Smoque N Bones
Our commitment to authenticity is showcased in every aspect of the restaurant, starting with our classic, Southern BBQ style menu. Everything that leaves our kitchen is made from scratch with love. Our Southern Pride smoker was tailor-made for our intimate dining room in order to provide a distinctive and genuine flavor, aroma, color, & texture in all of our meats. Even the tables have a story – topped with reclaimed wood from an old house on Palmerston and lit with bunker and prison lights from WWII.
Need to book at 12:30 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
A must for anyone who appreciates bbq and bourbon.
Delicious food! Highly recommend
Excellent service right from the time I made, and then had to modify, a reservation through to the "team approach" to table service. Food was outstanding and we'll be back to try some different combinations.
Food was tasty but service wasn't great. They took forever to clear obviously dirty dishes that should have been cleared to make more room on the rather small tables. It also took ages for them to actually bring us the bill.
Came for lunch, food and service was great especially considering that we were made aware by staff that the kitchen was running behind due to being under staffed on short notice.
Maybe because we were alerted ahead of time, but things still seemed pretty smooth and enjoyable.
Everything about smoke n bones was amazing. The service was great and the food was even better!
Portion sizes are embarrassingly small for the price.
Very personable staff. One member of our party requires GF options and there are plenty!
Food service was prompt, presentation was exceptional, and taste was excellent! Everyone cleaned their plates.
We will be back!
Went to celebrate the hubby’s birthday with a group of 11. Everyone was raving about the food and how amazing it was, some even said it was better than some BBQ places down in Texas. This is our spot, we will continue to come here on date night and with friends.
Delicious food, great staff. Music could be dialled down a tad, we were a party of four and had to yell a lot. Staff was extremely accommodating and turned it down when we asked. We will be back, and have been there many times, Smoque and Bones serve the best ribs in town.
Food and service was good.
The table was too small for the sharing tasting menu. It was uncomfortable. The place was smoked out, my eyes and throat suffered through.
Amazing food and great atmosphere.
Really enjoyed my time here. The food was delicious and our server was really great. We tried the sampler and it was perfect for two people.
Great BBQ meat, especially the brisket and peppercorn beef, the presentation of the sandwiches was very good and BBQ sauce had a bit of a bite but with great flavour.
My recommendation is mixed. Food was good but not as great as some reviews. Ordered the sampler. Same BBQ sauce for every meat was a disappointment. High tables and bar stools were not conducive of a leisurely dinner. I love smoked foods and have eaten at lots of restaurants here and other cities. This compares well but is not the best. But makes great drinks which helped a lot with the uncomfortable seats. Service is great.
Great great great
The beef ribs are amazing!
Food and service were great. Outstanding ribs, and sides! The place is cozy, but a little tight and the short stools at the tables upstairs are a little uncomfortable for any length of time....but can’t wait to go back.
The food was great as usual. And the people that work there are so friendly and nice! Even though they were SO busy on a Friday night. Out of all the places I’ve been to in Toronto, they’re the best servers/waiters in Toronto! So thank you!
Best BBQ in Toronto! The Brussel sprouts are amazing!
If you're looking for a flavourful southern bbq place, this is it! Highly recommend the share plate ☺️
Favorite restaurant in town , food is fantastic and love the ambiance
Great food but too expensive for what you get. Considering I can get more food that's generally better tasting at cherry Street without having trouble even seeing what I'm eating because it's so dark and paying a lot more for it.
Food was decent but felt really pricey for what you got. The lighting upstairs by the window was poor and it was really chilly! Otherwise is was good.
We had a great time!
Not the fanciest place not a lot of room. Tables are small. Food tastes great , but I found my ribs a little tough for my liking .
Loved sitting by the bar watching them make all the great tasting food and having fun conversations with the chefs.
Great BBQ restaurant in nice Queen St West area. The food quality and flavours were amazing. Great beer menu with local craft. My only drawback was that they do all the smoking inside the restaurant, close to where you'll sit. This does result in smelling like smoke for the rest of your evening!
The food was incredible, the service was incredible, the drinks were so good, the only thing I would change is for the food to arrive earlier, we waited a while for the food to arrive.
The meal was amazing. Best BBQ hands down. But almost fell off my chair when we got the blll. $175 for my husband and myself. And that didn’t even include the tip! We had a drunk each, the shareable meal and one dessert. Guess I should pay attention to the prices on the menu next time!
Food was amazing! It was also nice to see Alex there. Great food, great atmosphere. Will go back very soon again.
Ambience of the place was pretty average, but fitting for the kind of restaurant that it was. I don’t know that I would come back and eat here again. Ordered the dirty bird chicken sandwich. Chicken was nice and not dry. Pretty bland for what it was though. No sauce or anything in the actual sandwich and just came with slaw on it. Also for some reason it was served on a black bun? Assuming this was for Halloween or something. But would’ve liked to be told that it’d be served that way. Menu is also ambiguous. Doesn’t contain the full details of what’s included in your order. I asked the waiter if my sandwich came with fries because they have a whole section of “sides” to choose from. But it didn’t. It comes with kettle cooked chips instead. My s.o. ordered the buttermilk chicken and it was quite average as well. Comes with sauce on the side that you can coat the chicken in. We also ordered waffle fries for the table and they were great!!! Service was pretty efficient and the staff were friendly.
Still the best bbq downtown, but was a little off this time - not as great as I remembered
Amazing food, super friendly and pleasant staff. Love it!!
ribs were great brisket was ok, would go back!
I think I have tried everything on the menu and every time I go there the food is excellent! The staff is friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere. 👍🏽👍🏽
Brisket was very good and
Great food & service ! The meal for two was more than enough and I normally have a big appetite.
The food is amazing. Not disappointed at all. Our server was too notch. We were seated, served and finished within a hour.
Best place to go out with the guys. Food was incredible and everyone left stuffed. A rarity in Toronto! Looking forward to coming back.
