   while the food and atmosphere were good, the service was..... terrible. our waitress was hard to find and took forever. we had to constantly wave down other servers for things. so we ended up being there 2.5 hours almost 3. i'll probably never go again. nice views though!

   We had a great experience here. The views were a nice touch. The food was pretty good. The Mexican salad was delicious. Con: The lemon pepper sauce for the wings was unique. Unfortunately, no one at the table enjoyed it. Con: Parking is difficult.

   Did some sightseeing in DC with my daughter and CD and across this restaurant noted for its views of the capital building. It’s the rooftop of a Marriott hotel. Nice place with a nice casual vibe. Food is fine, nothing spectacular, but good. Not an extensive menu, but I’m sure most can find something they would enjoy. The views are also just fine, nothing to be in awe over. Service was also just fine. I liked the casual atmosphere, nothing pretentious or too trendy. We went on a Tuesday night, so things may have been a bit more subdued. Other reviewers say it can be noisy if there’s a big gathering or party going on.

   The inside area where you check in was extremely loud so that was a tad annoying to begin with. I checked in and waited for my table for at least 10 mins even though others were being sat. I felt like I was just in the way and my party had no where to stand/ sit. The waiter had a stench and he was a little curt. Over all it was very nice once we got to our table and settled in. pretty view, the food was great and the ambience was enjoyable. 8/10 Birthday dinner.

   Lovely view of the Capitol as the sun set. We had shrimp and beef tacos and pretzel bites. Everything was delicious!

   The restaurant opened at 5pm. We got there early and the waitstaff let us sit on the patio. The view of the capital building was spectacular. There is noise from the highway nearby but it didn’t affect the atmosphere too much. The drinks and food were amazing. We had the crab and artichoke dip. Honestly, it was the best I have had in a long time. Our meal was great but the desserts-wow so yummy!!

   We had a great server and nice view. The food was good for a lite bite. The noise level was very high which made conversations difficult. We arrived about 845 pm, the place was busy but the hosts reported that it would thin out a bit soon, which it did making it more pleasant. They must be short staffed because the patio was very messy. As people filtered out, no one was cleaning up the seating area.

   We arrived early, had a couple of drinks in the patio. They were tasty and the view is beautiful! We went back to reception to be seated for our reservation 5 minutes early. They sat us, we waited for 20 minutes to get a server, even asking a passing employee to please see about our server, but we finally just left and went elsewhere. Maybe understaffed. Who knows. But bad service.
