   This place was fantastic! The service was stellar and totally on point. The pairings were thoughtful. The waygu was transcendant. The veggie rice dich was fantastic, though I personally enjoyed stage 1 and 2 of that dish a bit more than stage 3. The booth chairs were a bit uncomfortable. I'd definitely recommend a visit here!

   Four of us ate at the Smoke Door last night. Expensive but WORTH IT! We enjoyed the 10 course fix price menu. Unbelievable! For foodies, this place is a must. They take food experience to an advanced level of sophistication. The whole table could not pick their favorite,- they were all so good. So we tried to pick our least favorite ...NOPE. Every dish was incredible. The service matched the food. We let the server pick our Sake. Fantastic pairing with the menu. Try this restaurant. It was an awesome experience. You will not be disappointed.

   From my initial call to Zak to make a change in my reservation (we were celebrating my wife’s birthday) to the dinner itself. Everything was amazing. We were a party of four. We sat at the bar and took great delight in the 5 course tasting menu. Every dish was unique, tasted amazing and we got complete descriptions of each course; where the food was from, how it was prepared etc. The restaurant is small but they had a huge staff and everyone talked to us and we got a great tour of the kitchen after dinner. After dessert , my wife got an extra dessert with a birthday candle and a little music box that played “happy Birthday” & a sweet birthday card! What a great meal and a fantastic night. Can’t wait to come back!!! Thanks for making my wife’s birthday dinner so special.

   Excellent experience end-to-end, from the seasonal menu changes, to the super fresh Japanese fish, to the little touches throughout the night. The staff were all knowledgeable and super engaging. A dinner worth making a trip for.

   Smoke Door is a must-visit. The food was absolutely excellent — every dish packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The 10-course prix fixe was fantastic, offering a delicious journey from start to finish. On top of that, the service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

    Great service & delicious food. Sashimi fish & pork belly are my favorite. Wish we could do a la cart instead of fix menu.
