Great service and food traditional setting which was good for a 50th anniversary. They did a great job of the birthday cake and we really enjoyed that extra touch.
Great location on the water, the Gorgonzola filet was excellent.
Vacation in FL
Eat outside if you want to experience true Miami.
Always fun! Full of excitement and love going on Sundays to watch the cruise ships go by.
Excellent service as usual and the food is always Excellent. A 5 Star dining experience.
The service was amazing ! Our waitress was nothing but helpful and nice. The food was fantastic ! Pricing was great as well. I will definitely be returning.
I will recommend anyone to go here. The service/food was wonderful and I had a great time with my friends and family.
It’s good place to meet with friends, seat next to the ocean.
Our 2nd visit and almost didn’t go due to reviews. Steaks were perfectly prepared and the service was great...so glad we changed our minds and took out of town guests. Definitely will go back.
Meat was the best i have ever had in my life
Excellent food, wine and cocktail options. Great spot. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, gregarious, and funny. If only he remembered our orders correctly! Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.
It was a awesome lunch date;the food was terrific and the service was A1....
Keep up the great work
Food took a long, long time. Waiter Jose was just ok.
Extremely long wait for mediocre but expensive food
Over the top amazing , as usual. Gregory our server, immediately understood my quirks, I enjoy the moment, every moment, the whiskey , the wine, the meal scheduled perfectly and cooked exactly as ordered.
I made 7:15pm Saturday reservations for date a had. When we arrived, and asked about outdoor seating, I was told we needed to get on another wait list. The matradee took us outside and a person put us on a waitlist. To our surprise, we were seated a table next to the water within 10 minutes. We were very surprised and pleased. The service, the food and Ambiance were wonderful. We got a chance to see a cruise ship go by. See attached pictures. Needless to say , it was a wonderful night, experience and date. James Harris
We were here to celebrate a birthday. Food was decent, but nothing special and way overpriced. Had to get up from our table twice to find our waitress who seemed to ignore us the entire time we were there. Our table for two was stuck against a wall with waiters rolling tables of food and dirty dishes past us all too frequently. One waiter actually pushed one of the rolling tables into me without so much as an "excuse me." Last time for me at this location.
The food was excellent . It is a bit pricey but worth it. They definitely honor reservations and the valet is excellent. My only complaint was the service . I feel like our waiter should have definitely checked up on us a little more. Otherwise it's excellent.
S & W was the perfect spot for an impromptu private lunch for two.
We spent 2 hours and were not once asked if we wanted our check.
The food was as always fresh and delicious. I would have liked to have had more than two shrimp on my salad (for an additional $11).
All in all, a great lunch choice in a great location on a Saturday afternoon in South Beach!
All the food was average. For the price I was expecting well above average. Steak was slightly undercooked (rare, not med rare). Asparagus lacked flavour.
Location of restaurant is wonderful, right on the water. We were lucky to get a table close to the shoreline and had a pleasant meal of lobster burgers and cheeseburgers. Service friendly if a little chaotic and reasonable value for money.
Had a great dinner while on vacation in Miami. Fernando provided perfect service from wine recommendations to local knowledge. We all enjoyed delicious steaks (cooked perfectly) and shared vegetables. Lump crab appetizer was spectacular too!
Wonderful. Shrimp cocktail OUTSTANDING. Best venue in Miami.
We had a terrific time. Very nice environment. I noticed its much more casual, with men in shorts.
The strip steak was horrible not the caliber of a steakhouse it was medium rare not juicy tasteless it looked like something you get at a dinner way way below par totally unacceptable
Outstanding food, impeccable service & great view.
The food was good. However, for the price and kind of venue I don’t like the fact that they allow dogs in the main dining room.
I like pets, but I don’t like paying $300 for a meal and have dogs sitting at the tables around us.
All three in our party thought the steaks were the best we had eating at any steak house.
It was very pleasant and worth going back again.
A little long wait, but beautiful ambience and food!
Barry, our server, was A+ rate and on point for all our needs. We celebrated my mother’s 25th anniversary of her dual transplant with her surgeon. A fantastic day in an awesome environment! We will be returning to Smith & Wollensky ASAP!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious!
Delicious but really over priced we were a party of 4 $400 with $100 buck tip 1 drink each no desert pricey but new it would be
The day we were there... the service was really bad..!!
Great food and lovely atmosphere
Great ribeye. Ny strip over cooked but ok. Sides perfect
For lunch eating outside you can’t beat the ambiance, dinner was fantastic as well , one of my favorite places in South Beach
If this wasn’t in such a touristy area, I believe the experience could have gone from very good to great. Certainly the menu, food quality, layout, drinks, wine selections were all befitting the Smith & Wollensky name. However the arrival valet, service, and lack of detail/attention are all factors required for a great steak experience. Perhaps it was Sunday night or maybe it was high season but we couldn’t help feel like we were just being moved in and out like a factory. Unless they are willing to limit the patrons and focus on experience, this will likely never attain peak status like top chophouses in other cities.
