Sat outside. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Branzino was excellent and as good as S&W in Vegas where we go frequently. NY Strip was cooked appropriately but the cut of meat was poor and very fatty. Far inferior on steak from both Vegas and Chicago locations.

Felt like a school dinner hall upstairs. Noise level was off the charts loud and when I’m paying $300 for 2 people to have a steak a a few sides plus 1 glass of wine & 1 soft drink I don’t expect my steak to be served on a side plate. Wasn’t like Smith & Wollensky from 10 yrs ago.

We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco in recognition of our 56th wedding anniversary. We felt that was “first class”. Every course was outstanding. Our main entrees, dover sole and veal chop, were prepared perfectly. Art, our server, was attentive & friendly. It has been 11 years since we have visited NYC. Smith & Wollensky was our first evening dinner choice in the city. Not disappointed & appreciated. Thank you for a memorable evening!
