We offer two private dinning spaces. Our Lakeland room can seat 30, while the Garland room can seat 40. We also offer full restaurant buy-outs, patio buy-outs, our full patio can comfortably seat 120 and it can be broken into two spaces accommodating 70 in one area and 50 in another. Our patio is optionally enclosed with retractable roofs and remote control siding, all depending on weather and request of course. We have hosted events and parties ranging from full fashion shows to weddings. Our restaurant is great for rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, company parties, baby showers, graduation parties, or even just a cocktail party after work. Food, service, and drinks were wonderful. If you can only get past the hostess. We had reservations and arrived early. At 4 pm only 10 percent of the tables were occupied. Yet instead of seating us in the courtyard the hostess wanted to seat us in the lounge. After 5 minutes of negotiating the hostess finally brought us to a table in the courtyard with a snide comment that we'll be in the sun. Then she threw the menus on the table and walked away. By the way there was shade the whole time.

Something has changed?! We used to love tortilla soup. This time was more like refried beans and the 2 of us could not eat one bowl! Dropped wine off at table unopened and never poured it for us? We did it ourselves. Fish taco’s for husband were tasteless…..don’t know what fish it was. I had chicken wings which were good. Don’t order potato salad though. It’s like Kroger potato salad - nothing special but $4 a scoop. Have eaten here many times, but something changed…..won’t be returning.

This was beautiful but their parking makes the rating a 2. It is absolutely insane. We had to wait 40+ minutes to get our car from the valet and ended up having to stalk them and force them to get our car so we didn’t miss my flight home. Unfortunate because the spot is beautiful. I won’t be back.

We waited forever to be served, for our food, and for our car from valet (note - they have no self-serve parking so you have to use valet). We ordered simple apps, one which came and the other did not. My husband had to ask for the second app to come. Then it took forever to get our mains order. I think we were there for 1.5 hours for some simple food- bbq and kids food. None of that takes long. My husband’s bbq was cold, mine was dry, and the kids’ food was cold and undercooked. I have had some poor experiences there, but this was the worst. The waitress never checked on us - we always had to flag her down, and our drinks never got refilled until the end when we flagged her down for about the 4th or 5th time. When we were finished and ready to pay the bill, she was nowhere to be found. She disappeared! I waited 15 minutes to pay, and then she stood right there while I was trying to put the tip into the automated machine, and it was very uncomfortable. I ended up giving 20% although should have been less. Then I got an email this afternoon from opentable saying Smoky Rose said I didn’t check in! Icing on the cake. So now I have to contest that. Overall, an awful experience. I waited tables for 6 years, so I know there are bad days, it just happens. But this could have been fixed with a little TLC and better service experience. The food was just dreadful though. We will never ever go back.

It was a beautiful day so the place was full but the valet cut me off illegally, then our food took 45 minutes to arrive and the burnt ends were all fat. Other than that the brisket sliders were yummy and my friend and I enjoyed the patio. I will likely go back but this was not their best work.

Our entire experience was awesome!! This place is ranked as one of the best patios in Dallas and for good reason! The lights, the greenery, the music, the food, it's all on point. Everything our server recommended on the menu was delicious. I recommend sitting in the courtyard for the best views, as long as it's warm enough. We'll be back for sure!

Smokey Rose has really become a great go to restaurant-big selection of yummy food-full bar…one of the best outdoor dinings in Dallas, but indoor is just as cute on the cool days…and the service is exceptional which seems hard to come by these days!! Highly recommend for all meals all occasions!😍

Great food, good service, but this is the second time I have had a reservation for a particular place (inside/outside) that they have ignored my preference. Not sure they actually look at it when you make a request. Froze outside and asked them to please turn up the heaters, and it felt like they actually turned them off. Love their food, and ambiance though.

We had a reservation and were seated immediately in a good location for comfort and privacy. The pear salad was delicious and filling. The cheddar brisket sandwich also delicious and filling. We shared both and could not have wanted better! Took home a slice of Dr. Pepper cake for later. Yum!

Every thing was good, service and food. But really dark inside. Seriously had to use a flashlight to read the menu. Due to inclement weather the place was deserted, but it took us a while to get our check when we were ready to leave. And what’s with the lone antler on the table? Table could have looked a little more attractive.
