    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Burlington location of Smith & Wollensky. It was the best meal and experience we’ve ever had. Our server was warm, kind, professional and very attentive to all our needs. She, and her helpers, made the experience so enjoyable. The food, absolutely delicious! Everything from appetizers, the oysters and the angry shrimp, entrees and sides, the steak, fried onions, hash and corn, cooked to perfection! Then, desserts and coffee, chef’s kiss! The manager, Sam, was a complete Rock Star! We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. I can not recommend Smith & Wollensky, Burlington location, any higher!

    Service staff were diligent and pleasant. Food was overall disappointing...Filet and prime rib lacked flavor, blah...prime rib end cut was rare. Malbec was excellent and the best part of the meal. I am glad we did not order a more pricy cut of beef...I think at least the prime rib should have been more flavorful. For a restaurant to boast being a steak house, the beef should be outstanding, I believe. This is a one and done visit for me...

    I had to re-order 3x because they were out of each meal I tried to order!! When my meal finally came it was very rare. Server was no where to be found to ask for it to be cooked more. Server did not offer an apology or anything on the house for all the issues.

    I was appalled at the volume, SO noisy. Deafening to the point of distraction, we could hardly hear each other certainly affected our ability to appreciate each other's company. We were celebrating our anniversary and no champagne toast; we are LONG time customers, this is our annual celebration dinner and this is the first time that we have NOT received a comlimentary champagne toast AND not a complimentary dessert. Shocking. Food was "adequate" at best..... a far cry from the level we've grown to expect over decades l, case in point, sautéed mushrooms, there were 3 mushrooms (yes 3) and a few pieces of onions. In the past it was a bowl full of a variety of mushrooms. How sad. So disappointing. Never again. Money wasted and worse. Huge disappointment. We mourn what was. My husband's prime rib was SEARED! When is prime rib seared? No au jus, 3 half fingerling potatoes, 3 scrawny asparagus and the ugliest pop overs. This kitchen staff is out of their league. My black and blue filet was overcooked. Evrn my daughter warned the waiter how fussy i am about my steak. The truffle fries had SO much salt we couldn't even eat them. Only saw the waiter at the end of the meal. Sadly my husband forbids me to send dishes back and complain, he doesnt want to be embarrassed in his opinion. ...he managed a restaurant in his youth. The food appears to have fallen quite a lot from its former level. S&W appears to have fallen from its former status IMO to a lesser level.... now along the lines of a Ruth Chris (I would never eat there). So long Smith & Wollensky you are a memory of good times past.

    Enjoyed an early dinner. Had a very nice bottle of Stags Leap Merlot. Noticed that all the prices had gone up since a week ago. They also have some new items on the menu. Since it was a Saturday they offered the prime rib so I ordered that. My guest wasnt very hungry so she had the grilled octopus that she found delicious. My prime rib was properly medium rare but I think it could have benefited from longer roasting. The meat comes with popovers but they are too eggy and soggy to enjoy. Our server Filipe was excellent and he was well assisted by Marco who is always extremely efficient and hard working. Had a nice chat with manager Sam who is always accommodating.
