Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse - Miami

We celebrated my husband's birthday while on our last day of vacation. A birthday card from the restaurant was at our table when we arrived. The restaurant was recommended by a local friend, and we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful setting along the water to watch the ships and boats, and a great place for a stroll along the walkway. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the service was also superb! Our only negative is we did not see signs for paid parking and we got a parking ticket (It might be nice for the restaurant to remind patrons about the parking and how/where to pay for it).

It was a lovely evening. The food was fine. a bit salty, but fresh. The rolls were delicious.

Outstanding service and even better food. My wife, my daughter, and I had a great time and the view is amazing.

Our waiter was good but the 2 people wh sat us were rude they just pointed to another person to hand us off then he just pointed to the table. Awful 1st impression

While they do not guarantee outside seating, we were offered seating that was unshaded for my mother's 80th (which I'd put on the reservation). We were fine with this, but the manager was incredibly gruff and unpleasant. We chose not to stay, and he kept coming back rudely saying he was trying to help us. We paid $10 valet for a 5 minute visit. I won't return or recommend this place to visitors. The hostesses were lovely and knew it was her birthday, but the manager was not a pleasant. I'm unsure if he had a bad day or is unsuited to hospitality, but the people make a business.

Thanksgiving dinner

I expected more from this place. The food was good but the service was bad. For what you pay for the service should be a lot better.

View was excellent upstairs balcony. Waiter nice but not efficient. apps were excellent. Main course was poor. Lambchops came out almost raw. The lobster tails were from Florida and were bland as usual-and the cost was excessive.

Experience was pretty good steak was off the charts service a little slow but manageable

Pésima experiencia , el servicio pésimo y tardado , la comida mala una cerveza la trajeron en el segundo platillo , nos querían dar una mesa muy mala y eso que íbamos de aniversario , nos la cambiaron muy a la fuerza , no vale la pena ir a comer a este restaurante.

It was a great place for thanksgiving dinner! A special menu and the regular menu. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was delicious as always. And the outdoor patio was just perfect. Great way to spend the holiday!

We had an amazing time at Smith & Wollensky's in Miami. The restaurant is beautiful! Definitely try to get a table outside - the view and fresh air is fabulous. Val Domnici, the GM, Reza Bayatzadeh, and Ryan all went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our dinner was perfect. We were celebrating two birthdays I'm our group, but everyone in our party of 8 was made to feel very special. Our server and the team helping him was very knowledgeable about the food and made sure everything was timed to come out at a good pace. The shellfish tower was spectacular and the steaks were prepared to perfection. The desserts were out of this world - we had all of them, there's no way I can pick a favorite. They were all amazing! Many thanks to Smith & Wollensky for not just a wonderful dinner, but the wonderful memories created that evening!

Amazing time with my soon to be fiancée

My wife and I was looking for a good place to eat a steak and enjoy a cigar on our one anniversary as a couple. Had a 7:30 pm reservation arrived there at 7;22 pm was told to standby our table wasn’t ready. Two other party of two come after us they was seated right away. I ask the hostess that we was here first is our table ready. The gentlemen acted like he could not find our reservation. Then after 10 min. we was seated at a table no menus of course. Now it 7:50 pm I ask a staff member that’s was walk by is there a waiter for this area they said let me check. Then at 8:05 me And my wife didn’t feel comfortable there an we left. Bad experience. Will not visit or recommend this to any of My African Americans Friends

Although it was a beautiful night outside, we ended up sitting at the inside bar and had a ton of fun with the Bartender. It was like dinner with a show. Shared a fillet and caeser salad which was both delicious as were the cocktails. Highly recommend. I didn't know that reservations were not taken for outside. To sit out there it's first come. fyi

Everything was perfect.

Every employee was wonderful and sweet. From Valet , Host and Waiter. I can’t remember everyone’s name but George was my waiter and he was super sweet. He made my Anniversary a night to remember.

The restaurant is wonderfully located at the very south end of Miami Beach on the channel that takes cruise ships out to sea. If you can sit outside, it is well worth it.
