   A must if you're ever in Ventnor... The ambience always relaxed yet busy enough with the open kitchen adding vibrancy to the place. The food is beautifully honest, non fussy Asian fusion, cooked incredibly well to go hand in hand with a decent wine menu. Once you're all said and done, you can finish with a choice from a fine list of spirits and enjoy the superb view across the sea... well worth a visit!

   Incredible good, that my 4 and 10 year old both loved too. The two waitresses were both lovely and really helpful and kind when my 4 year old had some strange requests. A very pleasant experience all round. Thank you!

   The meal was out of this world, as usual, but what really made our day was the wonderful service from Paris. The Smoking Lobster in Ventnor is unquestionably our favourite restaurant on the island.

    Easy to book contrary to what we had been led to believe. Surprised to find a beach cafe ambience with plastic chairs and paper napkins given how expensive the meal was overall leaves me a little cold. All that said, I can’t fault the service. The food was absolutely superb and the choice on the menu was extensive enough. I would return and highly recommend.

    We enjoyed our dinner last night at Smoking Lobster! The food was delicious and fresh. Really happy with our meals and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well! Thank you! 💙

    We always eat here whenever we’re back on the island so where better to celebrate our 15th anniversary. It would have been a perfect score if it hadn’t been drafty at our table. The food , service and ambience were brilliant as always so 4.5 this time.

    Lovely food, great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great vibe being small and snug. Kitchen is visible so the noise and smells add to the ambience. Right on the beach so good views of the sea and sunshine. Food was delicious, great flavours and interesting and new cuisine ideas.

    A beautiful setting for a absolutely fantastic restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food is exceptional, we have been a few times now and literally can't wait to go again. Well done team!

    This was an exceptional meal, truly original flavours expertly cooked and presented. I have never tasted fresh tuna as good as this. Every course was perfect. Found the music a bit loud for us to converse comfortably.

    Great food which is hard to find on island. Would definitely return, especially as we can take the dog! Looking for negatives, not much for vegetarians on menu. Bit expensive and small portions, but it won’t stop me going back, I loved the food and view

    Took a friend and elderly mother for evening dinner. Our customer service experience was superb, very accommodating and friendly. Basic furnishings inside but new and super clean and the food is outstanding. Recommend the warm banana bread for desert, delicious.
