Smoking Lobster Ventnor is an award winning 2-Rosette restaurant located in the heart of Ventnor Bay, serving fresh, exciting & luscious Asian-Fusion cuisine for both adults and kids.

Our restaurant overlooks the ocean, so every meal is paired with breath-taking sea views.
Our local fisherman, Justin, catches our lobsters & line caught sea bass fresh for our use, so our dishes include the freshest possible ingredients from your local shores.

The bar menu reflects the elegant dishes from the kitchen, with precise, bespoke cocktails all prepared using fresh ingredients.

Family owned by the Giancovich's, with recipes influenced by their extensive travels around Asia, and by their childhood of growing up hunting, gathering, and spear-fishing for seafood.

We look forward to looking after you.
Note: Dogs are accepted upon request as limited spaces available for dogs. Open on Special Occasions on Sundays until Summer.

Highly recommend food was brilliant. The access doors a bit stiff though so that needs sorting, Otherwise great host and staff, really enjoyed our evening at the SmoLo

Loved it enough to return a second time during a six night stay on the island. The food was fantastic. We ordered a selection of tapas on our first visit and treated ourselves to the tasting menu the second time. Great food, great drinks, great team cooking and serving. The frontage of the restaurant isn't appealing, so you start to imagine it's not a great place, but it's lovely inside with a good atmosphere. And it's located on the seafront, so thr views are perfect. Thanks, team!

First time dining here. Fabulous, recommend and will return. Scallops and tuna were delicious, cooked to perfection. Food presentation very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Another amazing meal at The Smoking Lobster. From the first sip of my cucumber and lychee martini to my last bite of pineapple carpaccio washed down with a beautiful dessert wine. Love that they’ve changed to menu to tapas style - the variety is fantastic and we tried lots. Highly recommend the bass and the tempura broccoli but everything was delightful. Can’t wait to return. The Leoube rose is sensational.

Couldn’t choose between the dishes on the menu they all looked so delicious, ordered and ate far too much as a result but it was all absolutely wonderful, the best and most interesting seafood we’ve had in a long time. Great very prompt and friendly service, would highly recommend and love to come back
