door), but rather than making us feel guilty, our server offered complimentary cups of tea. My only nitpick is that the dining room is a bit plain. There is seating both out front and behind the restaurant, though I didn't notice those options until we had finished our meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small basket with feminine supplies in the restroom, an offering that I've only found in restaurants with tabs 3-5x what we paid at Smyrna.

This was our first visit and we'll be back - often. The food is excellent and we want to explore their entire menu. The wait staff is very friendly and works hard to please. The chef came out to see if all was well with her customers and we were happy to rave about her food. The place is small, very clean, decorated with an Aegean theme accompanied by Aegean music. Delightful experience!

We will not return to Smyrna Aegean. Overall we were disappointed with our experience. The food was tasty, but was overpriced for what you got for the money in comparison to its competitors with similar cuisine. It was restaurant week, but when we were ready to order, only then did our server inform us we had to both order from the restaurant week menu to use it which caused a delay in ordering for us to have to change my planned order. Other restaurants don't have that requirement. I tried to order a side greek salad, but the server said I could only get a regular Greek salad. So I had to order more than I wanted and take the rest home. My souvlaki entree was served on a disposable skewer and the chicken was stuck to it which required me to manually break it into pieces to remove it and eat it. I sent the restaurant my feedback in a letter. I did receive an Email response that said they discussed my letter and what they might do differently; nothing specific. The owner then said they hoped I would come back. That's it. We love to support local small businesses, but we will take our business elsewhere going forward.

I have been to Smyrna for lunch and dinner. Both times the food was very good, and lots of choices. Staff was pleasant and helpful when trying to decided what to order. I would recommend this restaurant.

The service was outstanding and they helped us to decide what we would order with knowledge, not pushiness. When one of the meals took a few extra minutes, they brought us a taster of one of their amazing spreads. The food was authentic, fresh, and beautifully prepared. So many options and so much care definitely went into curating this menu. And a great wine list! The space was clean and bright, with lively music, and yet the noise level was really perfect. Just a din of happy customers. I am so pleased this place opened, and it's hidden away in a plaza unexpectedly. We are already planning our next visit.

Overall, we enjoyed the familiar ambiance. Service was good but it could improve. Prices are high considering the food portions. Finally, we would recommend you to consider blocking the sun somehow in the front window as the sun hit directly our table located by the window.

This was my second visit to Smyrna and both times were phenomenal. Each time we ordered a bunch of small plates to share and there wasn’t a bad bite in the bunch. The saganaki, baba ganoush, falafel, and brussel sprouts were my favorites, but everything was so tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. They made great recommendations, let us know how long things would take, and I don’t think I ever had an empty water glass or empty plate in front of me. I would not have expected such a gem tucked away in a strip mall! I can’t wait to eat here again.
