   We look forward to dinner here every year on our annual trip to IoW. This time was no exception. My daughter, who has coeliac disease, is always nervous in restaurant situations and the staff and knowledge level here goes above and beyond. For someone with food allergies this is so comforting. The staff take it seriously and are super well informed. The food is also always outstanding and we had a fantastic meal. Service matches the food. 5 stars all around. We can’t wait for next time.

   Probably the most interesting ( and tasty !!) food have had for a long time. Fresh , inventive and really well cooked. Nice relaxed but efficient service. Look forward to coming back

   We did have a lovely time and really enjoyed the food. It was delicious. Service was lovely too. But I just can’t believe they charged us 3 quid for some cucumbers for our baby when you’re already spending a lot for your own food. I just think that’s something that needs to be thought about.

   We had a smashing lunch, sitting outside in the sunshine and enjoying the views. The lunch of small plates was delicious and every mouthful was full of flavour and texture. The team were great and really looked after us. We will definitely be back!

   Very happy with our lovely Easter Monday lunch today. John and the rest of the team kindly accommodated our larger-than-expected family party and made us very welcome. The food was delicious as usual and the lovely Hannah looked after us brilliantly. All perfect!

   The best restaurant on the Isle of Wight by far. The food was outstanding, absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented. Make sure you book in advance as this place is well worth it! The food and cocktails are fabulous. We enjoyed our small plates so much, we ordered more. We had Duck Breast, Pork Belly, Scallops, Peanut Noodles, Turnip Cake with Quails Egg and more and it was all exquisite. Try the Chilli Mango Margarita too! The staff are so friendly and great with recommendations and sea view is just beautiful. Thank you! We will be back.

   absolutely FABULOUS food and lovely staff. We ate there twice on holiday and it was incredible, a definite not-miss for anyone visiting the Isle of Wight. I had the grilled lobster the first time and went back to try the tempora lobster - the manager was so kind as to offer to reserve the lobster for me as it was bank holiday and he wanted to make sure I got one! On top of the excellent food and comfortable decor the staff are so friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

    Our experience at ‘Smoking Lobster’ was fantastic! The service was attentive and professional and the food was absolutely delicious! The cocktails were also good but did take a while to arrive. Overall, it was an expensive but excellent gastronomic experience.
