Overall the food was good but the overall experience. If your not used to smoked filet steak, you may find it "different" at first. However it does melt in your mouth. They ran out, or didn't have the first 2 menu items I wanted. I believe our waiter did mention it when he handed us the menus, however that's already a red flag. Our waiter was excellent btw! The restaurant is opened from 11:30am-1:30pm and than again from 5-9pm on Sunday. With a 3 1/2 hour gap in the middle of the day, with the restaurant only filled at maybe 50% at peak dinner hours, not having main items on the menu is inexcusable. The place was only half capacity or less, based on the the amount of opened tables. The two of us were seated at a small table next to a VERY LOUD group. Our tables were so close to each other, you may have just connected them. lol. Facing east, as the group next to us got louder, all I could see were all the empty tables on the other side of the room. Although I should have stopped him initially, the host could have been more aware of the room and recommended a different table or area based on groups, families, or couples. I believe parking is available, but you can only access it from the alley or perhaps the side street. I found the lighting was a little unusual but that's a preference.

This was my Thanksgiving since I was on shift on Thursday. From the time we entered the restaurant to the end, the entire staff was on point with great flow. William was our server and made some very good recommendations that we ordered. Food arrived with perfect temperature and cooked to perfection. This was my family’s first time there and we will be revisiting soon. When we entered the restaurant, it was about a third full and got busy as time went on and I never seen the staff waver. The rotation of silverware was a plus. Entire staff stayed their lane and completed the tasks throughout the flow of the entire restaurant, which I was very impressed with. Keep up the strong work and I will definitely recommend your restaurant, to family and friends.

Thoughtful, considerate, distracted not wanting to serve wine…. Food was purposefully created, presented, risotto lagged the other items offered. Palate cleanser was desert…. Maybe err on the side of sweets rather than a sweet…. Staff; intentional and professional…. Proteins; outrageous, magnificent…. Maybe raise the rest of the fare to the level of the proteins chosen, prepared and presented…. Duck was Michelin worthy…. In fairness…. This was the first price-fixed opportunity. Would I attend another, if invited? Absolutely….

First Feast at Smoque where we are exposed to some exotic culinary ingredients ensembled in 6 course paired with hand-picked 3oz wines. The service was impeccable and experiences were outstanding. I enjoyed every minute, the noise level was high and as the host was trying to explain the courses.

Lively and fun atmosphere. Cocktails before dinner were the perfect start to the evening. Lobster bisque, Ceasar salad, harvest salad and crab cakes were our starters and were delicious. Everyone in our party ordered steak with one ordering chicken…all was excellent. Samuel was our waiter and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend Smoque Steak.

We visited just after they opened when the staff was still seemed to be training, but during this visit few months later the restaurant has its service down pat. However, the food seems to have declined slightly in quality. My steak was an overdone—I ordered the same one I got in June and it didn't live up to my first experience there. It was still tasty, just not tasty enough to justify the hefty price tag for the filet. It's still one of our favorite new places in the area, so we'll be back. Im betting it was just an off night.

First time having smoked steak and sous vide steak. Was fantastic. Subtle smoky flavor - not overpowering or too much - but nicely balanced. The Ribeye was perfectly medium rare throughout and one of the most tender and flavorful steaks I’ve ever had. Definately impressed. Our server was friendly, very engaging and attentive with- everyone had such a welcoming cool vibe. And the music was a perfect complement to the vibe - eclectic, funky and retro cool.

Had always wanted to try a Sous vide steak, and wow was I not disappointed. Ribeye was perfect. If you looked at it, you might have thought it wasn’t cooked properly, but boy it was. Moist and tender with a perfect smoked finish. Cannot wait to try mine at home, but know I will come up woefully short of theirs. Reservations only. My only advice is to come hungry.

Amazing food. Steak was unlike any steak I have tasted before. Potato and carrot side and lobster grits appetizer were great as well. Value is good, comparable to other nice steak joints I have been to. Service was fast and friendly. Noise level is moderate, so it's not a quiet place, but that was okay for us. Overall wonderful experience. Will definitely go again.

It was our second visit here. We had the special, Chateaubriand and it was fantastic! We hardly needed a knife to cut into it, it was so tender. Our server was great as well. Drinks and dessert were outstanding as well. We will definitely be back!

The price of the food does not equate to the paste, this is my second time here and both the experiences were 5/10 at best. I made a steak with chili powder, garlic , salt, pepper, sesame oil with soy sauce. 1 hr marination and then pan sear this meat.it turns out much better the quality you put out, and way less pricier.

Went there for my girlfriend and my 7 year anniversary. Service was very fast and professional. Brittney was our server. Even the host was kind and inviting. The owner or manager came by the table to wish us a happy Anniversary. They gave us 2 glasses of bubbles to toast and covered our desserts. We thought this was very generous. The steaks were cooked to the temp as we ordered them. My filet tasted great. The banana pudding dessert was tasty as well. Was a great experience. Thanks for making our special day even better. Glad we chose this place. We look forward to returning.

I had pretty high expectations coming in and I'm happy to say they were met. Food was delicious. Lighting and music was well balanced. Food drop was in a timely fashion between courses. Had a wonderful time, will be returning for brunch, would recommend.

Went to Smoque Steak for brunch today for the first time. OMG! SO good! I actually made my “I’m in heaven” face when I bit into the bacon which is normally reserved for amazing chocolate lava cake! 😀 Husband ate the beef stick on the Bloody Mary before I could take a picture. 🙃 He said it was really good.

I was excited to try out this place. My son and I went there for a Mother-Son night out. Atmosphere was nice. Service very good. I started with the Pineapple Mezqual drink and it was great! I ordered the filet and the brocollini. Both ended up being very good. Whatever seasoning the use was wonderful! My son said a bit spicy which could be why I liked it so much. My son ordered the ribeye and fries. Both great. The ribeye was a bit tough which is usually the taste. However, usually I am more of a sacrifice texture for taste girl but actually preferred my filet overall more. The only thing I wish we could have done is slowed it down a bit. From the time we were seated until the time we left was 40 min. Our food came 4 minutes after ordering. I was hoping to have more time to talk to my son but as soon as we ordered the food was there. Prices are pretty consistent with downtown prices. In general I had a nice (but short) dinner and I think this is a great feature to this area!

Lobster grits were very good and the steaks were very good. Colossal shrimp were just ordinary size and lobster bisque was more tomato soup. The service (Will) was outstanding. We had a birthday to celebrate and the birthday girl was surprised with cheesecake and a candle which was very nice. The cheesecake was very very good

Will was a fantastic server. He was attentive. He listened well to our preferences. He was fun and easy to talk with! The food was good. I liked the filet special the most and the Brie spinach spread. Cocktails for $15 with good curated ingredients was good value. Enjoyed it!
