Smokin Fins - Fort Collins
Our server was fantastic, very attentive and helpful. The food was great and the Peach Cheesecake was something we will remember. My son's favorite Sushi place!
Lauren and Molly were fantastic today. Molly was just in training but already very knowledgeable. Both were very pleasant and we’ll definitely be back soon
Amazing brunch with bottomless mimosas! Chris and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Great food - sat on the patio and enjoyed our time there.
Dropped in looking for sushi and enjoyed the delicious rolls! Nice touch by personable manager/chef to visit the table. Will return.
Great atmosphere & menu. Sunday is all day happy hour - can’t be beat! A new favorite of ours!
Great evening celebrating our 25 anniversary at Smokin Fins. Jeremiah our server took great care of us. The sushi was great and the Moscow mules were tasty.
Great place with awesome staff ! Highly recommend checking it out!
Yummy! Good service! We sat in the patio as it was pretty loud inside, but what you would expect of a pub style restaurant. The food arrived quickly, which was nice. It was a bit more expensive than I think it should have been. The prices were more in-line with a little higher end restaurant, but the restaurant itself felt more like a casual, everyday restaurant. We had an app, two beers, two entrees and dessert for just over $100, so not horrible, just a little high. Overall it was good. We’ll go back, but not often due to the prices
Wonderful atmosphere. Exceptional service and delicious food. Had a wonderful time on our family night out!
Fins knocked it out of the park. Chris the GM seemed to be everywhere at once, in a good way. He stopped by to make sure everything was peachy, and we had a pleasant conversation. We watched him do this with every table, while running food and seating guests when needed. And he’s the head chef? Dude has game. Our server, Lindsey, was an absolute gem. Charming, knowledgeable, and down right adorable. The food alone earned the 5 star review. The awesome atmosphere, cordial staff, and the goose bumps I had through the entire experience make me wish I could give another 5 starts somehow. 10 stars total. Will be back asap
Service was fine but the food took way to long to make (well over an hour and the restaurant was only 1/3 full). Food was good (not great). There are other better restaurants around I'd pick from first.
We visited Smokin Fins on our anniversary weekend away. I am not a huge seafood person, but my husband is. I absolutely LOVED the food, drinks and staff. Chris came by multiple times to check on us and our waiter was great! Chris even allowed me to substitute on my meal, which made the experience that much better! Cannot wait to come back!
The food at Smokin Fins is excellent. There are creative and delicious options on the menu. It is the best fish and chips in town. Try the stuffed avocado. The chef will visit your table and get your input. Chris makes you feel very welcome. Using OpenTable for the reservation is a blessing, and you get treated like royalty. Five stars all the way!
We enjoyed our experience overall! Great food, amazing service. The manager, Chad, came to check on us frequently which I appreciate and our server, Ali, was awesome! We love the diverse menu and lots of gluten free options. Our kiddos loved their food too, great kids menu options. We will be back!
Amazing service, food and cocktails. Staff was very friendly. The GM, Chris, came by twice to make sure our experience was memorable. Will recommend Smokin Fins to all of our friends!
we had a booth in the back, which was nice until a very large party was seated on the tables next to us. it was a little noisy, but not horrible. the food was very good, I was happy with my meal.
Such delicious food. And wonderful customer service! Only two complaints, it was a little more noisy than I would have liked but it was fun. The other complaint is, I got the seared scallops and ahi dish and while the huge chunk of tuna was great I was disappointed to only receive two scallops. Still delicious though!
One of our favorites and this visit did not disappoint.
It's somewhat loud, and we were entertaining friends, so table conversation was difficult.
As the night wore on the noise level lowered, and was more conducive to conversation.
The entire staff here is top-notch. From the servers and kitchen staff, to the general manager. Ryan, our server, was really knowledgeable and attentive, even when it got BUSY. The food was cooked perfectly and amazing, came very quickly and well paced, too. The menu has a really great variety, and alot of unique takes on common dishes. Sushi was amazing. The GM, Chris, made sure we had a great night out and a very memorable experience. Can't recommend this place enough. Will be back for more!
Excellent, friendly wait staff. Great sushi, good fish and chips.
Service and food were awful. Took over 30 minutes to get our food when the place was empty.
Had to flag down our server to say "where is our food". Then magically it appeared. Obviously sat under heat lamps for a long time. Coagulated cheese in my pasta, slimy consistency to the cauliflower/brussels sprouts appetizer. I can't think of a worse dining experience I have had in recent memory.
Great happy hour
Atmosphere and food were wonderful! Lindsay was a great server and very attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Although Smokin Fins is a bit hard to find, it is well worth the search! Service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was very, very good. My seared ahi tuna starter was over-the-top excellent, seared perfectly-but-barely around the edges, with a flavorful crust that complemented the buttery-soft raw interior perfectly. Superb! My lobster & crab deviled eggs were good, with lovely chili oil and crisp bacon pieces. In comparison to the ahi, the deviled eggs were merely good.
A decently wide wine by the glass offering and great customer service rounded out a really nice dining experience. Definitely recommend; just do your map homework ahead of time so you know where to find it.
Always good service and tasty entrees!
We knew nothing about it but took a chance. We were really glad we did! Came for weekend brunch. Everything was fresh, delicious and homemade. Unique selections. Everyone in our party of six ordered something different and all were pleased!
Great lobster Mac, salmon, and Nashville chicken. The dragon rolls melt in your mouth
Great spot for dinner or just drinks, friendly and great service
Absolutely fantastic food! Very nice ambiance, and located in a sweet spot in the mall!
The best sushi 🍣 in Fort Collins. I will definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant.
Both the parking garage and ground parking were nearby and the short walk to Smokin Fins was nice, passing the grassy "park" area with strolling families, etc. We were cheerfully greeted and seated promptly and our server, though it being his first night, was friendly, accommodating and efficient. He was super patient with us since we asked several questions, each time his leaving to find the appropriate answer. Husband and I split a very reasonably priced, medium-sized rib-eye steak, done just right, moist and tender, accompanied by medium portions of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The special $20 bottle of cab was surprisingly nicely full-bodied and perfect with our steak. From our booth, we also enjoyed the professional efficiency and talent of the bartendress! We will be back.
Great food and great service!
Our waitress was great, maybe one of the best we've had! I think her name was Ally(?)? Everyone said their food was awesome and we are looking forward to going back.
This was our first visit and we were very impressed. Easy reservation process, friendly staff and attentive service. Great menu variety and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Smokin Fins is one of the best restaurants in Fort Collins and I love that it's "off the beaten path" and away from the typical downtown choice. The food is excellent, and I appreciate that every time I go I get a visit from the chef himself at my table checking to make sure it all tastes right. The service is good and the ambiance on point with a huge industrial garage door that opens to the patio on warmer days. Overall I would say this is one of my favorite places in town. Highly recommend!!
Wonderful seafood and sushi rolls. Service is always top notch!
My family and I had a really good meal at Smokin Fins. We had a nice waitress and the food was pretty good.
I do wish that the kids menu had some better/healthier options. They did not even have fish and chips on the kids menu.
One of our favorite restaurants in town!
We had a great time celebrating my birthday there, the service was good and everybody enjoyed the food. Happy hour drinks were good too!
