   I found the food to be every bit as good as other reviewers stated. I have traveled to the Mediterranean and found the authenticity of the food to be spot on. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The services was good. The dessert was amazing!

   First time at this restaurant and it was excellent, fresh food. We will be gong back.

   An undiscovered gem, the Greek food was out of this world! From the zucchini pancakes and homemade hummus with grilled bread, to the grilled whole Bronzino and grilled vegetables, everything was delicious, freshly prepared and served in perfect portions. Best baklava I've had in ages! Service was attentive but not over-bearing. We'll be back...and it looks like they have a very strong takeout business.

   My husband and I were looking for a good mediterranean meal in honor of the anniversary of our honeymoon. Not a big, fancy anniversary, but a remembrance in an off-year, if you will. Smyrna was a lovely surprise. It is unassuming from the outside and cozy on the inside. But the food was excellent quality with lovely seasoning. The service was very warm and friendly. We would go back!

   Small space, but not crowded. Very good food and service. Not a lot of ambiance. Good value for the money.

   The quality of the food was excellent! Yes, the restaurant is very small (only perhaps 5 tables) and it’s definitely not lavishly decorated, but the service was attentive & friendly and the food, most importantly of all, was delicious. We had the fresh homemade hummus that wad among the best I’ve ever tried, and a well cooked bronzini with a side of rice and grilled vegetables. Will definitely repeat my visit.

   Do not go there for the decor! Unimpressive BYOB Small restaurant, however perfectly clean white clothes on their few tables. All the food we had was perfectly cooked: the meze appetizers were excellent particularly the humus and made with "fresh" ingredients. The lamb kebab was delicious, so was the rice served with it and the chicken wrap. We tried two desserts and were happily surprised by their quality. As we drive from Manhatttan, we will attempt to go back to try other foods.
