The food and service were out of this world. We sat downstairs in the bar area so the noise level was what I would expect.
I don't understand how Ruth Chris can be always packed while this gem always have open tables. The aged steaks are so delicious and at the same pricepoint, there's truly nothing better in vegas.
Absolutely fantastic dining as usual. Food was top notch and service beyond excellent. Would recommend and will continue to visit.
We had a great dinner, our group was 4 ladies and we decided to share some entrees and sides. Our only complaint was that our server’s demeanor changed when we told him we were going to split plates and not each order our own entrees. We had plenty of food and even shared desserts, so he still had an opportunity for a nice tip. (And we did tip 20+%) Was just a tad disappointing to see him change his service based on our order.
Our server Ben was fantastic! All of our food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Will definitely be back in the future!
Fantastic meal and experience. Customer service was top-notch.
Wifes steak came out charred on one side, was not edible and had to wait to get a new one. The manager did comp it. Overall not much flavor to their meat or sides, everything was fairly bland.
We had a dinner as a company kick off. The service was excellent and we feel we were very well treated and food was exceptionally good. The signature fillet mignon steak was really melting in the mouth!!
Ian is amazing!!!!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!!
Exceptional service and food. The wait staff was the best of any place we ate in Vegas. My steak was cooked as ordered and Mac and cheese was the best I have ever ate. Only downside is it’s Vegas priced but you know that going in. First class dining experience at the Venetian.
First time visiting, traveling from Texas. The food was amazing and our server was awesome! The ambiance was not as expected. Just felt like we were in the middle of a mall by being upstairs, (little noisy from the outside traffic) but the steak presentation was very cool and our steak was cooked to perfection.
We celebrated my husband’s big birthday. The meal was just fabulous and then they brought him an amazing, decadent chocolate cake!! What a wonderful dinner!
Great place with wonderful food. Casually mentioned that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and at the end of our meal they brought a special dessert.
Ambiance of the restaurant was great! Music was loud enough to be enjoyable but not too loud that we couldn't hear people in our party. Tables were spaced well apart. Our server Jesse was phenomenal. Very charismatic, funny, and helpful when it came to menu selections. Service was very swift. Food was tremendous, everybody enjoyed their meals. Would definitely come back if I'm in the Vegas area!
Second time there for a quick dinner. Both times, my main arrived before I was done with my starter. Seems the kitchen sets the timing and not the servers so such screw-ups are common.
Steak was beautiful in the center but over charred (and over seasoned) on the outside making it a bit stringy. Not what I expect of a world class medium rare filet mignon.
Whipped potatoes taste great but have a few lumps of unwhipped potato.
Bar staff and servers are great but the kitchen lets them down and doesn’t live up to the NYC original reputation. For the $$$. I’d rather go to Delmonico or Wolfgang Pucks.
We had a wonderful time at S&W. I believe our servers name was Quinn. She was a delight. Very helpful with the menu and the history of Vegas. I will definitely be back and hopefully she will be there.
It was a wonderful experience and the food was excellent seasoned just right and tasty!
We took a group of 11 to dinner for my 50th birthday. The hostess was slightly rude and would not seat us until 9 of the 11 were there (8 of us were already there) even though we told her they were almost there. So we stood outside the restaurant for a few minutes. We thought this was ridiculous as even with 8, that was well over a majority! And we were going to spend a lot of money at dinner! However, our waiter Eric was fantastic and exemplified great service.
Completely unable to cook a steak to the required level
Service was very friendly and attentive
Accompanying food was poor, pasta in the Mac and cheese was soggy
Absolute best part was the salad and oysters
2 course with wine was in excess off $400k
Disappointed to say the least, they could learn a lot from London steak houses !
Won’t return or recommend
Fantastic service and great meat!!!!
Quality of the food was excellent, great service and good location.
Aged Prime was disappointingly tough. Service was great
Just an average steakhouse nothing special.
Great experience, great value, great restaurant
Our server was friendly and attentive. The food is always outstanding .
The steak was to die for and the potato's are worth writing home about.... but for some reason our martini's were sour and dull. quite a disappointment. But luckily we made it all go away with a great bottle of Paul Hobbs wine.
New Years dinner.
Our waiter wasn't very attentive to out table. He spent the majority of the 1:45 min of our dinner laughing and kidding around with a couple two tables across from us, my wife and I did not feel like we were given the attention that a alleged high end steak house warrants.
Her petite filet was no thicker than a few centimeters. our local grocery store has thicker filets, plus it was supposed to be wrapped with prosciutto, it didn't show up according to the menu description.
I would place Smith & Wollensky Behind:
McCormick & Schmicks
Horrible experience and would not repeat.
There are far better options for this price point. The food was more on par with an outback steak house. The filet was barely warm, and undercooked. The atmosphere was rather too busy and chairs uncomfortable. All the things I was not happy with would have been fine at half the price. Price does not match the experience.
El servicio y la comida excelente. Pasamos la noche del Año Nuevo para festejar
Absolutely phenomenal food and class act staff. Probably the best meal we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return
Best steak in town! From the drinks to dessert, everything was amazing!
Good service and atmosphere. The Brussels sprout and potatoes that comes with the wagyu porter house very mediocre. Enjoyed the steak and the angry shrimp.
The food was amazing and the staff was absolutely great!!
The food here is always pretty good. I changed up from my usual, had the NY strip. It was cooked to perfection! We were celebrating our anniversary so we had the chocolate tower cake as well. We will always dine here when in town!
Nice steak dinner. Dinner for 8 $1500.
Excellent food excellent service. Outstanding ambiance.
Everything was amazing. The atmosphere, waiters, and the food were all beyond my expectations. I will return!!!
The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding!
Very bad quality of meat and all the food! Taste terrible!!!!
