Absolutely perfect evening. My wife and I loved the outdoor seating. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Excellent food!!
Wonderful Sunday night out on the patio!
Great food. Great service. Always our favorite restaurant
We celebrated my fiance's birthday at Smith and Wollensky's. We both had such an amazing time! Wonderful food, atmosphere and service!
Jason our server was excellent. Food was amazing !
Jason was our server and he was fantastic
American Waygu Tomahawk steak...THE BEST!
Very friendly staff. The Asian salad was amazing.
Amazing staff but it was very expensive for no more than what you got.
Great food, great service.
From the moment we crossed pushed the door, the experience was fantastic. Our reservation was not due until an hour later but they accommodated us very generously in the dining room. Jason, in charge of our party, was attentive, courteous and very professional. My Martini was just made to perfection and it complemented well the appetizers. The split pea sup was, as always, superb. The entrees were all perfectly coordinated and served and cooked just as we ordered. Deserts, decadent. The experience was absolutely fabulous and we are due to come back for our next celebration.
Excellent steaks. Appetizers were great too. Amazing service! Would definitely go there again.
Mediocre at best. The food is over salted and overpriced
Expected food to be much better than it was
Zero diversity in menu. I could go to Applebee’s and get a better steak
Food was amazing! Service was also! Wish there was one closer to our home!
Consistently great — Cassie did a great job.
Had to send my steak back 2 times came out rare both times should have been medium not sure how that happens finally ordered well done not good manager very nice
From making the reservation to paying the bill this restaurant is AAAAA+. Food was more than excellent and the portions were very generous. Noise level is difficult, especially, since my wife and I are hard of hearing. The open area for seating contributes to this problem.
Great food. Great service. Great location.
Always great food and service
We went for my grandmas 90th birthday and this difficult-to-please woman is still swooning over the meal and the service. They made her feel special and tried to complete every knit-picky request, even when she requested pita bread with dinner. I am so thankful for the staff and kitchen for making this dinner a memorable one.
Was an overall excellent experience. Would recommend to anyone.
It was a gorgeous evening to sit outside. The wine was delicious, however, my steak was cold and not cooked correctly. I didn’t say anything because they were so busy and we had already waited a significant amount of time for our food. We honestly could have eaten at other similar restaurants for less money and known that the food would have been better.
Great Atmosphere, Great Service & Great Food! They go over and beyond to make it a perfect dinning experience.
I took my parents to dinner, spur of the moment... it was an incredible night. We had dinner on the patio and enjoyed every bite . I had the Alaskan King Crab legs... amazing. Everything from the food to the ambiance/ patio was incredible. Thank you for a great start to the weekend !
Ordered a salad with salmon. Everyone at the table got their food 10 minutes before me. Salmon was over cooked and was served with the skin still on it. I would have complained, but didn’t want to negatively impact my customers’ experience.
Great service with fantastic food...
Never had a bad meal with Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse !!
The atmosphere and waiter were great. The food was good, not outstanding. I expected a little bit better flavor profile, texture etc. out of a $58 steak. We like to try different high end places for special events and we probably will not return. Really not worth the price tag for what is was.
Food was delicious, service was excellent, cocktails were great too.
This was our second time eating at Smith & Wollensky's and thought it would be a blast to go for restaurant week, when we arrived for dinner. It was 9:00 pm and whining down we were instantly seated after arriving. We sat a table, which was a little uncomfortable and without a menu, a little over 10 minutes before stopping a waitress who seemed uncomfortable with me speaking to him, being he was cleaning wine glasses feet away from us. I asked could we move to a booth, he says yes. We sat for 15 minutes without any waitress asking us if we wanted a beverage, bread or if we had questions about the menu. We decided to gather our things and a Manager came over and asked us if we needed assistance. We expressed our frustration and he was very polite and a pleasure to have. He was the reason we decided to stay, I don't think we'll be eating here again.
Food options were not up to par with price. Qaulity of food provided was not fresh and service as not the best. I waited 45mins for an appitizer!
Two basic drinks cost me $38. I’ve been to nice restaurants before but this was highway robbery.
Very nosy. It was had to talk above all the other conversations. Acoustics was bad. Everyone in large room. Out of 5 restaurants we ate at this was the least liked. Food was good but not great.
Very overpriced and the steak wasn’t even that great... I could’ve done just fine at outback.
The restaurant week menu was so limited, steaks didn’t come with sides and after one drink, tip and a $40 entree I still paid $75
Had to ask multiple times for my beverage. My steak was dry and tasteless. Not what a remember this restaurant to be. Sadly it was our anniversary.. desert was terrible
Excellent food but expensive for the poor service and a cafeteria feel.
Lump crabmeat and shrimp cocktails were outstanding as were the steaks.
The service was poor at best. We were served the wrong drinks from the bar for our first order and never received my martini olives I requested. We ordered a very nice bottle of wine, only to have it decanted into a stained, dirty decanter. And, the server was very inattentive where we didn’t get condiments with our meal because no-one ever came by to ask. We also had to pour our own wine.
As far as the atmosphere, having a five foot “Eat 5 cents” on the wall doesn’t go well with the 390$ price tag. The atmosphere is neither intimate nor consistent with other high end steak houses.
Food was really good and at a really good price but felt a little rushed.
Wonderful time! Great food!
