   Food was impeccable but sadly let down by the service. First of all, we were sat at a high table (high chairs low table, very uncomfortable to eat food on and I advised I had a bad back) we asked to switch to the other 2 seated table which was just a regular table that didn’t have guests on yet but we were told we couldn’t move as there was a reservation coming in, even though we had also had a reservation and were there first. When ordering, we asked if the burgers could be cut in half as me and my partner were both sharing so we could try as much food from the menu as we could as we heard such good reviews, again we were told no. When eating, no one asked if we needed anything or if we were enjoying our food which was really disappointing. As mentioned, food was absolutely top notch but was just let down by service.

   Never fails to exceed expectations. Owners are passionate about their food and experience. Creative menu and lovely atmosphere in the garden . Do not visit Bourton without a visit to Smiths!!!

   Ate here for our anniversary meal while staying in the Cotswolds. Excellent food, the portions were plentiful but not over facing, the quality was clear to see. Staff were very friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere.

   Every time I eat here it’s nothing short of great. The service is always friendly. I didn’t catch the name of the young man who waited our table but Eloise was great fun as always and the owner, Seb, is a gent! Food is first class. You will not find a better burger in my honest opinion.

    Incredibly slow service - waiting over an hour for food. Food we ordered wasn’t available and they didn’t have fries …. So a “burger joint”, with a very limited menu that ran out of fries!!!!
