Great food and lovely atmosphere
Great ribeye. Ny strip over cooked but ok. Sides perfect
For lunch eating outside you can’t beat the ambiance, dinner was fantastic as well , one of my favorite places in South Beach
If this wasn’t in such a touristy area, I believe the experience could have gone from very good to great. Certainly the menu, food quality, layout, drinks, wine selections were all befitting the Smith & Wollensky name. However the arrival valet, service, and lack of detail/attention are all factors required for a great steak experience. Perhaps it was Sunday night or maybe it was high season but we couldn’t help feel like we were just being moved in and out like a factory. Unless they are willing to limit the patrons and focus on experience, this will likely never attain peak status like top chophouses in other cities.
Tables too close to each other not a great place to take a date
The food and the service was great..our waiter was nice and able to handle our big crowd of 13..the angry shrimp was awesome..everyone in our party enjoyed their food
Nice renovations! Service at the bar was excellent. Table service was slower than norm... and steaks were not the quality we have had in the past. The staff did offer to exchange and they did give us a comp. dessert.
It’s a traditional old-shool steak house in most every sense, which is a good thing.
Top-notch food, service and cocktails plus the South Beach vibe, clientele and awesome location.
This was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. The ambience was great but the shrimp was burnt, the steak was rare and sent back twice and came back rare again and the macaroni was terrible. Only good thing was the wine.!i will never go back
Service was second to none. Our waiter knew everything about the menu. He described everything perfectly and was great at assisting what to pick. Food was superb. The spicy shrimp was, hands down, the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. The breading was more like a dust and the season complimented it perfectly. It wasn’t spicy at all (coming from a person who hate spicy). The dry-aged bone in NY Strip was great. Could’ve used just a hint more of salt. The truffle honey carrots were spot on and a must have. Lobster Mac n cheese was a bit of heaven. This place is a must go for people who can dish out $300 for a meal for 2.
PS - Don’t forget to have a slice of the chocolate cake. It’s not overly sweet and the portion size is definitely shareable.
Food and service was outstanding. Beautiful location
Will be going back very soon and many more times. Steak was tender, juicy and very flavorful.
Window view of the Miami harbor was fabulous
Gustavo was nice. Pura Vida!!!
If you want to sit outside next to the water, you have to get there early. Tables fill up quickly at the peak lunch times! Great experience, food was just as amazing.
Always great!!! Love the food and the service
If there was a 10 star rating for my meal it would have gotten it in a heartbeat..... it was THAT GOOD. Same experience for all of my dining guests...... Outstanding!
I’ve had many years of visits to this location and it was wonderful. Not this visit. 7:30 reservations and couldn’t get our food at 10:30pm., even after multiple complaints from the table. Epic failure on service then they didn’t bring any of the sides we ordered. Waiter wanted to keep bringing drinks not food. Had to find the manager to get the check.
New York strip was OK (Longhorns is better)
Steak knives was dull OR maybe it was the steak?
Too loud for normal conversation without yelling. Will come back but after the season or for lunch.
Upon arrival I requested an area a quiet as possible relalizeing that this is a steakhouse and quiet is not the norm.
However we were seated next to a 75th birthday party !! You can imagine.
We were moved however to a table area so crowded you could not even move without asking the table adjoining us to get up to allow us to get out.
The steaks were average but the sides while expensive were very good. The waitstaff were well trained an cordial.
Very good with fabulous ambience and biews
I was unable to enjoy my food because it was undercooked. Even after sending it back two times it still was not pleasing. The waitress was very nice about it, and the chef came out and offered to correct my meal completely, but it was already so late, as I had another venue to attend.
We celebrated our 15th Anniversary here on Valentine's Day and the overall experiences was amazing. We did request an outside seat with our reservation, however, one was not available so we were seated in an upstairs dining area. The room was okay as we were seated by a window but the tables were extremely close to the couple next to us so there was really no intimacy.
To start off dinner, we were brought out warm bread which was delicious. We ordered the caesar salad to start off and our waiter was kind enough to bring us a small sample of the angry shrimp and mashed potatoes for our Anniversary celebration. For dinner, we ordered the 46oz prime porterhouse steak, the truffled mac & cheese, with a bottle of Cherry Pie "Three Vineyards" pinot noir red wine. The steak was absolutely amazing! My husband and I aren't a fan of any steak unless it's well done and the chef cooked out steak to perfection! The mac & cheese was just okay, it was pretty bland and also has an unpleasant smell. I wish we would've just opted for the mashed potatoes instead.
For dessert, we were surprised by our waiter with a huge slice of coconut cake which was very good as well! I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion but don't forget your wallet!
everything was perfect!
the menu, the wine list, the view... Wonderful!
Wouldn't go there ever again. Food was cold, wassnt done right. Nothing had much of a flavor. Steaks taste like water. The food took 30mins to come out. Wouldn't waste my time and money on this place.
Good food, outstanding service, at a great location!
Great food, amazing water view and excellent service. THE SERVICE OF OUR WAITER WAS SOME OF THE BEST WE HAD IN A LONG TIME, THIS ITALIAN MAN WAS ON POINT!
However it was not our excellent waiter who handled this, we had more food than we could enjoy that night so I asked for a box to go....when the lady came back we our box was not filled with all our food, i noticed that the bone was missing...our German shepherd loves them. when we got home I noticed that we only got 1/2 of our meet and 1/2 of our potato gratin boxed up for us...the veggies seamed to be there. it was disappointing to see that this happened as the rest got probably throw out....
Our lunch was fantastic from start to finish. We sat outside overlooking water - watching boats go by. Our server was attentive friendly and efficient. We shared the Wollensky salad - amazing - great value. Followed by the lobster sandwich which was soooo good! It was the perfect Valentine’s Day treat. No room for dessert! We will definitely be back!!
Food was good per the usual, but it seemed as though the server had forgotten about us after we received our entrees. We originally planned on having desssert, but after waiting 20+minutes we decided to leave.
